I would recommend Dr. Miller at Renew Dental Arts to absolutely everyone. There's not a bad thing at this office. First off, the space is absolutely beautiful and filled with local art. There are a variety of comfort items available, ie lip balm, blankets, water, aleve, etc. Once you get in the chair, there is a TV placed on the ceiling that you may watch with head phones while getting your cleaning/treatment. Even more important is joe excellent the staff is. Each person I interacted with was incredible and knowledgeable. The hygienist was happy to answer my numerous questions about things. Dr. Miller was outstanding. I've never had a dentist spend so much time with me. Also, he gave me actionable feedback for things I can do to improve my dental health, none of which was an expensive treatment. I have been going to Renew for a couple of years now and I am continuously impressed by the service and technology used by Dr. Miller. Every time I leave the office, I am excited to tell someone about my experience. I've had a filling done with a laser and a crown made while I waited with a 3-d printer...how cool! The office is very clean, modern, and welcoming. The staff are all excellent. There are TVs with Netflix in each room. I moved to Fall Creek Place recently and decided to try a new dentist closer to my house... I couldn't be happier! The office is very modern. They have you fill out your check-in info on a computer in a private room.. no endless paperwork in the lobby like old-school offices. As soon as I walked in, they gave me a full tour and made me feel like I'd been going to them for years. Madison was my Hygienist and she was amazing. Knowledgeable, made good conversation, walked me through everything and made practical suggestions for better dental health. Dr. Miller was also very good. He introduced himself and seemed legitimately interested in my dental concerns. I got the feeling at my previous dentist that they were trying to sell me services I didn't want or even need. I did not get that feeling at all with Dr. Miller. I'll be bringing my whole family here from now on. Oh and they give new patients a really nice gift bag full of goodies! read more

I am a 27 year old female with no prior history of teeth or mouth issues. I have never had a cavity and take care of myself. I went in for a basic cleaning to Renew Dental Arts because of the good reviews and convenient location to my office. I have a family dentist I grew up with on the north side which is not as convenient, so I decided to give RDA a try. I grew up having orthodonture: spacers, expander, braces x2, and now a retainer I wear regularly. I went to a dentist regularly in Nashville, TN for 7 years that never expressed any concern for my dental health or well being, as well as my family dentist that I saw 1 year ago. Not only did I not get a basic teeth cleaning in the 90 minutes I was there, I left with less than trustworthy suggestions on what I "needed" for my teeth and mouth. Dr. Miller suggested on my first visit that I needed a mouth surgery to remove bones from my mouth, a tongue clipping procedure (???), 6 sealants (although no history or current tooth decay) and specific orthodonture work for an expander to expand my mouth. Before even leaving the office or having processed everything that just happened, they immediately wanted to put in a work order for the oral surgeon. Naturally, as a person with no prior dental issues, this was traumatizing and alarming. After receiving the X-Rays, I sent them to my family dentist that has been around for over two decades. The doctor called me immediately when I passed along the notes and suggestions from RDA and explained in full detail WHY I did NOT NEED any of the procedures suggested by RDA. I have never written a review on Yelp, but I thought it was important to share the unnecessary suggestions I received from this office. Those are large financial choices and I did not feel like my best interests were being considered To other people that are considering coming to this office, you should be smart in getting a second opinion on any major procedures they say you "need." They do have a very nice looking and clean office. The staff is friendly. But this was not a great experience for me. read more

I had a great experience at Renew yesterday. Patient comfort seems to be their top priority! Crystal, one of the dental hygenists, answered all my questions in detail and was very patient when I struggled with the xrays. Her calm demeanor made me feel very comfortable and relaxed. Dr. Miller was very thorough and listened to me when I shared what I was looking for as far as procedures. Often dentists will be very pushy when they suggest new procedure but that's not what you'll find with Dr. Miller and his staff. I've had problems with my wisdom teeth but I'm not ready to take them out. Crystal was very understanding and shared some suggestions on how to take care of them when I mentioned I wasn't ready to get extracted yet. 10/10 would recommend. I can't recommend this place enough! They truly get to know you and remember you every time you call or come in, which I love. They are incredibly thorough and personalize treatment to your needs. I always leave feeling confident that my teeth are clean and healthy and they always have my best interest in mind. I saw Dr. Miller in January 2023. I showed up with a pain in one of the upper teeth. Despite the root canal (performed by an endodontist not by Dr. Miller) the pain was not abating. Dr. Miller sent me to his colleague for evaluation to see if an extraction of this tooth is needed. His colleague decided otherwise. I was still in pain but Dr. Miller explained to me the root of this pain which sounded reasonable (now I know he was wrong about it). 3 months passed and I was still in pain, meanwhile Dr. Miller came up with a treatment plan. It was not a treatment plan on how to address my pain but rather how to improve my smile. The cost of this plan was $20,278.35 (plus some extra money for his colleague). I got a second opinion about this plan, and I am glad I did because most of these procedures were not necessary. I wish I had moved on to a different dental provider quicker. It was a huge waste of my time, because I could have been pain free faster. And yes, Dr. Miller has very modern equipment but in my case it didn't make a difference. read more

Better late than a never reply. I really enjoyed my experience with Dr. Miller and staff. Moved to Indy late last year and hadn't seen a proper dentist in the last few years. Setting up the appointment through e-mail was painless and my questions were responded to. Great communication reminders and Saturday availability. The office is cozy and the pre-cleaning went smoothly. Dr. Miller responded to my concerns and laid out the results in a clear manner. The office is very clean with modern touches, the staff are all very friendly and helpful, and Dr. Miller takes time to explain everything about your care. As one who typically avoids the dentist to the best of my abilities, I can safely say this is one dental office that isn't terrifying or compels me to avoid them. In fact, it is quite the opposite. I felt very welcome upon my first visit and every experience after has been equally warm. The hygienist was wonderful at explaining what she was about to do as well as the meaning of her findings. Dr. Miller was pleasant, informative, and very present. As in, I didn't feel as if he was checking off the box of "saw patient #983." He gave me his attention. I didn't feel lectured, which was a new & nice experience. The online appointment request was easy. The text reminders are great. Even the paperwork all being electronic was a pleasant surprise. I chose this office to receive my dental care when I moved to Indy after reading all the positive reviews online. Unfortunately, I did not have the same positive experience. I made an appointment and took PTO/blocked my work schedule to make sure I had ample time as they said it was going to be about 1.5 hours since it was my first appointment. I had a vacation planned the week before in which I did not have service. I got back the day before my appointment thinking everything was good to go. I had a long day at work and looked at my phone around 9PM once I got home (I am a therapist and am with patients all day and was unable to look/use my phone throughout the day). I noticed I had received a text from Renew saying that if I did not actively confirm my appointment by 5PM it would be cancelled (note that I had not received any other text message before this regarding confirming my appointment). Again, this was the only text I had received up to this point. No call, nothing at all. I quickly called their office and left a message explaining my situation, expecting them to call when they got into the office. I received no call back. My appointment was at 7AM and figured they may not have actually cancelled my appointment and/or may not have filled the appointment in that short period of time so I drove to the office before 7AM. To my chagrin, they had cancelled and gave away the appointment I had booked months in advance. I am extremely frustrated at this point, as now I have taken 2 hours of PTO to have my appointment cancelled on me. I will not be making another appointment with Renew as this seems like unprofessional practice, and suggest Renew review their procedures for appointment confirmations. read more
