Went in on Black Friday to purchase a vehicle. The person I spoke with over the phone was fine. I'll withold people's names for now. Once I got to the store I spoke with another sales person who ended up selling me one of the cars I was looking at. I worked with him and another guy to complete the sale. They were all great, and easy to work with. My situation was unique, given I was from out of state visiting family in Indiana. Before I made any deal on a car I asked if it would be okay that I mail the title for my trade in once I return to my home state. They assured me that was fine. After agreeing on a price, I paid a $1000 deposit because the car I purchased had some scratches they agreed to fix before the sale. I would be able to return Monday to finish the paperwork and get the vehicle. I returned Monday with a money order to purchase the vehicle. At the bank it had slipped my mind that I had already paid a deposit, so I ended up getting a money order for more than I had left to pay on the vehicle. When I took it in we realized the error and they told me they would just write me a reimbursement check that I could pick up the next day. I went in on Tuesday to pick up that check and it "wasn't ready" but they promised they would have it ready the next day. Instead of wasting more time, I waited to go in until Thursday. When I went inside Thursday I encountered John. John came to speak with me and asked me about the title situation. I told him that it would be mailed when I got home the following Tuesday, as had been discussed verbatim before I made the purchase. John decided that instead of issuing me my refund check as promised, he was going to hold it hostage until he gets the title the following week. I don't have an issue with that agreement given the circumstances, but I had 1.) already been told I could pick up the check each of the past 2 days (and wasted time and gas driving back and forth to the dealership) 2.) he only had the leverage of the $833 he owed me because I accidentally over payed for the car John continued to try to get me to point out specific people who had made the agreement with me so he could chew them out instead of taking ownership and keeping his promise like a true leader would. Instead of pointing fingers at his subordinates I'm planning to bite the bullet and just send the title before I get reimbursed the $833 that they owe me. With that being said, this dealership doesn't deserve better than its 3 star rating when someone like John is calling the shots. read more

Just bought my second Hyundai, first one in Noblesville and now 5 years later At Hubler Hyundai in Muncie. Three stars for Noblesville and Five stars for Muncie Hubler Hyundai. After my experience in Noblesville I was totally surprised by my experience in Muncie. I have bought several cars in my Seventy years of life and this was the easiest and less stressful than any of the rest. Our salesperson Jonathan Carlson was so courteous and helpful. Helped us decide by bringing in the two versions of Hyundai we were interested in a placed them side by side and went through the differences to allow us to choose what fit us best. Dealing for price was also a good experience. They did not try to low ball me on the trade in like the last one in Noblesville did. I knew what my car was worth and they met it which surprised me. Jeoff in financing also worked hard to get the deal I could live with. Would definitely recommend if looking for car. read more

Recently purchased a 2021 vehicle from Hubler. When we first went to drive the car the salesperson told us that it had just come in, it had been through service where they had to air up one of the tires but it had checked out ok. After purchasing the vehicle and driving it home we came out to the tire being low almost completely flat. After communicating this to our salesperson he assured us if we brought it in to service it would be taken care of. We drove the vehicle back to the dealership (at this point we have literally driven the car home and then back to the dealership) and we're informed they would not be fixing or replacing the tire because there was damage to a sidewall and that was road hazard damage. After explaining there was a problem with the tire before we purchased the car the service department still refused to replace the tire quoting us $230 for a matching tire. The service employee worker was rude, arrogant and incorrect in informing us they are the "lowest priced tires in town", pointing out their sign in the lobby. We declined to do anymore business with Hubler and went across the street to discount tire where they replaced the tire with a matching tire and put a maintenance package on all four tires for $137. When our salesperson called to follow up about the vehicle he seemed amused at our experience and disappointment in their customer service. read more

Refused to write me up a trade in value because I was still vehicle shopping. The business manager told me to do it myself through KBB because he didn't want to be a part of that. Our salesman informed us right up front he didn't need to sell us a car, he would still be paid. Would give 0 stars if I could. read more

About 2 weeks ago my daughter's engine went out in her vehicle. Unfortunately, because she's a college student and was traveling on the hwy when the vehicle stopped, we had to have it towed back to Muncie where she attends college so that the vehicle could be in the same city. We had the vehicle towed to Greg Hubler Ford in Muncie. Dustin was the vehicle needed a new engine for which he gave me a quote of approx 6500.00. Of course the vehicle isn't worth that amount and I suggested that we put in a used engine, which lowered the price considerably to about 3300.00. It took about 2 weeks for the engine to be put into the vehicle, which I understood that and wanted the vehicle done correctly. However, Dustin told me that the engine that they would be replacing the vehicle with would have approximately 68,000 with a year warranty. When we went to pick the vehicle up once completed, Walker was the person that checked us out. No one was wearing a mask and he wasn't friendly at all, as a matter of fact to pay the amount of money that I paid, I would have thought there would have been a tad more customer service. When I confirmed if indeed the engine had what I was originally told, Walker told me the replacement engine had 97,000 vs the mileage I was told by Dustin. However, Dustin was on vacation. Walker wasn't able to verify the mileage because the service person was gone and again Dustin was out of the office, however Walker said he would have the manager contact me to confirm the actual mileage. I still haven't heard anything. Unfortunately the vehicle is back at the shop as my daughter was on her way home this weekend and the engine light came back on, we had the vehicle towed back to the shop. When my daughter called the dealership on Saturday to see what she should do with the vehicle, obviously she was upset, being stopped on the side of the hwy, she spoke with the receptionist who she indicated was rude to her. I called the receptionist back to explain to her what happened and I did tell her that I didn't appreciate her being rude since we've already spent so much money for repairs at their business. She didn't apologize, but did give me the name of a towing company (Northwest), they were extremely nice and said we could have a courtesy tow. Unfortunately, we were not in a position to have her car towed to our shop of choice since she was out of town, however a call back from the manager confirming the mileage on the new engine would have been nice given the amount that we paid...follow through goes a long way and courteous consideration would have been appreciated. read more
