The staff, both in the front office and during my procedures, were all courteous and friendly. They explained everything before they did it and educated me on products and treatment procedures without ever pressuring me to purchase anything. I didn't realize that the Groupon I had purchased didn't include a cleaning...but they were able to squeeze me in with the hygienist and provide that service as well! Since I don't have dental insurance and was paying out-of-pocket, they told me the cost of each thing up front. (Cleaning: $81 and Flouride: $18) At the end of my appointment, Dr. Llewellyn introduced himself to me and looked over my x-rays. He described himself as a "conservative" dentist and didn't recommend any major dental work. I'll continue to use Indy Smiles in the future and would recommend it to anyone needing dental services in Indy!

He talked to me like I was a child making snide remarks about how I couldn't bother to listen to him saying it doesn't matter what I want to hear and how I rolled my eyes at him. Which, yes. I did because I had no choice. He sat there and talked at me so defensively and unprofessionally. He did not respect or understand my needs or concerns. Somehow we were derailed so I even said to him, in an attempt to clear the air, that I wasn't trying to disrespect him but I just wasn't interested in talking about night guards, to which he made another snide remark about not listening to him and how I rolled my eyes. I'm not sure why he had to have such a strong and angry attitude towards my disinterest in a nightguard, but it was enough that I had no faith or trust in him or his office. I purchased their top tier dentures last year on my birthday 8 grand I went in on a Friday and by Monday I had my teeth pulled and was sent home with temporary dentures. I was completely ignored as I shook and cried scared to death in the chair as the dentist paid me no attention and talked about her weekend plans. I was sent home with no instructions and told to set up a new appointment in a few weeks. I had no idea what to expect. I lost 40 pounds over the next few months and spent massive amounts of money on glue to hold my teeth in. I regretted my decision but stayed hopeful it would get better. I was only given my top set so they did no good eating. I finally had enough and was able to make an appointment to see the next steps. My appointment was scheduled for 7 am I arrived excited to get some relief and comfort only to find out that they did not have a lab technician and wouldn't for at least a month. I received no call or anything to let me know I didn't really need to wake up that early on my day off or that I would need to find a different location to go to not to mention the planning scheduling and arrangements that I had to make to accommodate transportation. I was able to get a hold of Plainfield eventually and be seen by them. To say the least they didn't know what I had in my mouth or that I wasn't a new patient and I was going to be charged. After tears and lots of explanation they put a soft liner in and my temperature teeth were now more comfortable but I was told they couldn't see me because Avon was paid for my service and they were not. I was infuriated and felt so taken advantage of by Avon I was ashamed I had let them do this to me. When I got home I tried to call and complain but only got a recording that promised the opposite of everything I had been through. So now I have to go back to Avon to have my permeantto be made and hopefully they will eventually give me my bottom set as well. Before that my tooth broke off and it had to be fixed. They did it quickly. Plainfield that is. A week later I dropped them and they were gone broke to pieces. Silly me I assumed since they made my first ones in a weekend they could do that this time but oh no they told me it would be 3 weeks that's after I showed up for my appointment they had no one again to see me. I've lost 40 pounds now have no bottom teeth or top teeth at this point and I'd spend $8000 for the very best top-of-the-line. I've never had anything quality like that in my life. I have been coming out of pocket paying for root canals and crowns for my kids and I should not be doing this had Dr Booher been a diligent and trustworthy dentist. Do not recommend. He let my kids teeth rot and I am disgusted and appalled. Medical malpractice for negligence.

The appointment was super simple. She showed me a kit and took a lot of photos of my teeth. She of course asked me to pay for the program. I declined and Whitney wasn't pushy at all! Before the appointment, I spoke with the doctor about modifying one of the procedures to better accommodate my son's needs. She was incredibly understanding and assured me that they could absolutely make that adjustment. Unfortunately, the first hygienist was unable to complete the procedure, and another hygienist made me feel as though the accommodation I was requesting was unreasonable and that I was causing my son unnecessary stress. As his mother, I know my child's needs, triggers, and limitations better than anyone, so those comments felt dismissive and insulting. Thankfully, Kacey stepped in. She had worked with my son before and immediately approached the situation with patience, compassion, and understanding. She took the time to meet him where he was, handled him with such care, and successfully completed the procedure without adding to his anxiety. Most importantly, she treated both my son and me with respect. As a parent of a child with special needs, finding healthcare professionals who are willing to listen, adapt, and provide individualized care means everything.
