I would just stick with their pizzas if you decide to dine here. I do enjoy their pizzas especially their crust. Ours came out nice and hot. But, we also ordered the broccoli and cheese soup- the temperature was warm, not hot. Also ordered six jumbo Old Bay wings, the flats were cooked all the way, but the drums were still frozen inside. The Lidos Pizza on Westlake Drive is the best one to go to. The staff are very friendly, you can sit outside. They are dog friendly, and the food is very fresh. Our server was very kind and took our order right away. The manager came out to say hello. We ordered a large precooked bacon and mushroom pizza, which was excellent. I also love the all you can eat salad and soup. The noodle soup is great and the Italian salad is wonderful. my friend ordered a side salad and it was just the right size to accompany the pizza. Ledo is the original Maryland-style pizza, and the Westlake location is a family favorite. Spacious with lots of room for dining in, the menu has expanded a bit from pizza and sides to include wings and calzones. This is my local location so I go regularly. No problem with the food. The service is becoming intolerable. We sit on the left side where the tv's are. The last 2 visits have been horrible. It's as if we are forgotten. They take our order. 10 minutes later the drinks come. Then the pizza, but what happened to the salad we ordered ? It was forgotten. So we canceled the salad. Someone come back to make sure everything ok?? Never. We have to find someone for drink refills. Find someone to get our check. We have to go to cashier to pay check. If you are unable to service that dining area, put up a sign saying it's closed! Last time it took 45 minutes to get our pizza. When it finally came we were told there was a problem. Tell us when you realize there is a problem. Don't let us sit there like buffoons. read more

Ledo's Westlake delivered exactly on time and the correct order of pizzas, GF pizzas and wings. Whitney was friendly and helpful when I ordered in advance by phone. I even added to the order later. Isaac the delivery person was polite punctual and friendly. He made several trips from his car for the food and included plenty of utensils, napkins, sauces. Ledo Pizza is a whole different type of pizza. Actually, I don't even know what you would classify it as. New York? Chicago? Maryland! The buffalo chicken pizza is fantastic and one of my staple "cheat" meals. What's great about Ledo Pizza is they are constantly changing their menu and you can try a different pizza each time you come. Today when I stopped by they were advertising a honey pepperoni pizza with a sub variant as well. I told my coworker how great the buffalo chicken pizza is so he got the buffalo chicken sub. We both LOVED our meal. The service at Ledo hasn't been updated since 1999. In fact, it's one of those restaurants where you seat yourself and the waiter eventually comes to you. They even keep the menus on the table to limit their interaction. That's their thing: a no thrills, no frills place. If you're expecting great customer service with a chatty staff member then you should skip this place. Known for their square pizza, Ledo's should be applauded for the thin, crispy crust. The sweet, tomato flavor, with chunks of tomato goodness enhancing every bite. The heaping amount of melted cheese adorns every little square, each time you take a bite. This is pizza as it is meant to be. Cooked to perfection, it is always piping hot, but not burnt. It is little bit of heaven on a plate. We also ordered the antipasto salad. There is mozzarella cheese, Italian salami, black olives, and fresh vegetables. I always forget to ask for my dressing in the side and my one faux pas is that they overdue the dressing. But, that is a problem that can be easily solved. The service was phenomenal!! Five stars for the fabulous service. Then, there is the cost factor, one medium pizza and one antipasto salad and two drinks, were under $20.00 a piece. You can't beat that for dinner. For someone who loves carbs and cheese and will eat just about anything bad for you, I'm not a huge pizza fan (weird, I know). Except when it comes to Ledo. No "s" obvi. The pizza slices are square, which I'm obsessed with. And the crust is a delicate flaky one that doesn't overpower the pizza like I found typical pizzas to have. The tomato sauce is a little sweet and is pure perfection. You can't go wrong with most any topping but I like the chicken one (much to the demise of my family except my older brother). I know that sounds weird, but it's great. I'll sometimes add something to make it "healthy" like spinach, red onions, etc. We gave the fries a try, which were solid. The only thing is that my dad used to love the chicken parm, but they no longer bread it. Sometimes if I'm feeling extra indulgent, I'll throw in an order of lasagna. Because that's just who I am. Looking back, I wish I took a picture but my family and I were so excited to eat that we dug in! I come to Ledo Pizza often and absolutely love the staff at this location. My family and I often carry out our orders and it is so easy to call in ahead of time for pick up. I'm not a huge thin crust fan, but I will eat Ledo Pizza everyday if you put it in front of me. The crust is delicious and slightly sweet and flaky. My go to is half cheese half Italian sausage pizza, but they offer all sorts of toppings and combinations. I am also a huge fan of their buffalo fried chicken salad, and you can always ask them to hold the buffalo sauce and dressing so that you can dress it yourself. I love coming to this restaurant because the staff is always friendly, the place is always clean, and the parking is easy to navigate. I look forward to going back soon! read more

It all depends on how busy they are for service. Some of the servers are very slow. The prices change and they do not update them on the menu. Have been to this location a few times with coworkers over the past couple of years. It's very casual, you can seat yourself when you dine in. They have outdoor seating in the summer. I usually will order a Calzones, Stromboli or Pizza. This most recent visit I tried the buffalo cheeseteak which I pictured. It was pretty tasty, had great flavors was very filling. The service is decent, although with how slow it was I was hoping for a drink refill but the server never came back until I was done my meal and ready for the check.. oh well. Located right next to Montgomery Mall, nice little strip. Parking is TIGHT but I managed to find a spot Sat in for a table for two clean and upkept. Thy pizza crusts so thin and toast as I seek thee out without burning my fingertips off by going for the middle piece. Thy thoughtfulness of serving beer while I waiteth for my order. Here Endeth my summary of all I love about Ledo's. It's a classic, you've gotta try their pizza. I can't speak for the other sauces but I love the ordinary ledo pizza sauce. Perfect topped with Siracha. Great selection of sizes for pizza, large entree portions for families to share, friendly staff of locals. I grew up eating Ledo's because they are more than just a takeout pizza place and casual enough to come with the fam in pajamas (bringing a wad of mail to go through as I've seen some patrons do). Only downside is some toppings can be a little undercooked on some of the pizzas I've ordered. Also, they forgot to cut my pizza last time. :( In any case, when I'm ordering pizza for a lazy evening or football games, I always go with Ledo's. It's much easier to portion control with their smaller slices and thinner crusts. Plus, you can grab a draft while you're waiting for your pizza to cook because this place offers beer and wine!
