    3D 24 week ultrasound

I am shocked to see the recent bad reviews on here as I had such a great experience!! I had a terrible experience with another mfm in the valley just being super rude and not nice and asked my ob to refer me to dr devore as I had found him from reviews. They got me in two days after my call for a second opinion on my anatomy scan and everyone was so nice! I live in tarzana and thought his office was here but he was only working in Pasadena at the time but I made the drive for 4 appointments over almost 5 weeks. He found the issue right away, was very informative, I got 3D images of my baby and when it was the end of the road he was very blunt with me in a nice way I felt informed and prepared! I lost my son at 25 weeks 10/21/22 due to severe IUGR and CDH but will be trying again soon and plan to be back to see the team here!

My wife and I went to see Dr. DeVore upon recommendation from her previous OBGYN. It wasn't absolutely necessary but was an added measure to check for any genetic abnormalities in our baby that cannot be detected by the traditional 2D ultrasound. Dr. Devore specializes in fetal diagnostics using 2D, 3D, 4D, and color Doppler ultrasound. He has extensive education in the field and has published several articles on identifying congenital heart defects using this technology. The office has a brochure with detailed information on his background. It's quite impressive, but this is one of those cases where too much knowledge and information can be bad. Our first two visits were actually quite good. The first visit was impressive because they did a complete 3D ultrasound and provided us with a DVD and a picture. The technology is impressive. Just take a look at this photo of our baby when she was 12 weeks old: http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/greggory-devore-fetal-diagnostic-center-pasadena?select=EGG895V1fOKr6-6wClEMhg#EGG895V1fOKr6-6wClEMhg The second visit happened about 6 weeks later and they provided us with genetic counseling from the State. There's an agent from the State that comes in to conduct interview with both of the parents and ask detailed background information for any type of health issues on either side of the family. Again, this was helpful. We were lucky to find there were no abnormalities with the fetus. Subsequent visits started to get worse. One thing I noticed was the overall attitude of the staff and the doctor. They just seemed somewhat nonchalant and cold, nothing like the enthusiastic response we got on our first visit. The worst part happened around 27 weeks into the pregnancy. Dr. DeVore mentioned the fetus was too small and requested my wife to take two weeks off work and to be on complete bedrest. This seemed rather excessive as there were no other issues with the fetus. The heartbeat was strong and all blood work came back normal. The fetus was at 2 pounds 4 ounces at this time. We did some research online and this seemed normal. Even Babycenter lists healthy weight at 1.93 pounds at 27 weeks. http://www.babycenter.com/average-fetal-length-weight-chart Since he's suppose to be the expert in this field, we just took his advice and my wife took the two weeks off from work. This caused undue stress as coordinating all the paperwork with work, the State, and the two doctors was a nightmare. To make matters worse, Dr. DeVore insulted my wife by asking how her English was. I guess he wasn't sure if she knew enough English to understand what he was going to tell her. My wife is Chinese and I'm Korean so we always speak to each other in English. We spoke English to each other when we were in his office so I'm not sure where he got the impression her English wasn't sufficient. Dr. DeVore may have the knowledge on fetal diagnosis but he doesn't have much people skills. When you're dealing with pregnant women emotions are high and every little thing can set them off so he shouldn't add insult to injury by asking questions like "how's your English?" In my opinion, the whole thing seemed like a lame excuse to get us to come into his office more frequently so he can milk our insurance money. Even after the baby weight was close to where he wanted and there were no other problems, the office kept scheduling us for follow up appointments every three to four weeks, going all the way up to just a month before the due date. Even if there are any issues found month before the due date, what good is it going to do? It's too late anyway. We started getting suspicious about their intention which is why we just stopped going to this doctor and dropped the OBGYN for recommending him. We ended up switching to a new OBGYN just a month before the due date and it was one of the best decisions we ever made. I have a separate review for the new OBGYN. She also thought the two weeks bedrest was excessive and said there's not much you can do to change the weight of the baby in two weeks. You can read more reviews about Dr. DeVore on sites like Rate MD: http://www.ratemds.com/doctor-ratings/133960/Dr-Greggory-Devore-PASADENA-CA.html You can judge for yourself but we certainly would not go back to this doctor for future pregnancy. By the way, our baby was born November 8, 2012, and weighed in at 7 pounds 11 ounces.

We absolutely LOVE Dr Devore and his staff. I am not sure what the other reviewers are talking about.... Maybe he was caught on a bad day? Anyways, he was recommended/referred by our Obgyn Dr Kohn (who we also LOVE) for First Trimester Screening. We waited about 30minutes in the waiting room, which 10 of it was me filling out all the paperwork. Lady at the front was nice and seemed very busy with the phone ringing, copying insurance cards, and organizing loads of paperwork. The waiting area is very nice, with plush couches, tons of magazines and TV. Once brought into exam room, nurse was very friendly and explained was appt was about and going to entail. Rooms are very nice and those exam tables- holy crap they are comfy! New, leather and wide! It was great. We waited maybe 5-10mins before being seen by Doctor. He came in, shook our hands and had some small chit chat before starting ultrasound. He took many great moments to explain what part he was looking at and that everything looked good with the baby- "see here is the heart, checking all 4 valves and everything looks great. Here is the brain you can see the two lobes." And so forth. Little did I know we got a long sheet of ultrasound 3D pictures and. DVD! What?!! I was sooooo excited! He then explained the two blood tests we could get and what they test for. I asked a few questions about the abnormalities that they screen for and he answered clearly and professional (no attitude). Dr Devore ended the appt with chatting about how he has a great relationship with my Obgyn Dr Kohn. Really felt good to know that they are in great contact. Usually specialist don't know the main doctors. We got the advanced blood screening test which also confirms gender. Nurse came back in and took my blood. I have tiny veins, which I warned her, and she called in "reinforcements" as she called it. Haha! Another nurse came in and did my blood draw quick and pain free. I left the appt feeling great and confident with this doctors examination. I look forward to seeing him at my Second Trimester Screening. I totally recommend Dr Devore to other pregnant mamas. **Got results 5 business days later. Having a GIRL and no abnormalities found. Yea!

My munchkins head at 12wks. Great quality ultrasound and they also give you a free DVD of the entire thing.

The best. Ive been coming here for years and im still very happy with my experience here. I walked…read morein today (its a Monday today) at around 11am and there were only like 3 people in there with me (only 1 when I walked in then 2 or 3 more while i was waiting). I was scared it wouldnt be the same anymore for me when I switched out insurances to my EPO insurance with my job, but when I called they easily told me they accepted it without even having to run anything and when I got there the wait was extremely fast, the process was extremely simple, the place was extremely clean and with nice aesthetics, and Jessica the NP I saw this time prescribed me exactly what I hoped for and needed (she didnt just give me basic amoxicillin, she went above and beyond prescription-wise to cover whatever possible current bacterial sickness it was i have (bad cough for over a month now) by going a step above and prescribing augmentin and im extremely happy with that decision because 1) she actually looked at my history and asked me what autoimmune condition I have and when I told her one of them is sjrogens (yes I have multiple lifelong autoimmune conditions now induced from prior years of intense stress, I came out with several long term conditions that affect me ever since some intense periods of stress for several years from like 2016 and onwards) she said the augmentin would be less drying for me so I really appreciate that she looked at all angles and initiated taking this into consideration, and 2) it will cover much more strains than pure amoxicillin which will prevent me from taking an antibiotic that may not kill what I have and we all know that taking antibiotics that wont do what it needs to do causes a whole other bunch of unnecessary problems, so im glad she wasnt stingy/playing it too safe or basic with the prescription like how alot of other providers may be at times) and I quickly left with exactly what I needed. They also have Xray machines there in case you need any diagnostics like that and the only ones they dont do is XR skull ot XR abdomen. My copay only ended up being $15 and im so so so freaking glad I have a place i can still go to now for a great urgent care experience if I ever need to even after the stress of switching out of my insurance to another one, so im super relieved and appreciate Advanced Urgent Care of Pasadena so much. The girl that picked up the phone was super sweet (i love that she would call me Hun hahah and she was so helpful and nice, she also would initiate giving me important info that would prevent potential headache that could be avoided too like telling me that they would close earlier today at 3 because of memorial day which i appreciate), the guy at the front was also super nice, Oscar the XR tech who took my vitals was nice, and so was the other sweetheart who also escorted me out of the room (another nice girl, I think she had glasses on). I didn't even have to do anything for checkout. It was the fastest visit ever and I got 100% what I needed. When I walked out it was only like noon sharp but I will say that it got way busier between the time that I walked in at 11am till when I walked out at noon. The waiting room was about at least half full when I left, so im guessing maybe like 6+ people, but still looked quite manageable and like i said the place is so nice the wait just doesnt FEEL long even if it does end up being a little longer. They are fast, efficient, clean, the providers give you what you need, and most of all, they easily have accepted all my insurances even after switching to EPO. Went to the pharmacy after to pick up my med, super cheap, like $6 for the augmentin. Even cheaper than my prescription nasal spray !! Lol. Thank god for this place

I'm leaving this review based solely on my interaction with Nurse Practitioner Jessica Karaguezian…read more Our interaction lasted less than 10 minutes, during which I briefly shared my symptoms and simply requested two tests. In a condescending tone, she berated some of my personal history regarding my visit which felt highly uncalled for given she knows nothing about me and it was completely irrelevant to my visit. When I received the bill, she had submitted CPT code 99204, a high-level code designated for moderate complexity decision-making and typically associated with 45-59 minute visits. This seemed quite excessive for asking for two routine tests, nothing complex. To me, this felt like significant overbilling for a brief 10-minute visit. Using a code such as 99203 fit the description of the visit much better based on both complexity and time (but I guess lower codes don't charge as much). Had I not disputed it, I would have been stuck paying the difference from my copay. Thankfully, the billing department, who was beyond helpful, and the attending physician made it right and corrected the charge for me. Both of them deserve five stars. If I need to return, I will make sure to request anyone but Jessica.

WOW! HAVE THINGS IMPROVED!…read more I had originally posted this review in 2025: "People were nice....test was flawed; had to have a repeat of Needle Biopsy redone at, City of Hope, 2 weeks later. Won't go back. This is part of same company (RADNET) that's taken over the Jim & Eleanor Randall Breast Center." THINGS HAVE REALLY, REALLY TURNED AROUND! I was encouraged by my doctor's nurse, to give them another chance. Went back yesterday. Cannot give enough praise: the service, attitude, helpfulness, encouragement. Staff was understanding, attentive, friendly and thorough. Would now highly recommend to any woman for annual tests! Thanks to the person(s) responsible for the wonderful turn-around!

I am very dissatisfied with my overall experience with RadNet Imaging…read more I originally scheduled my MRI at the Montebello location for July 29 at 10:30 AM. However, due to a power outage, I received a last-minute call informing me that my appointment had to be moved to the Pasadena location. This was extremely inconvenient for me. The Pasadena location is much farther from where I live, and it took me almost an hour to drive there. In addition, my appointment was scheduled for around 6:30 PM or later. I arrived early and noticed that there were no other patients waiting, so I did not understand why my appointment had to be scheduled so late. I had previously asked whether an earlier appointment was available and was told that there was none. I completed my MRI. Before leaving, I specifically asked the staff at the front desk how long it would take for the report to be completed, and I was told approximately 7-10 business days. It has now been two weeks, and my report is still not available. My specialist has already requested that the report be expedited, but there has still been no response or result. I have also personally called to follow up, without any satisfactory resolution. Overall, I am extremely disappointed with the scheduling, the inconvenience of being transferred to a much farther location, and especially the delay in receiving my MRI report. Medical imaging results are important for patients who are waiting for their doctors to determine the next step in their treatment. I expected better communication, efficiency, and follow-up from RadNet Imaging.

Terrible experience and poor service…read more I went to my orthopedic doctor appointment today and brought the MRI CD from this DMG location with me. My orthopedic doctor told me the CD was empty and that there was no report on the disc at all. He suggested that I go back to DMG to either ask for a refund of the $15 fee or at least get a printed copy of the report. I arrived at DMG around 2 PM. Unfortunately, the staff members were not very helpful or friendly. They simply told me to sit and wait while they checked the issue. I had another appointment at 3:30 PM, so after waiting for about 30 minutes with no update, I had to go back and ask what was going on because I didn't want to miss my next appointment. They told me they were making a new CD and that I needed to give them time. I explained again that I had another appointment at 3:30 PM, but they just kept telling me to wait. Eventually, they gave me a new CD, but honestly, I didn't want to risk another problem. So I asked if I could also get a printed copy of the MRI report in case the CD still didn't work. The staff member initially told me they don't provide paper copies. I was confused because clearly they are able to send the report to my family doctor, so why can't I, as the patient, get a copy of my own report? After going to the back office, they finally gave me both a new CD and a printed copy of the report. But honestly, why is asking for my own MRI report treated like I did something wrong? I was sitting there waiting for over an hour for the CD after the MRI screening in March 2026, and ended up they gave me an empty CD? Does it make any sense?

At first file a dispute with your health care company, second file a complaint with California Department of Health and Management and finally file a dispute with your credit card for a different charges as I did.
