Hands down the best movers in town. They arrived half hour early and ready to work! We moved out of A high rise which is a ton of work going through elevators and such and they did it with no complaints. Moved us to our new house and they unloaded the 27' Uhaul truck under an hour and placed the furniture where we wanted. The professionalism was second to none. Highly recommended. This company is a SCAM company. They will quote you and charge you one price, but when moving day comes, they will tell you the price is different and claim they can only receive cash payment for the extra charges. When you file a claim against them, for breach of work order contract, they will then tell you they will issue you a FULL REFUND and then you'll never hear from them again. Stay away from these crooks. I am filing a small claims court file for them right now and reporting them to BBB as a fraudulent company. read more

If I could give my experience 0 stars, then I would. I do not recommend this company. I used them for a move back in 2021 when I was moving out of my parent's home. It was just a bedroom set and a few boxes, going into a 1 bedroom apartment. Everything was perfect so I decided to use them again this year based on my first experience, but this was a mistake. This time I was moving from a 2nd floor 1 bedroom apartment to a 3rd floor 1 bedroom apartment. The company was aware of this and agreed to do the move. First of all, they started 1 hour late than the agreed time. & maybe 3 floors was too much for them, because they damaged a lot of my furniture by bumping and scraping it against walls, and they completely ruined my new couch by getting it stuck in the stairwell. Instead of stopping once they realized it was stuck, they proceeded to push and pull on it, causing rips/tears, and dirt marks. Once they were done, they requested payment without even acknowledging my ruined furniture. BEWARE this company does not have insurance to pay for any damage they cause while moving your stuff. This was completely unprofessional. Now I'm stuck with ruined furniture and no compensation except for a discount that does not equate to the worth of my furniture. We hired Pain Free Moves to unload a 16' truck into a second floor apartment in August. The two laborers ran late only because they were taking extra time with a previous customer. They made it up to us and then some with extra time. Nice guys who were careful with our stuff. A great value and we will hire them again when we move next year. read more

I spent $1500 on my move out of a domestic violence situation and worked directly with the owner, Don, throughout the day. Some of my furniture sustained some minor but noticeable damages in the move due to friction because the movers did not wrap my dining chairs. When I brought it to the owner's attention when unloading, we discussed and he agreed to return another day to patch the torn covers on the chairs and called it an easy fix. He never fixed them, did not respond to many of the follow up attempts, and eventually told my assistant he had no intention on fixing the chairs and that he has only agreed to fix the chairs in an effort to "get out of there" and finish the move. I'm very late with this review but I thought of them when a friend of mine asked me to refer her to a good moving company. Pain Free Moves immediately popped into my mind. I found this company on the Uhaul site. They were among the least expensive of the companies listed on the site so I decided to go with them. Don texted me a couple days before hand to confirm the details. He also texted me on the day of the move to let me know his ETA. They arrived on time as promised. They were quick, efficient, and professional. I've hired lazy movers before that milk the clock but that definitely was not the case working with Pain Free Moves. These guys are fantastic. I picked the Full Service package. The owner, Don, dropped off the moving truck am hour in advance. Tyler and Ridge showed up right on time, ready to go. Took about 5 hours to load from a 2nd floor apartment and unload into my new 2nd floor apartment across town. It was hot and I have some heavy stuff, but these guys work crazy hard. I would absolutely use Pain Free movers again they were on time professional and even helped me drive my moving truck for me to and from the truck rental. I was skeptical at first when I hired Pain Free moves only because I had a large home and figured I'd need at least 4 people to assist with my move. Don explained that it was just himself and Emma. So I said what the heck and kept my booking. Boy was I so glad that I did. Not only were Don and Emma prompt and ready to work but you gotta see these two move. I mean literally move. They are in unison and they are quick and efficient. I didn't even need 4 people. They practically emptied a 4400 sq ft house in just under 4 hours. I was more than mystified with their performance. I will definitely be using them again and referring them to everyone I know in need of move jobs regardless the size. Definitely don't mind paying good people for good solid work. These 2 are simply AMAZING!!!! I was a bit worried at first as to the size of house that we were moving but these 2 did a terrific job on moving expensive furniture from a 5600 sq ft house to a high rise condo. Not only do I highly recommend these two but I will definitely be using them myself again through my job and also for myself. When we originally hired Pain Free Movers at the rate of $90 for 2 movers for 2 hours and each additional hour of work was to be $45. Towards the end of our move out, I mentioned that we may need the extra hour, at which point Don of Pain Free Movers said it was now an extra $60 for each additional hour. I immediately told him that the website said it was $45 for each hour at which point Don said, "No, it is $60". The total time of move was 2.5 hours. We started at 4:30pm and ended at 7p. Don then asked for the payment code. He said because of the extra time, we needed to pay him an additional $60 in cash. I told him we did not have cash, charge it to the payment code, Don said cash only. I told him we only used an extra 30 mins and he said they only charge for full hours not half hours. This company is now being investigated for fraudulent charges by movinghelpers.com, one of the sites used to hire them through U-Haul. STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE, AS THEY WILL SCAM YOU LIKE YOU'RE NOTHING TO THEM!! PAIN FREE MOVES MY ASS!!! read more
