These people run a fraudulent business. You ask for new parts and pay for them, and they take it upon themselves to send you used ones. They do not even get your permission and give you a proper refund for the difference till get caught defrauding you. I still did not get my refund for the difference even I caught them defrauding me. Adsit is a joke, I ordered a Transmission and Torque converter for my w126, it took several months to finally arrive, and when it did, the transmission was busted and upside down in a broken crate, and the torque converter was fully missing (which I understand was likely not Adist's fault) the problem came when I wanted it returned and replaced, there was a SEVERE lack of communication, but whereas while I was buying the transmission and parts, and sending them 4,000 dollars, they were certainly very helpful and communicative. But as soon as they had my money, they had no reason to speak to me any longer. After a few months, they only spoke to me once my bank sent them a charge dispute notice in the mail on my behalf. Due to the lack of communication, i wanted a full refund, which they tried their best to fight against, but eventually offered to have it "refunded", with a HUGE chunk of my money kept for "restocking" , despite the fact I know that they insured the transmission and torque converter, AND got all their money back, PLUS their transmission back, which they could rebuild, PLUS them trying to keep a massive chunk of my money. In the end, after 5 months of fighting with the help of my bank, I got back all my money, with my bank likely taking the loss for me. Please beware of this company, they have decent but overpriced parts from what I could see, but if you are ready to wait several months to get it, and likely have to deal with these uncommunicative baboons if there is the slightest problem, it might be worth checking out other mercedes part sellers. read more

I used Adsit to order a rebuilt automatic transmission for my vintage Mercedes-Benz. This company is very professional from front to back. The rebuilt transmission came to my mechanic very professionally packaged/shipped. The transmission looked like it was brand new rather than a rebuilt. Every nut and bolt used was brand new. The transmissions performs as it should. My mechanic shop was so impressed he wanted their information for future use. I originally liked Adsit Co because they have a great selection of parts for my old Mercedes, and unlike other parts suppliers they offer a downloadable catalog that you can print out and make wishlists from. However, I recently tried to buy refurbished chrome rims from them and had a terrible experience. Of the two I ordered, one came in bent. They immediately blamed UPS, though the box was in fine condition. It wasn't obvious the rim was bent until I had it mounted with a tire on the car. Their policy is to not pay any labor costs you might incur for faulty parts, and they wanted me to send this rim back before they would replace. That's kind of ridiculous because I'd have to pay again to get my tire remounted on the old rim and then wait. To make a long story short they did send me a new rim, but charged my credit card for it, and then the replacement rim turned out to be bent too. I got tired of screwing around and had the first bent rim straightened (it was better than the replacement rim they sent) at a cost of $138 bucks. I forwarded them the bill but they show no indications of paying for it and in general have been very stand-offish about the whole thing. What I would say is that for new parts these guys are convenient, though they don't tell you any shipping information when you order online. You need to call to get that info. For refurbished parts I would not recommend them at all as they don't seem to inspect anything for quality before shipping. read more

Unethical thieves!!! I ordered some replacement parts for my Mercedes ML through their online store. According to their "policies", the shipping charges would be added onto the order and charged to the credit card. Seems reasonable. When I got the invoice, it had a shipping charge of $19 for a UPS ground shipment to a commercial address. The UPS website quoted around $9. I called them to inquire about the charge and they told me that the shipping charge included their "handling" fee. At no point did I agree to pay for some BS "handling" fee. If they had stated it when checking out, then ok, I understand. But there's no mention of it anywhere on their site. When I politely asked Dean to transfer me to his supervisor, he refused and hung up the phone. Is it a wonder they have a D- rating with the Better Business Bureau? Hey Adsit, if you're reading this, as long as you're creating unauthorized credit card charges without the consent of the customer, why not jack up your "handling" fees to $50? read more
