I've been snowboarding and skating as much as I used to like if I never had a knee surgery. But the most important thing is that he's the most knowledgeable Orthopedist I've ever met in my life. I had a problem with my knee locking since I was kid and I went through so many Orthopedist. Not a single doctor was able to tell what was going on and after chatting with Dr. Cole for just a few minutes he gave me that diagnosis that changed my life. Now I know exactly what happened all those times I was clueless and now I can be prepared to protect my knee from certain movements and understand why it hurts sometimes. I am so happy that I choose Dr. Cole for my surgery and as my orthopedic doctor. My surgery went so perfect. I recommend a call for anyone with a knee problem. Another reason why I am so happy I chose him is his Bedside manners. The first time I met him he listened to me very carefully and he reassured me that he was going to help me and cure me. An indeed he did. Dr Cole is was blessing for me, and at all times I felt so comfortable and taken care of by him. He's the absolute best. Also his entire team of Orthopedists and assistants and nurses were amazing. They responded to my thousands of questions very respect respectfully and clearly. They were always there to help me with anything I needed. Answering mails day and night. Give me useful information and checking on me after the surgery. I told him that my hip also hurt and he advised me to see another doctor for that problem. I thought this doctor was a good orthopaedic doctor. She can feel every muscle and joint in your body and apply the perfect pressure to relieve even the most intense pain that you are feeling. She is AMAZING! She doesn't rush you and is so gentle in her therapy. I'm having serious issues with my left shoulder and whenever I go see Tammy, my shoulder gets better and better with each visit. I found ATI Forest Park and did 4 sessions there. I worked with Toli for 3 of the sessions, he was fantastic! He did the intial assessment, and then worked with me over 3 sessions. He had me doing various stretches and exercises to help strengthen the areas he determined were weak. I continued doing the exercises at home also, in between sessions. After the first 2 sessions I was shoveling some snow and had a flare up, but it was amazingly MUCH less painful than it usually would have been. So grateful to Toli for his expert help. He was so great to work with. I also had 1 session with Kristy, she was also great. (We even bonded over our mutual love of Rick Springfield.) And shout out to Jay, I didn't have any sessions with him, but he was often at the front desk when I came in and was so nice to chat with. Also, the space is large enough so that it never felt crowded when there were other people having sessions. I cannot recommend this ATI location enough. I want to be very honest with this review of Loyola University Medical Center…read more We arrived on Easter Sunday night after being transferred from another hospital, and I was truly grateful we made it. The ICU staff on the 2nd floor were exceptional--kind, professional, and attentive. They consistently checked on us and treated both patients and family with care and respect during a very difficult time. However, after a few days, we were moved to the 3rd floor, and the experience changed significantly. During overnight hours--around 2 AM--the environment has been surprisingly loud. I heard staff using profanity, watching videos or news on their phones at high volume, and openly complaining about long shifts. I understand healthcare is demanding, but this is a hospital setting, and patients (and their families) can hear everything. My relative is here receiving end-of-life care, so I stay overnight. At one point, a nurse questioned my presence rather abruptly before knowing the situation. To her credit, she apologized once she understood, but in moments like these, a little more compassion upfront goes a long way. One of the nurse was rude and jist keep using profanity and stated this is who she is. Wow, Loyola use to have professional nursing staff, what happened? I also noticed interactions where staff spoke to patients in a very casual, sometimes inappropriate tone. Maybe I'm a bit old-fashioned, but professionalism matters--especially in a place where people are vulnerable, grieving, and trying to find peace. My takeaway: There is clearly a strong, compassionate team here--as seen in the ICU--but consistency matters. Professionalism, awareness, and respect should be maintained across all floors, especially during overnight hours. Hospitals should feel calm and supportive, not loud or chaotic. Patients and families deserve that--especially during life's most difficult moments. I will give a 4 star due to our first encounter here and the kindness nurses such as Nicole and Quand and Jordan. Very kind d and attentive. And I just heard 2 nurses use profanity to another nurse. I am sincerely flabbergasted that they speak like this so openly and there are patients present in their rooms. The level of unprofessionalism is amazing, and i am really saddened by this as this hospital was once top hospital. Being part of the joint commission will definitely reflect not only my review, but how I move forward. This is really upsetting me.
