On Monday, April 30, having still not received a reply to my yelp message, I called directly. We scheduled an appointment for Wednesday May 2 at 9am. Wednesday came around and while it was rainy in the rest of the valley, my neighborhood was not too wet. 9am came and went and I received no phone call or text message as to them running behind. At 9:56 (an hour last appointment time)I reached out and asked if we needed to reschedule. I got a text message back saying the rain set them back and they would reschedule. Totally fine, I even look past the lack of communication on their part. I asked when we could reschedule for and got no response. I called again the next day, Thursday. They asked what day would work best for me and I initially said The coming Sunday. He agreed at first and then said nevermind, he had a family function to attend. He suggested Monday at 1pm to which I agreed. Monday morning I sent a text message to confirm the appointment. I never got a response. 1pm came around and still nothing. I called at 1:22 and got voicemail. I left a message and got a text 17 mins later saying they were yet again running behind. I again expressed it wasn't a big deal but that I wish I had an update. I asked for an estimate on a new time and as of this writing (2:56 PM) I still have no response. I tried one more time to call and was met with a message stating the number was not accepting messages. Didn't realize it was this had to GIVE a company your business... Update 12/16/18: How nice of you to finally respond 7 months later. And very professionally I might add. Your defensive rant and resorting to name calling speaks volumes. You also claimed to have driven by my house and found it so vile, disgusting, and repulsive that you simply refused to work on it. Funny thing, you worked on it just a few months earlier. Refer to the yelp message where I asked if you could come out for *another* clean up. Good luck in your future, bud.

Long overdue review…read more Ive been meaning to leave a review but time has been my enemy. It goes by so fast and ive just realized its been a good 1.5 year thats passed. Ive attached some before and after photos that ive found on my phone. I have plenty more on my hard drive but i dont have time to get that so hopefully these photos will do justice. Anyhow this is our first house that we bought and the backyard was just full of dirt and lemon trees. My dad was the one who removed the trees (to save labor fees). I found Dave here on Yelp and had good vibes when we met. My husband basically told him what we wanted. A cement slate in the middle and turf surrounding it since we have kids and want to enjoy our backyard for the furture plus we had a house warming coming up at that time. We had several other people look and gave us estimates and Dave was the only one that gave us a reasonable price since we were on a budget. He shared the same design vibe we had and was very open to everything we suggested. He was honest with the timeline. And must i say he handled my anxiousness as politely as he could because i admit i can be a bit OCD when it comes to projects and annoying because i would call/text almost every day. Although i may agree with the other comments here about him not being communicative and possible lack of commitment, i understood, on my end, he handles all projects HIMSELF with a small/close crew he trusts meaning if hes trying to handle ALL projects and projects dont always go as planned, things will be held back and he does NOT let any work go unfixed without him. He is very proud of every project he takes on and it shows. If you have a complaint, he will personally go to your place and fix the issue. The quality of his turf is exceptional. The cement slab is concrete, stable and leveled. As you can see the after pics, those are very recent. I took those just a week ago. As you can tell we added a gazebo that my husband built himself and furnished the area. When we mentioned to Dave our future plans, he was telling us that he can assist is just about ANYTHING and i dont doubt that at all. Hes an overall great guy with great experience/knowledge and character. He has a good heart and does every project as if you were family. In summary, I will forever be thankful to Dave for making our paradise come true. Thank you again and hope youre doing well if you get to read this review, Dave! Armando had reached out to me within the hour on a Friday evening. He had mentioned he would be able to stop by the house on Saturday afternoon to provide a estimate of the work. After reviewing the issues, he had confirmed it was the valve on the irrigation system. He had provided a quote, including yard clean-up, and would return on a Tuesday. On Tuesday, he actually showed up earlier than what was scheduled! There was also a broken pipe after he dug up the irrigation to replace the valve. He did a amazing job! The yard looks fantastic and the sprinkler system is working normal now!

However, he did NOT test the valve with the water on because when the timer came on, it was clearly leaking in two places. He said sorry, he was still working, and INSISTED he would put us on his schedule for 1pm the next day. The next day, I text him at 1:52 asking where he was. He replied back several hours later showing me pictures of a property he was working on. Not sure what the point of that was, but to date, he STILL hasn't come back. Stay far, far away from this company. I find it even more interesting how quickly someone is responding on Yelp instead of attempting to make it right. It's comical! I had one hell of a time with my backyard, lets just get this out of the way. There was a TON of communication issues with my GC on this project and of course Mts. Edge HOA did not help either. BUT we are not here for them but for the amazing Luxury Custom Landscapes. That being said, lets get down to the greatness. Well my project was a big one. I had desert landscaping before with some bushes, big trees, rock, and pavers. Pictures are posted of AFTER only, for some reason Yelp would not allow me to add my before's. Not much to show besides the incredible job they did. We made it a bit more simple and modern in the backyard. Trust me when I say... its 100% different and 100% amazing! Zach and his crew did one amazing job on the entire project. One they had to deal with the over the top OCD/OCPD person that I am. I asked a lot of them, made them change a few things, and they did it without a hitch. Zach remained professional at all times even though I know some of things I asked of him were frustrating. Zach new we were spending a ton of money to make one hell of an amazing backyard out of it. Zach and his crew did not disappoint when it came to the finish project. I was shocked at how poorly some of these landscaping businesses were run when we were ready to spend thousands of dollars working with them. I stumbled across a post from a neighbor about her friends sons company running a turf special, so I decided to get one more quote! Zac came out a day later, we were quoted on the spot with an official written quote only a day later. The quote was the most fair quote we received and nothing changed after the fact... zero surprises! They went out of their way to bring by turf samples so we could make a decision that this was the company we wanted to use. They were able to start within a few days of request and got the entire project done in 1 day. I absolutely LOVE my yard now!! I am so lucky to have found these guys and now I'll shout it from the rooftops. They were quick, ready and willing, very professional, and they do great work! It took them weeks to respond to emails, get diagrams resent, send correct info for the HOA. I wasn't in a rush but the entire process from start to the last warranty claim took from the beginning of June till December. The dates were also way to flexible on their side. Monday meant 'sometime this week' and "next few days" meant next month. Of course, they were very communicative about payment though.

I've contacted many gardening services here in Las Vegas, and I can tell you, coming from California, the difference is big.
