While wait times for getting an appointment at Greenspan has gotten longer the past two years (likely due to COVID) the service remains excellent. Recently, I needed an exam and had to get new contacts and new glasses. Would I have liked to have paid less, of course, but my insurance is what it is. I never feel rushed during my appointments here and they also have an excellent selection of lenses. Totally recommend Greenspan for your eyecare needs.

The contacts he gave me were always horrible. I tried telling him but he would just say my prescription is hard to match. However, this doctor took the time to check the SHAPE of my eyes. He is one of few eye doctors who look into your eyes via excellent equipment and can catch not only issues with your eyes but other diseases before you or your GP knows you are sick. Many eye diseases are neurodegenerative so catching eye issues early and coaching someone to stop progression through proven nutrition and supplements will also help people fend diseases like dementia, MS, etc. as well as blindness. Dr. Lane is also kind and patient in coaching patients to do all of the right things to have healthy eyes, mind and body. The key is that patients need to heed his advice. Finally, please disregard the comments about the office. People need to focus on the important aspects of medical providers!

I encourage everyone to think twice about going to this shady practice. The only reason I'm giving…read moreit two stars rather than one is because I eventually got the prescriptions I needed, but not without a fight. Several things stand out from my visit: (1) the place is undergoing renovation and looks awful; (2) the lack of organization is stunning, whether from the staff incorrectly calendaring me for the wrong time to the wait to be seen; (3) Dr. K is extremely unprofessional and leans hard into scare tactics (eg, don't ever buy online because the products aren't real or "do you want to die to save $100?!"); (4) the lenses I used during the exam were frequently smudgy, which makes it harder to see; (5) the doctor holds your prescription hostage pending a couple days review time, almost certainly to get customers to return and to buy from her (despite the fact I've worn contacts for 20 years without issue with my brand); and (6) perhaps most troubling of all, the woman at the desk asked me (and most likely everyone) to sign a form indicating I received my prescriptions even though my contacts prescription was held hostage. Go find someone else. The bar here is so low that it shouldn't be hard.
