I actually avoided this company at first because the "affordable" put me off. I like to save money and everything but my piano has massive intrinsic value for me and I'll pay top dollar for it to be safely moved and set up. When I couldn't get a call back and since I was on a tight schedule I called folded and tried Affordable. Winston picked up, answered my 49 questions and was actually able to move me that very day. He was communicative and took very good care of my baby. There was even follow up and helpful conversations that followed. I will absolutely be using him and his company again. I used Advanced to move my brothers baby grand piano to his new house. The pick up was nothing…read moreabnormal but the delivery location involved moving the piano to the second floor. After the first 5 steps the stairs have a tight landing with a 90° angle turn followed by another 12-15 steps. I called several other reputable piano movers (including the company that moved the same piano into their last house) and all of them assured me that they could get the piano up the stairs. I sent them all the same pictures of the stairs and then they all said that it could not be done. I was worried until I spoke to Joe. He looked at the pictures and described for me what they would be doing to get it up there. He showed up with 2 other workers and they had the legs off in no time. At the delivery location they slowly worked their way up the stairs and put the piano back together. Overall, the service was good and the price was fair.

I started with a one star, corresponded with Family Music and changed it to a 4 star since they found the issue right away. A couple of weeks later I received a check per agreement from 7 years ago. Worst movers among the worst movers. Their packing skills are nonexistent. They throw everything…read moreinto big boxes and have no regard for your possessions. They left some of my stuff unpacked and told me everything was packed. In order to get the remaining items on the load to my new address, Jason Blain charged me extra to go back to my home and pick them up. He told me the entire truck was mine and then chastised me for adding small items to it. One of the guys had alcohol on his breath and a bad attitude. I moved from Henderson, NV to California and downsized quite a bit. I had a beautiful hand-painted sideboard from Mexico that wouldn't fit through the door, so I told him to put it under the carport where it would be protected up closest to the mobile home until I could sell it. They purposely put it on the outside of the carport where the weather would proceed to rain on it and totally ruin it. I couldn't move it because it weighs a ton and there were quite a number of other boxes left in the carport. One of my many art pieces from the artist Mary Baxter Sinclair has a small tear in the corner now, since none of my artwork was wrapped; instead thrown in big boxes helter-skelter. Use any other mover, but please DO NOT USE SUMMERLIN MOVERS. They are terrible.
