I don't know why it took me so long to order pizza and other items from here. I've had their fettuccine Alfredo before, but that was all. The pasta e fagioli soup was perfect. The pasta was al dente and the beans were soft and delicious. That shows incredible attention to detail and I loved it. I'm ordering this every time we order from Gregorio's. The pizza was delicious. I ordered a sausage, pepperoni and ricotta. The crust was chewy and tasty, the ricotta? Best I've ever tasted. No mealy/grainy texture I usually get elsewhere. I wondered if the ricotta is made in-house. I usually have a love/hate with pizza. I'll crave pizza, then order and eat some, then regret it because the calories and fat didn't feel like they were worth the splurge. Gregorio's pizza? I felt none of that pizza regret. This was the first time in a long time I've eaten pizza, enjoyed it, and did not regret "wasting calories" on it. It was that delicious, and so worth it. The Fettuccine Alfredo was creamy, rich, and so satisfying. My husband and I shared that because the portion was so generous. Anyway, I now cannot bring myself to ever order pizza anywhere else because of Gregorio's perfect pizza. Thank you so much for a fantastic meal. One of the best Italian restaurants I've eaten in for a long time. I had a branzino special and I was served the whole fish, sizzling on a platter. It was sublime. The service was friendly and prompt. Our waiter was a delight...he even bought us dessert...a delicious Italian ricotta cheesecake. We will definitely return! read more

Got a medium Quatro formaggio pizza with meatball. Paid extra for the meatball so slightly a disappointing that some slices only have one small piece. I also ordered a Pepsi that did not come. Called and they quickly refunded me. Delivery took a little over two hours and after the time they said it would be delivered. More accurately, 4.5 stars. Due to COVID-19, mostly outdoor seating, but the evening we went had nice weather and added to the very pleasant experience. Our server and his trainee were a pleasure and overall can tell that the entire staff works as a team to help each other. Not sure what I was expecting coming here since I don't live in this area, but the food far exceeded my expectations. I guess I should've been clued in when I saw a nonstop flow of cars coming for curbside pickup... it seriously did not stop. We got the pear walnut arugula salad, Caesar salad, antipasto salad (amazing), calamari which was actually one of the best I've had, buffalo wings which were very tasty, and mussels in a butter garlic white wine something or another that was so good we could've drank it. Although probably not the best idea to do so, so we ended up dipping our calamari and garlic knots/breadsticks in it! We couldn't even finish what we ordered and I did want to try the pizza, but simply didn't have room for it. I'll have to figure out a reason to make my way out here again sometime! read more

The food is good. Always ready on time for pickup. When we eat at the restaurant they know us and are so friendly. It feels like a neighborhood place. Love their sauce that come with the breaksticks. We have tried many of the menu items and they are consistently good -- and often, large portions and we love the leftovers the next day. Look this place has pretty good food and hardworking people. But they don't know how to manage their flow. When we order take out, we have to order at 5 to get our food by 7:30. No joke. They are so overwhelmed and it doesn't seem like there is any proper and calm management to help the operation. In the end, if you never get your food or end up getting after two hours, it doesn't matter. Everyone ends up super grumpy and it seems like it can all be corrected with some proper management. read more

Hubs and I found Gregorio's after hiking one day & vowed to order next time we wanted takeout. We enjoyed it so much, we actually ordered 2x in one week. The Fettucine Bolognese is AMAZING! The little bit of cream sauce just makes it - it's dreamy. I've had both a sandwich & spaghetti and meatballs from them! Very tasty, delivered warm, the fries were still crispy. Love Gregorio's. We have been coming to this establishment for years. To our family, this restaurant is the best of what an American, honestly run, small business is all about. The attention to detail is in everything they do, from taking orders on the phone to seating you and checking on you every few minutes. We told our server that may wife and I will probably share a pasta. Next thing you know, our waiter brought it nicely proportioned in separate plates. I've been to Gregorio's plenty of times and each time it's been 5 stars! Whether it's been take out or dining in, I can't ever complain! The fettuccini bolognese is by far my favorite and it did not disappoint this last time. I had my wisdom teeth plus 2 other teeth pulled 5 days prior to my order so needless to say I was starving by the time I ordered from Gregorio's and their pasta was about all I could manage as far as chewing went and boy did it hit the spot. Soooo good! A huge portion, seasoned perfectly, pasta cooked just right with lots of sauce and ground veil too. There is another Italian place nearby that offers the same thing I get here and Gregorio's definitely wins, hands down. Their carbonara is also incredible! Again, beats their competitor by a mile on that dish too! Oh and their sweet red sauce for dipping their breadstick in is a total game changer! It's delicious (I like my red sauce a tad sweet tho!) Ordered a pizza to be delivered from Gregorio's Bethesda. This was the first time we've ordered anything from Gregorio's Bethesda (or any other location) and, although we've heard such good things about them and have wanted to visit their Bethesda location (which is closest to our home), we have not done so. Boy oh boy, are we glad we decided to dine on Pizza this evening and are we ever glad we chose Gregorio's. Alexis answered the phone and from the moment i heard her cheery voice and friendly, polite manner, i knew things could only go up...and they did. The ordering experience (with Alexis) was so very pleasant and relaxed. She may have been busy but she didn't pass that stress on to me. She was patient, answered all my questions and made certain she had all the correct information regarding name, address, order details and payment. She informed me the pizza would arrive between 45 minutes and 1 hour from the time we hung up. That's exactly what happened. 45 minutes later our pizza was delivered and it was fabulous. We ordered a large and that it was. We will have enough to feed us again tomorrow night and we each had two large pieces this evening. The toppings were fresh, ample and just as i ordered them. Honestly, we can't wait to order more from them in the near future and, if this pandemic allows, we are looking forward with great anticipation to dining in. I'm not certain what else i can say other than, if you are looking for wonderful Pizza in Bethesda, visit Gregorio's Trattoria in the shopping center off of Sangamore Road in Bethesda. I can't speak for their other offerings, at least not yet, though i can say, based on the deliciousness of tonight's pizza, i can't imagine all of the other dishes not being as wonderful. This is a great neighborhood Italian restaurant. There are excellent gluten free options with a couple of kinds of gluten free pasta. The dish pictured tasted light and well cooked, without the different texture that you can get with gluten free pasta. Having tried so many times, but not wanting to pay for two deliveries, I ordered the clams with white wine and garlic. Not so bad, since I knew that there was no wine or garlic to speak of so made my own sauce while waiting for the dry clams and pasta to be delivered. Ordered takeout from here for the first time tonight. I went with the Salmon alla Griglia and it was so, so good! The salmon was cooked perfectly and the vegetables were perfectly cooked as well and the flavors were amazing! My son and his friend loved the NY style pizza and my partner and friends loved their pasta dishes, the Rigatoni Al Capone and Spaghetti Carbonara. We only made it to the restaurant at 8pm on a Sunday and we were afraid they wouldn't want to seat us. They greeted us with a big ol' smi look e and said we were fine. They had great specials and i had the salmon alla grigio - which was fantastic! The wines and food were great and so was the service. Every aspect of our dinner was outstanding. Dude...the ny style here is straight Fire. So many places nearby push their "ny pizza" but this place actually gets it done RIGHT. NAME ANOTHER PLACE NEARBY WHO CAN STAND UP TO THIS PIE I DARE YOU! Wings are great. Chicken French is great One time I ate a whole eggplant parm thinking it was veal parm because my grandma mixed up the dishes and it was still good. That's the only food I have had so don't order something else and not like it then complain I said it was all good because I'm only talking about the items I have had. One change though. You need to up the garlic on those garlic knots. They are good but I need my face melted off by the garlic so much that my wife won't kiss me for a month then rename them "vampire killers." read more
