I'm kind of surprised by how many negative reviews are on this dealership. I bought a vehicle here and have been treated with nothing but respect by the whole team. I have had to bring it in in one time to fix my air conditioner and they were quick to honor my warranty and got me in and out of the shop. Greg lair is not a good business dealership! I had a 9:30 appointment so when I arrived after driving 60 miles service manger told me to take it back to the dealership closer to me cause they were behind. We bought a truck from here 2 months ago. It has been nothing but trouble. They lie and say they fix things and they don't. They love to tell you "it is what it is" and leave it at that. Their word is garbage. I will NEVER do business with them again and warn every one else to choose someone else. Their "lifetime" power train warranty is not worth the used car you get from them. Bare minimal work with zero customer service. As an example, they informed us that the brakes were good and to spray WD40 on them so they stopped squealing. Here is the paperwork saying it, and it is currently in the shop with a MOUNTAIN of issues INCLUDING the brakes. STAY AWAY!!! read more

Lost key fob 1 and bought a replacement. I took it to them to get the replacement programmed. They programmed it to fob 3 instead of fob 1 so the driver memory features don't work. I asked them to fix the problem and they wanted to charge me again for the fob programming. read more

I was traveling through town from Las Vegas to Tulsa and my 2020 Sierra went into limp mode. I was really in a bind because I'm hauling a couple of horses I need to keep moving. Bought a truck back in 2013. Everything went great with Greg lair, no complaints about anything at all; until the most recent purchase this year. Also have a friend who made a purchase and feels the same way. Terrible all around. Told a noise is fixed in a barely used truck so I purchased it. Not a month later the noise is back and after the service dept examined "not much we can do on it. It's a truck so it's going to have some noise" meanwhile I was given a 2017 truck to drive during all of this. No sound or noise what so ever. Greg Lair went from myself and family's favorite GM in the area that we would recommend others to, to a place I wouldn't recommend to anyone. I can say the other GMC Buick dealership in town has a sales man that went above and beyond for me no questions asked, however I went with the truck from Greg Lair. Looking back, I wish I would've given the other a better chance. Ask for Tom, great guy. Here's only one of the instances from this recent purchase- While looking at the truck, I came back from a test drive and mentioned/showed how it made a noise it shouldn't have. The salesman, who I will not name out of respect, immediately says "I'm sure it's no issue. Not sure what it is but they'll fix it in the back. You ready to sign now?" Completely serious.. Noise was fixed and I signed a few days later. Just to drop it back off less than a month later for the same issue. Like I said, loved this dealership from the experience we had in 2013, however I doubt our upcoming vehicle purchase will be with them. read more

Made and appointment for the 3rd of July a week in advance only to get there and be told 'sorry we're all backed up we'll have to reschedule you' okay, fine they then schedule me for the 13th a week and a half later at 8 am. I arrive on time drop it off and start the waiting game. 30 hours later I call them to see if they can tell me what's wrong and quote me a price only to find out they're just now getting around to looking at it! Needless to say I'm not happy about that but fine I'll just need to arrange something for the interrupted work days( I'm a delivery driver and use my car for work)finally get the call and am quoted my price I show up to pick it up the 19th and go to pay only to find out they miss quoted me the price by almost 200 dollars! Over all I'm just waiting to see if the repairs they did stick but their service has left me deeply unhappy. read more

Service after the sale was awful. We purchased our car on a Saturday evening. We did not know the car had the engine stop / stop option on it that we did not want. We live outside of Lubbock TX. There are only a few times, we would ever have to stop for a long time. There only stop signs and one stop light on the route we travel to work. The stop / stop option turns off the engine for only a few seconds at stop signs, and then restarts it backup. There is not very much traffic where we drive. I can understand why a driver in a large metropolitan area would need this sitting in long traffic jams. In our case, this only causes the engine to quickly stop and start repeatedly every time we drive it. Cold starts are bad for an engine, and many cold starts are worst. In our case, this will only ruin the engine more quickly. When we test-drove the car, we did not drive the car on roads with many stop signs. The engine did not stop / stop, or we did not notice the engine stopping and starting. The stop / start option on the windows sticker is there, but is mixed in with the other engine option jargon at the end. It was not explained to us. We only noticed this when driving it home, after the dealership was closed. The dealership was closed the next day as well. We called Monday morning, on the President's day bank holiday. I explained we did not need this option and wanted to see if we could turn it off. They did not know of a way, but would check. We called back later that day and talked to someone in service, and found out there was not a way to turn it off. We asked if we could return the car and get one without the option. The car did not have many miles on it. We only drove it twice. I even offed to pay more if I needed to. I only wanted a purchase a car that was right for us and get the most out of the car over time. I called the salesman first. He said we needed to talk the general manger. The general manger said the paperwork was already sent to Fed-Ex, and cannot get it back. I know, if you call Fed-Ex, they will return a package that is still in their system. We called again and tried to explain, but then got the standard (after the sale) dealer response - "A Deals A Deal". We were transferred to someone else and they started reading the contract to us. I'm not a lawyer. We just got frustrated at the point. Nothing good was going to happen from our conversations with this dealership. I thought West Texas business acted differently than in large cities and other states. I was wrong in this case. This dealership acted selfish and treated me like yesterday's sale. They got their money and was done with me. I even offered to pay more to get this fixed. To me the money was not the issues. I really only wanted a car that was right for us. Now, we are trying to sell the car and buy a car that fits us. We will take a huge loss because of the greed and lack of morals from this dealership. read more

This place sucks the salesman are great at deceiving and making false promises. They say they stand behind their cars and they do until you sign the dotted line and stuff starts falling apart the next week and they won't do anything to keep their word. read more

I've dealt with dealerships across TX, OK and KS and the one closest to home is the worst. The sales reps are nice but the owner and sales managers making decisions are quite the opposite. They'll waste your time and lowball you on trade-in every time. In fact, on both occasions, my salesman apologized for how rude the owner and his managers were when I specifically said I'd be upset if I came in and their offer was a slap in the face and it was, both times. Went to help my mother in law purchase a GMC Denali, and had to be the worst customer service I have ever been around. Luckily they have nice vehicles, but if it was me personally buying the vehicle I would've had to walk out. The Salesman JP from the get go was snappy to my mother in law, then when I arrived just seemed to put him in a worse mood.
