The online hours clearly state that the business is open until 4 p.m. on Saturdays so I ventured out with my husband to look at options. Upon arriving at the store we were met at the door by Ben who was extremely rude to me and my husband and was refusing to let us in because he advised that appointments are required on Saturdays after 2... Note.. the time was 1:45 (I made point of the hours posted online). After I expressed that my husband is in a wheelchair and we rarely get out of the house he reluctantly and with much complaint about how he can't fix the hours online and it's not his problem, agreed to allow us to only stay a few minutes. He advised he did not have time for questions or discussion. After he unlocked the door he then proceeded to complain about moving a small side table to accomdate my husband's disabilitiy (even though it's not my husband's fault he is in a wheelchair). At this point I was very frustrated but for my husband's benefit I managed to stay so we could view the theater set up. During this time, of a short 3 minute demo because Ben said he needed to get home to watch UT play, Ben "President" insulted my husband, when I asked a question regarding some information I researched online Ben said, I quote "Listen to yourself that is the stupidest question anyone could ask", refused to give us literature to review on the products so we could make an informed decision as the consumer, and made me feel as though my business was not as valuable as he continually kept bragging about his customers that bring more value to his time with their larger high end purchases... they are millionaires and buy equipment that is 60k plus. I am completely and utterly taken back at the lack of professionalism, lack of compassion, and the desrcimnination we faced at the sound room on state of Franklin in Johnson City. I will never buy from this company and I surely will not recommend anyone to visit this business as it's poor service and Ben's unprofessional attitude is highly unacceptable.

After 10-15 minutes no one had offered to assist me, and the personnel who were helping others never bothered to even acknowledge my presence. Not even a "Sorry sir, I'll be with you in a moment." I stopped an elderly Best Buy women with grey hair and explained my discontent, politely. She replied "Sorry" and then went out the front door and got in her car and left. Well I guess Best Buy is making so much money that customer service is no longer a issue for them. After reviewing all the very poor comments about Customer Service her on Yelp, it appears Management could care less. Your experience may be different, but I doubt it.

No one came to speak to us the entire time we were there. Went home and placed our order online. Since we have Total Tech, installation is complimentary. They scheduled us two weeks out from purchase to delivery/set up. However, when that day came there was some snow falling (barely stuck to the grass but not on the roads nor walkways), the third party delivery company cancelled our delivery. Now we have to wait two more weeks for our new refrigerator to be delivered/installed. Seeing all the low reviews this location should change its third party affiliations. We've shopped a Best Buy for many years and purchased many devices, tvs, and accessories here because of their selection and prices. Not sure we will continue to do so.

It's either poorly stocked or being used as a loading dock for other departments. The only time I've seen it cleaned up was when cooperate people were walking around inspecting... go figure Otherwise it's always trashed. One time I was trapped in between some pallets and a bunch of carts and employee had put whenever I went in to get some men's running shorts. I had a fun time climbing my way out. lol. the regular (non seasonal) employees are always nice.

I've had several vehicles customized since then, (Lexus, Audi, F-250) and have gladly driven to JC from Kingsport rather than settling for Dashboard.
