I have been going to Dr. Fecht for about 10 years. He's great! No cracking, but uses several other, safer, methods, including Activator. He's helpful with at-home exercises for preventative maintenance, and has good explanations of anatomy to make it understandable. I never saw Dr Fetch but my experience with Anthony after leaving a message as a new patient was horrifying! He simply text me and asked for a photo of my insurance card with not even a return call. When I said that made me uncomfortable he called and tried to tell he it was going to a "secure" server (i don't even know the person I am talking to is at a real medical office with this type of unprofessional behavior. He then started asking questions like he was going to schedule an appointment for me asking information about my back; my message had clearly stated I have a vertebrae in my neck that causes issues. Then asked for my birthdate. When I told him August... he said "I need the numbers" After we completed his question he asked if I knew my co pay and asked me again to send a photo of my insurance card. I said again I was NOT comfortable texting things like that and I would just find someone else. He tried to again tell me how safe it was. When I again stated I personally had never been asked for my card until a visit and would just find someone else he hung up on me. Even in as much pain as I was in this unprofessional type of behavior was a sign the negative reviews I am reason are much more honest than the others. read more

I grew up going to chiropractors but stopped in my 20's as Id rather spend my money on adventure. As a result of the adventures I have sustained a number of injuries the worst of which is a torn L5S1. I went to Dr Fecht in tears & pain, not only has the therapy addressed the issue that brought me to him that fateful day, but issues that i have ignored for as far back as 20 years are now being resolved. I do everything in my power to avoid Doctors but a few weeks ago I woke up with the worst pain in my lower back. To add to that, every time I took a step I would feel shooting pain through my body. Dr.Fecht had me walking without the shooting pain in our first 30min session. I was still sore but just being able to walk without pain was amazing. I didn't read any yelp reviews before my visit and I am kind of glad I didn't. Some of these reviews would've scared me off. Yes, he is very particular about time and no, he doesn't have the latest gadgets and gizmos in his office but the man knows what he is doing. I cannot speak to the skill of dr fecht but what I can comment on is his treatment of me. He was exceptionally rude, condescending and made me feel like he was doing me a favor. I was late to the appointment because I was stuck in traffic. I acknowledged that I was late and I apologize profusely. I even offered to reschedule. He insisted we keep the appointment but kept making me feel really horrible about being late. He spent 5 minutes with me, interrupted me when I tried to explain my back problem. He claims I came in with my shirt ripped but he used an intense vibration thingy that I think ripped my shirt. When I called to cancel the appointment and explain why I was upset, the receptionist --who I think might be dr fecht himself-- took almost personal offense and yelled and me, told me I was making the whole thing up. Dr. Fecht is expertly skilled in trigger point release technique and a great chiropractor. I've seen many massage therapists who aren't as good at trigger point release as Dr. Fecht is and although painful in the moment, the relief it brings afterwards is wonderful! New to area. Mr. Anthony/Greg (actually the same person just as other reviewers described!). I requested to know what insurance he takes and he responded with a broad "We take ALL insurance" From professional experience, not all insurance companies cover chiropractic services.  When I requested to know what is the cost of a typical co-pay for his clients, he responded with "This is really a waste of time talking over the phone. Just come in and we can work something out" The conversation was a lot longer and filled with unprofessionalism but I don't want to digress into a longer review. I've never experienced a professional health office saying "This is a waste of time/we can work something out" More importantly, why would I (or anyone) want to leave my job to go to an office that *may or may not* take my insurance, and then possibly risk being sent a hefty bill by Mr. Greg/Anthony/Fecht. After literally years of suffering from back and neck pain Dr Fecht has got me on the road to healing! I've been to 5 different Chiropractors over the last 10 years and he is the only one that i believe can fix the problem rather than just make the pain go away until the next appointment. Dr. Fecht is amazing. Two weeks ago I couldn't even bend over after screwing up my lower back deadlifting. Within 3 sessions I had almost full mobility back with very minimal pain. I went through acupuncturists and chiropractors before him and none helped me as much as Dr. Fecht. He has saved my back, my summer, and put my mind to rest. The man is brilliant. Dr. Fecht offers an exceptional skill set. I've had chiropractic care since my late teens when I had a bad surfing accident. During the passing decades I've come to realize that truly excellent chiropractors are uncommon while mediocre ones abound. Dr. Fecht is in my top 4 most impressive chiropractors of all time. I've gradually learned that manual adjustment chiropractors (rack 'em & crack 'em) are simply not precise enough. Fortunately Dr. Fecht is an activator specialist who is "Advanced Proficiency Rated," is remarkably thorough and has also been an activator instructor. Dr. Fecht is the only chiropractor I've seen who includes physical therapy in his treatments. This is a multi modality approach of great benefit to patients. Normally chiropractors treat symptoms, not causes, thus the problems that contribute to subluxation (such as imbalances of muscle tightness & weakness) don't get addressed. Fortunately, to his patient's benefit, Dr. Fecht also excels in physical therapy. read more

The first time I went to see Dr Fecht I had wrenched my back working in a tree and I was literally crawling from the couch to the bathroom I was in so much pain. It was a Saturday and I was just looking for anyone to help relieve the pain. I found him on the Web and he was able to see me that day. He worked on my lower back and when I came home I felt so much better and within a day I was walking around again and was out of pain. Fast forward three years, and again I messed up my back and had been struggling with plantar fascistis and in severe pain so much so that I am having trouble walking when i first get up. I went to see Dr. Fecht about my back and mentioned the plantar fascistis and he got right in and took care of both problems. All I can say is that thanks to him I have a great deal of mobility back and again he has relieved just about all of my pain. When you first go to see him, he may seem a bit direct, but he is focused on finding your problem and making some progress on making things better, so that within the appointment time you will be able to feel things change. He is a solutions person and is focused on healing you. Though he will talk with you and carefully explain things when you ask he will spend time to completely show you what is going on in your body and really talks about things. But in his first appointment with you he wants to get right to it so that your time is not wasted and so that you can feel results. Unfortunately my experience here was less than desired. The chiropractor was unprofessional and disorganized. It was very low budget. One of the biggest problems I encountered was that there is no parking. I had to park across the street, and it was not convenient in the least. I went to this chiropractor because of location and the proximity to my house. I am very displeased with my experience, and frankly I was more stressed out leaving the office than before I arrived. Has horrible interpersonal skills. His office is a shared office with a ton of other businesses-not doctors-and he leaves his door open, which is uncomfortable. Also I totally agree with the reviewer that said he is also his assistant Anthony...I'm not sure why he does that but he's clearly taken some marketing classes. Perhaps they told him to say that and to use the word "we" when speaking of his business which seems to clearly just be him. It's just all a little creepy honestly. I threw my back out and was looking for a chiropractor to help get me better. Dr. F's methods were definitely helping but I couldn't keep affording to come in so I asked what I could do at home and he got very weird. At my next appointment he was telling me about another patient who was having trouble affording the co-pay, complaining about it-I guess he did not remember our conversation...When I asked another question, about having a conversation with my trainer when I was ready to work out-just so they were on the same page, he got super condescending and weird. It made me feel so disgusted, I stomped out of his office never to come back. He has no interest in working with people on a healing plan. It's his way or the highway so I found someone else who works with me, not against me, and doesn't make me feel icky and creeped out everytime I leave. Update 2017: Not only did Dr. Fecht call me and ask me to take my review down last year but now I've just been notified I got the below combative response from some cyber friend of his. Skip this doctor entirely. He wanted me to come back every 2 days for weeks, which was entirely unnecessary in my situation. I was just telling him I couldn't afford to do that and was there something I could do at home in-between visits or with my trainer to help. Terrible that I'm now being harassed on yelp about this awful experience again. Bottom line: Skip this guy and go see Sarah Schroeder down the street. She had me back to normal in a week and her masseuse helped me understand what I was doing that was causing the discomfort so I could fix it. I have gone to many different chiropractors over the years. Being from an athletic background and other wear and tear on the body, chiropractic is a must. What I did not realize is how temporary and inefficient the previous chiro's were. I can honestly say that this is the first and only chiro that I have gone to, that truly put me on a path to actual healing and less need of visits. I have been to many chiropractors over the years who have practiced a variety of techniques. Dr. Fecht's activator technique is a low-force method that is painless and immediately effective. I find the results last far longer than traditional manipulations and have resulted in my being able to maintain good alignment and be pain-free even if I have not been treated in a couple of months despite being bound to my desk. He has treated my wife for the last several years and is the only practitioner that has been able to effectively rehabilitate her multiple herniated disks in her neck and lower back. She has been to them all and always goes back to Greg. Dr. Fecht works with you to prescribe stretching and other activities that will support your specific alignment issues between visits. He can be charming, witty, compassionate -- and abrasive, particularly if you are late. I can appreciate that because he has a very busy schedule and multiple appointments per day. Be respectful of his time. Remember if you're not 5 minutes early then you're 5 minutes late!!! Stay away ! The first time I came, I had to fill a questionnaire wile he was on the internet in an empty office instead of asking me the questions. Then he lectured me about how I filled the questionnaire instead of asking for a clarification where needed. Then the session started with a lie he said he called my insurance, that the deductible was 1000$ (actually it's 3000$), and that it would be taken off the deductible (it was not, and still sits at 3000$ unchanged). I already new my insurance does not pay for any chiropractic session but I just don't like the fact that he lied in order to make the future expenses more "acceptable". He would then play for about 10 min with his toy gun (an impulse gun, think of a hammer to hit the bones and muscles) On a side note: this toy is what he calls the pain treatment, adjustment AND physical therapy for which one pays over 50 dollars every time. (Physical therapy is reimbursed by my insurance, should I go to PT ? I thought I'm paying for chiropractics) He would then let another 5-10 minutes pass, keeping you occupied with some stretching and bending wile he gets you a new appointment. The first time I thought that the moment is not so well chosen but said to myself that he must be in a hurry. But the next session was exactly the same: you stay dressed (I was wearing a thick leather belt that was clearly in the way..), he plays with his toy, you stretch and wile you are mentally occupied with the stretching he would try to "sell" you the next session, and so on. I had back pain, not because of an injury nor any trauma. So there was obviously something in the way I sleep, sit, walk that needs a postural correction. I am still amazed that he never tried to investigate in this direction like any health professional would have. As a disclaimer, I will add that I do not criticize the usage of the impulse gun, nor the chiropractic methods which have successfully treated countless cases, but the obvious way to extort money form those who walk into his office in hope of recovery. That and this weird Anthony... Why would he claim to have an assistant (Antony) when it's completely obvious that I would recognize his voice and way of speaking at the first sentence? there is no Anthony. He gave me the feeling that he does only want my money not my recovery. And when I told him that I'm very unsatisfied with his methods and especially not for such a price, he replied aggressively "You can't heal overnight" or " you're cheep with your health" trying to make me guilty of my own condition. I would reply this "Fecht, you're the one that's cheep with my health". EDIT: The mutually agreed price was 50 dollars which I paid at each session, but I found out today that he sent bills to my insurance for $255 per session (additionally to the $50 already paid and which do not appear in the sent bills) and the first session was charged twice, the same day ! Basically Greg Fecht charges $685 for two 20min of toy-gun massages. And I should mention that he urges me to pay by sending me TEXT MESSAGES ! In which he illegally reveals personal information about my health (what if the text arrives wile my employer can see my phone and a partial content of the message, like it happened at my last meeting ?) read more
