Hey friends! I grew up in Rockville so Giuseppe's was always a staple! So I had to stop by for lunch. They offer fast casual options, pizza, subs, wings etc. I ordered a slice of cheese pizza and curly fries. The portion of fries was very generous! Unfortunately, the fries tasted like they were cooked in old grease. The texture was perfect though, very crispy. The pizza was a no for me. Not sure what happened as I used to love their pizza. It was greasy, undercooked and the cheese had a weird taste. Service was very friendly. Interior is large! Many tables available for dine-in. It hasn't changed a bit. Very 90s and nostalgic. Price point is affordable. I spent about $11 for a slice of pizza and fries, which is super affordable to me. Parking is paid and limited. This is the perfect spot for a date night as it's right next door to the movie theater. I'll be back again to give them another chance! Got pizza here for the first time tonight. Our to-go order was: 1 vegetarian, 1 meat lover's, 1 Sorrento, and one plain cheese. They were a little bit pricey, but worth it! The fresh dough crust is outstanding, and they don't skimp on toppings. This pizza is REALLY, REALLY delicious! (The Sorrento was my favorite.) Only downside was that the online ordering system didn't seem to have any way to see and order the various topping combinations - you have to pick each topping individually. I came back and got a slice of cheese. It's good pie. It has a healthy amount of cheese and sauce and the pizza is a true NY style. I'm upping the score from 3 to 4. I want to love this place. It's a 5 minute walk from my house, the food isn't bad and neither are the prices... But the interior of this establishment is filthy, I mean really thoroughly not clean. Dirty walls, dirty floors, dirty tables, as a customer I can only assume the food follows suite. I double dog dare you to go into the bathroom and try to eat after. The service is on par with the sanitation. Just sour attitudes and faces all around (esp at the register) For context: this is the only restaurant I've ever refused to go back to solely due to how dirty it is. I still walk in maybe once a month to see if they've cleaned, but alas, it has only gotten worse since my first visit in 2022. I ordered a cheese pizza to go for my daughter. It was ready and hot as promised at the right time. The lady at the counter was very friendly. Since I didn't eat in, I can't really comment on any other service. The ambience is interesting, because it feels like an authentic New York pizza joint, except for all of the room. Been a customer there for about 25 years and love their pizza and steak & cheese subs. Their onion rings are good, too. I like their meatball and mushroom pizza, and I get it "half-baked" to take home and finish it in a pre-heated 375-degree oven on a pizza tray (with holes) in about 7 or 8 minutes, usually. Not cheap pizza, but unlike some cheaper ones, this one has what I believe are better crust and ingredients. I'm not quite as impressed with the one in Kentlands...it's OK. Biggest complaint about the Rockville location: PARKING. I have asked if I could pay over the phone (when I ordered), then call when I arrived out front and they've had someone run it out to me. read more

In the door youll find it roomy, bright and clean with a Philly/NY feel. This place is legit good NY pizza with crispy crust and tons of toppings. They run daily specials. My friend has been going to this place for over 20 Years and raves about it. He brought me here yesterday and wow it is pretty good. The prices are great also. Everyday pizza special two pieces of pizza and a soda for $6.50!!!! What!? The owner Steve is super friendly. Love how you can watch them make and bake your pizzas through the glass. Be aware though if you order on chowhound it says there is no extra cost, however today I noticed a 4 dollar difference if I order it in store vs on chow hound. read more

Horrible customer service. Wow this place has gone down hill FAST! We ordered pizzas and they never came. We called back to find out how to correct the issue and the girl on the phone said she was too busy to deal with it. Wtf! We order weekly and asked for an apology and an estimate of when the pizzas would come. They had NO answers and offered to charge us an additions fee for redelivering the pizzas. After 90mins of waiting and calling back 5 times after being hung up on and avoided, we gave up. It's a sad state of affairs there. My friend recommended this place to try for a work PIZZA PARTY so I was excited to give it a try because 1) I love pizza and 2) I love free pizza. The menu had some pretty unique speciality pies, such as the greek pizza. We decided to order the Classic Pepperoni, Meat Lovers (half without bacon and sausage) and a BYO with tomatoes, kalamata olives, spinach and mushrooms-- all in large size. First, the pizzas were definitely LARGE. The diameter was popping and it came with a lot of slices. There was a decent amount of oil on each pizza, but it didn't bother me too much as I just had to sop that baby up with a paper towel. So I am a pepperoni gal at heart and it was prettyyyy delicious, dont get me wrong. Would recommend. HOWEVER, the build your own that my friends and I created was so amazing. Salty little olive bombs, that umami flavor from the mushrooms, the spinach to feel a little healthy and the juicy tomatoes-- just so amazing, The meat lovers pizza was also good, pretty standard... I will say it had a touch more oil than the other pizzas, but again, paper towels. I will definitely be returning to Giuseppi's to hopefully try more pizzas and this is now going to be my workplace's go to for our future pizza parties (I hope). :) read more

There's something about this place that keeps me coming back but I don't really know why. The pizza is okay, nothing to write home about. Sometimes it's even kinda bland and the crust can be a little undercooked, giving you a soggy pizza. But I kinda like it still? The service was good and the pizza size was huge. I wasn't too impressed. On one pizza we got half pepperoni and half cheese. Second one we had Guiseppe's Special. The pepperoni & cheese pizza was very bland and couldn't taste any sauce. Maybe that's just the way its made but honestly I like sauce on my pizza. The Guiseppe's Special was so soggy, the crust was very very soggy. I didn't get a chance to take any pictures but the one pie. Maybe I'll try something different next time if I go. read more

I've been going to the Kentlands location so many times, I was bound to start eating here after moving to Rockville. Everything that I liked at the Kentlands location is the same at this place. Great thin crust pizza that has its own distinctive texture. For this watching their carbs, can't go wrong with with their steak or chicken salad. Loads of meat and tons of grilled onions and shredded cheese, and chunks of tomatoes. It really hits the spot. If their grilled beef salad is great, imagine it on a nice long hoagie roll= awesome cheesesteak! Their wings are deep fried with lots of batter. They give you quite a bit and it's not buffalo style (naked wings like what Hooters calls them). It's a good family hangout and those that need a quick pizza slice or two. Completely lacks flavor. Giuseppi's has the texture down, but it's absolutely void of flavor. I'll say it again for the pizza-deprived people of MoCO: Giuseppi's pizza tastes like nothing. Moved here from Italy and while this is not Italian pizza, it's an adequate substitute and our regular neighborhood pizza place. Good stuff.
