Vision coverage through insurance has become so confusing and limiting to choice of covered providers. So it has been many years since I was happy and satisfied with the optometrist's expertise and customer service. So we are thankful to have found Oakland Vision Center. Dr. Barbara (Koslov) fit me into her evening slot (or maybe stayed late for me). I am new to the area and it was my first time seeing her, but she treated me like I was a long-time patient. She was very kind and very very thorough. She felt like it was only a cataract, but the sudden onset of my blurry vision concerned her and she dialed the phone right then and there after 6pm and called a colleague who agreed to see me first thing the next morning. It all ended up to only be the cataract, but I really appreciate how she followed through and kindly helped me.
