Most of all, I was impressed with Franky's work ethic, he puts his heart into representing his clients, which is a rare find in a realtor.

Thank you, Franky and Team!…read more If you are looking for a house in the DMV area, Franky is the perfect agent! HE IS THE PERSON WHO HELP US TO FIND THE HOUSE JUST WITHIN THE 2nd OFFER in NICE AREA! My husband and I met Franky at one of the open houses in Washington DC. At that time, we didn't have any idea about the home-purchasing process. Even Though we searched online, we still got lost since we didn't know what the first step was and what our priority was. Franky helped us to understand the overall process, and encouraged us to think about our future life to set the goal of home-purchasing. Even Though we were not his clients at the moment, he gave us a 1-hour presentation of the whole process with the pamphlet. When we decided to go with Franky, he tried his best for us to find our FIRST HOME with some of our considerations. Since both of us work full-time, he made house-tour appointments or meetings (regarding making offers) after work hours. After our offer was accepted, Franky and his team gave sufficient advice regarding everything, such as locking the mortgage, depositing, final walk through, and the settlement! It took only 6 weeks to move into the new home since we started to look at the house to buy. As you can see my name, I am a foreigner and the whole process seemed overwhelming for me. However, Franky helped my husband and I to relieve the stress by communicating with the selling agent and title company. (Oh, I heard that he speaks English as well as Spanish). If my friend who came from foreign country asks me to recommend any agent, I will recommend FRANKY and his team! I am writing this review in my new, cozy room, where I dreamed about since I immigrated here. I can convince that if you work with Franky, you will never regret.

Obtaining the services of a real estate agent is much more than "finding someone to sell your…read morehome". This is especially true if you are selling an inherited property as I was earlier this year. A good real estate agent will know the area, know the laws and rules and will help assess your home and get it listed and sold for a "good price". A great real estate agent is a counselor, a partner in your effort, someone who "has your back" throughout the process in addition to doing all of the real estate work. Philippa Main is an *outstanding* real estate agent and an even better person. My father passed away leaving a home in Woodbridge, Virginia - the home in which I grew up and which contained almost 50 years of possessions. I contacted Philippa in March of 2026 to discuss its potential sale even as the house was in significant disarray while I engaged in the slow process of cleaning it out and sorting through the many things my parents had accumulated over the years. When she visited the home, I looked around and threw up my hands. Philippa looked around and said, "we can make this happen." I sought her out specifically because she mentioned having expertise in sales of homes that are inherited - a particular niche that involves a delicate dance of handling family dynamics, wills, probate laws and determining what, if any, money should be put into renovations or improvements that will get a reasonable return on the investment. From our first conversation over the phone - which she took time to do in the middle of a busy weekend - Philippa was incredibly personable, easy to talk to and anticipated many of my questions and many of my concerns as we talked. By the end of our conversation, I felt like I was chatting with a friend who had expertise I needed. Over the following three months, she was a (rapidly-responded-to) text or phone call away as I navigated getting the house ready for sale. She helped outline a schedule and a plan to list the home. She connected me with a large network of trusted service providers from junk removers to contractors to painters to flooring experts from whom I obtained estimates and some of whom I contracted to help clear out the house and prepare it for sale. While she always reiterated that she would back any decision I made regarding the house, I always sought her counsel when making major decisions such as whether or not to spend money on renovations and, if so, which ones were most important. Of course, there were obstacles - some amusing, some less-so - but Philippa helped me handle each one with a confidence borne of having "seen it before". That is an incredibly valuable thing when dealing with a stressful situation. In the end, the home was listed in June and had nearly seventy showings in three days. The house sold for well over its asking price and after all of it I know some things: The home could have been sold by another agent. But few, if any, others could have been a partner in the process the way Philippa was for me. She was a trusted resource, a confidant, a person who knew when to inject humor into a situation and when helping me vent was what was needed - she understands people and the process of selling an inherited home in addition to being a brilliant real estate agent who knows the area and who knows how to get the job done. I couldn't recommend her more for ANY real estate work but, especially, if you face the task of preparing and selling an inherited property.

Cathy came to the meeting fully prepared with comparable info, and data. Cathy is experienced, knowledgeable and real estate savvy. We listened to her selling advice and how to price our condo for the market today and asked questions. I liked the fact that Cathy fully utilized social media to advertise and market our condo. Cathy is an excellent communicator. She will listen to you as a customer and what your expectations/goals are and will set forth to incorporate them into the sell. We were fully confident that Cathy was representing us for our best interest in the sale of our condo. She will work diligently for you to achieve success! Cathy and her assistants Undrah and Yvonne will keep you apprised of the entire process from start to finish. They are excellent on providing status updates with specific details and answering any questions you may have during the process. We were very pleased with Cathy and her staff. I would definitely refer her to my friends and family. We did refer her to my sister in law and they were pleased with their outcome as well. I picked Frank because he wasn't part of the old guard, the Realtors that believed in the old ways. He was coming out with Frnaklymls at the time, and it allowed me to do a lot of house hunting on my own time, right from home in the evenings with my wife. I don't have the time some Realtors assume you have to go looking at houses. With FranklyMLS I was able to do so much research. That's how I like to shop: online in my own time. But when I had questions or needed help he was right there to assist. I even used it again 6 years later to find my next house (in a different area, so Frank wasn't my Realtor --his suggestion was for me to find a local Realtor that knew the area). Sometimes my Dad will send me links to his Blog forgetting that I know Frank and if I hadn't already read the post, I certainly had plans to do so. Over the years I've gone back to just ask him advice, like "I'm thinking of downsizing and buying something smaller and closer to DC. What do you think about that plan?" He always gave me honest answers that struck me as going against making money. I'm not sure that if I were in his shoes I wouldn't have just said, sure thing, and helped the person pursue their plan. If you want someone with integrity, that isn't it just to make a commission and will truly have your best interests in mind while helping you find that home or sell your home you should choose Frank. If you want some that uses the latest statistics and trends, thoroughly researches it all, you should choose Frank.

We rented a unit in Parkfairfax managed by this property management company and their "property…read moremanagement" was a disaster. I experienced constant flooding and sewage leaking from the kitchen sinks (yep, 2 sinks), giant sized insects invading our space, decaying floor boards from water damage, 3 years of uninterrupted mold and mildew, the need for a dehumidifier requiring 4 buckets of water to be dumped daily, and the last stray was a bathroom ceiling leaks flooding the unit requiring a 1 month stay in the hotel paid for by my insurance and I still had to pay the rent for my unit. During those 3 years, I suffered terribly from respiratory problems for the first time in my life. No empathy shown by the leasing agent or landlord for the major and myriad inconveniences. Upon returning to the unit in addition to the floor repairs they used substandard contractors to paint the walls. During my stay at the hotel (on my insurance's dime, mind you despite paying the full month's rent DURING it's renovation) I was not notified that the walls would be painted until AFTER the work was done, nor was my artwork removed from the walls prior to painting. The substandard painters merely painted around my artwork. Essentially their substandard painting contractors sealed the damage free adhesive to the walls with the paint making the artwork impossible to remove without damaging the wall. Moreover, the substandard contractors also painted over the back door sealing it shut. Upon move-out, the property management company wanted to penalize me for the damage caused by their own substandard painters shoddy work, since there're still holding on to my security deposit. Avoid renting through this "property management" company at all costs
