Not too long ago I messed up my finger and it ended up swelling up pretty bad. As a result I had to have my wedding ring cut off. (Too be fair it was a bit too tight even before my accident). Kingsley Jewelry cut it off at no cost. They suggested I give my finger some time to heal, and they would measure and resize my ring. Well, my finger is healed and I went back in and dropped it off. Needed to replace some watch batteries and the spot I used to use had closed. I've been by this store many many times but never stopped in. What a surprise to learn it's been here 30 years! Shame on me for not coming in before. Staff was very pleasant and gave me pricing range up front. They let me leave the watches there and called me when they were completed, which was very quickly, even though I had not made an appointment and they seemed busy with Christmas shoppers and other guests. When I returned I took in a ring I thought had a loose stone. Not only did they take a look at it they cleaned it for me as well. All at no charge. I feel very comfortable knowing I'll be coming back for some custom work I want done. They are closed from 12/31 - 1-11 for vacation. read more

Kingsley Jewelry on Kingsley Ave. in Orange Park is by far the best jewelry store in the area. I'm not sure of all of the names but Mile was the main contact I spoke to when I went in to purchase an engagement ring. It wasn't a standard engagement ring as she prefers a specific stone to diamonds, along with a specific non-traditional design. They did have a ring similar to what I was looking for and Mike told me he had a couple more of the gems coming in and was confident one of them would be what I was looking for. Oh on top of the specs of the ring itself I was also on a time crunch since we were leaving for a family cruise for Christmas and I wanted to propose on Christmas Eve. As it turned out the one gem he wanted did not make it in time but another did that was stunning. In just a couple weeks time and being the busiest time of the year, he was able to perfectly create the design I wanted better than I could imagine with the gem as a center piece accented with gorgeous baguette diamonds. Being it wasn't exactly what we spoke of he said that if I took this one and she says Yes, Of I wanted to still go with the original idea then we could bring it back and he would swap out the stones. Which she did and he did. It was a particularly hard time but Mike and his team made us feel like we were his only clients at the time. I simply had to share this story because it's getting harder and harder to find places that not only take a great deal of pride in their work which in this case was exquisite but also those extra steps to help you when you need it most. I will never use another store for any of my jewelry needs and I will make sure anyone I speak to know's as well. Being from the North East I thought I'd never find a place that could match the jewelers back there. Kingsley jewelry in not only on par with those they exceed on their pricing of course but it's the customer service and attention to detail that sealed it with me. I had a deeply disappointing experience with Kingsley Jewelry that I feel compelled to share. I dropped off six rings on December 4, 2024, and was told that they would be ready as early as December 7. After waiting until December 10th without any communication, I called to check on my order and was informed that my rings were third in line. When I followed up again on December 13, I was met with an excuse about being busy. I explained that I needed one specific ring for a wedding by December 17, and was assured it would be ready by 4 PM that day. When I arrived right at 4, I was greeted by the owner's daughter, who had a significant attitude and reiterated how busy they were. I requested my ring back, but instead was told to wait as they would size it for me then. After a 30-minute wait, I finally got the ring. I made it clear that I needed my emerald and diamond ring done before Christmas, and they agreed to that timeline. Fast forward to December 24, when I went in to pick up my ring, only to find it was not ready. I was told the jeweler would work on it while I waited. After some time, the jeweler came out and explained that they had attempted to add white gold, but my ring was made of some strange metal and they couldn't put it back together. This left me without a present for my son's new wife on Christmas Eve--absolutely unacceptable. While I was in the store, I spotted a pair of man-made diamond earrings and asked about a deal. The owner kindly gifted them to me, which was a nice gesture, but it didn't make up for the overall experience. I left the remaining rings for sizing, and when I finally received a call that they were ready, I was given an estimate of 200 to 240 to size my rings on 12/4/2024. Here's where it gets really frustrating: I brought in 12.6 grams of gold, valued at $380 per the scrape they called it on my sales ticket. Now the estimate of 240 at the high-end now is you BROKE EVEN, they did not pay me the difference from the gold I bought in. After all the hassle, I ended up being ripped off by at least $100 plus a broken ring returned to me unwearable. The man-made diamond earrings, which I initially thought were a nice gift, felt more like a consolation prize for the terrible service I experienced. In summary, my experience with Kingsley Jewelry was frustrating and disappointing from start to finish. I will never recommend or purchase anything from this company again. Save your time and money and look elsewhere for your jewelry needs. read more

I brought several items In to be fixed. I brought two necklaces, both my wedding ring, And a bracelet. Well not even two days after I got them back the necklace broke like maybe he fixed the wrong part of it. I had to get my wedding rings sized bigger. Now I've been married for 18 years and never had a problem. Like a week after I got it back one of the diamonds broke and feel out. This is a really expensive ring. I've called and left over 5 messages with the owner and he did not once call me back to rectify it. I will never bring my jewelry back there again!!! All I have to say is that the guy that seems to be in charge at Kingsley Jewelry has got to be the rudest individual I've come across in awhile. My wife and I went there for jewelry repair. We were dealing with a nice lady as we heard him telling a customer, "I gotta make some money here" and "if I give it to you for that price, I should've just started home." The lady we were dealing with had to answer the phone. She was on the line for maybe a minute when yelled at her to hang up and deal with the current customers. He was still talking about how he had to make money. We took our jewelry and left. This is actually the 2nd time I've witnessed his behavior. I was really surprised to read the review about the owner being cocky. I have been in Kingsley Jewelry a number of times and the owner and younger guy are always extremely helpful and nice. Maybe the reviewer was having a bad day. It happens. Anyway, they have done everything from change a watch battery to tighten my watch clasp to giving me an estimate on a custom ring. I came here to get a diamond replaced on hubby's wedding band. They were pretty busy when I entered just an hour or so after they opened, but handled the customers with decorum, patience and no sense of "why are these people all here!?" attitude. I looked at their merchandise before leaving and was helped by Mike. Honestly, I'm probably the antithesis of what most people think women should be about jewelry. I don't care if its real or fake, as long as I think it's pretty, I like it. I don't know anything about clarity etc. (That's all I know lol) Mike showed me a few rings that could match my hubby's band (They actually had an exact copy of his band at a far lower price than I paid. Hurts, but useful to know!) They deal wholesale. I didn't realize what experienced, devout jewelers could do with an existing piece. There was a ring that I loved except for this huge gem sticking way up. He explained that they could bevel? set it to make it lower and more in tune with my taste. (I like tasteful and elegant versus loud and flashy.) I decided to go ahead and get it with all the changes he talked about. Also, I only had one more errand to run and really just expected to pick up hubby's ring the next day, but they called before I was even done with the errand and said that it was ready. Reasonable price for repairs too!! Gotta tell ya, I fell in love with this place. The only stickler is that the parking sucks. It's right off the main road and to get out you have to back out into the road. Didn't seem too busy, but it was pretty early in the day for traffic. I can't imagine what it may be during rush hour. Add in the fact that I'm pretty awful in reverse. Helpful hint: Coming from Blanding to Kingsley, it's just past the railroad tracks on the right. It'll sneak up on ya if you don't look out for it. read more

I absolutely LOVE the staff here. Went to have my engagement ring sized up because the original jeweler didn't size it correctly. I went in for a consult and told Robin that I absolutely didn't want to go a day without my beautiful ring. She went ABOVE AND BEYOND by taking down my number and calling me with a date and time that I could actually go in and have the ring done while I waited. When I got there, Mike allowed me to go sit in the back with Reuben and actually watch while he sized it. The process was SO COOL! I can't imagine any other jewelry store, ESPECIALLY big chains, doing any of those things! The customer service is absolutely awesome and the jewelry on-site is GORGEOUS! Took an expensive watch for repair because it was losing 2 minutes a day. After leaving the watch with them for 5 weeks I was able to pick it up. The next day, it was not working correctly. Took it back and they kept it 10 days and said it was running fine. Not so. It still looses time and they charged me $375.00 for repairs. We moved to Orange Park 25 years ago and have used Kingsley Jewelry that entire time. Most often we needed ring sizing or a watch battery, but most recently I had something a bit more involved. I have a ring with a heart shaped pearl, in a very unusual setting that overlaps my wide gold wedding band. The pearl after 34 years had fallen out. Fortunately it was found and I brought it in to have it repaired. A few weeks after the repair, the pearl fell out a second time, found again, but before I could bring it back in, Covid 19 hit. When I finally did bring it back in, some 6 months later, the jeweler reinstalled the pearl and obviously knowing that a heart shaped pearl would be impossible to replace, added a simple gold wire loop on the side of the pearl, insuring that now I can wear the ring with confidence and that there is no chance it will ever fall out again. I did not ask him to do this and he did not charge me. It was such an inventive way to protect the pearl and was a pleasant surprise. That is the kind of old fashioned service that you just don't find very often. read more

We have always gone there for our jewelry but last week I took in a ring to be repaired last week that was really special to me. Its an angel ring my husband bought me after my son was killed years ago and I NEVER take it off. When dropping it off they said they would get it back to me in a day or two, as soon as possible. Wow! Dropped off my wife's wedding ring on January 15 to have it put into another setting as she has developed an allergy to gold. I was told that their designer was out of town and would be back in 5 days. After 15 Days I called to check on the status of our ring. Was told the designer was delayed in getting back in town. They would call me in the next few days. 10 days later I walk into the store and ask about my wife's ring. First they can't find the order. Then the owner comes out and says he called my wife and there was no reply. Um wrong answer as I gave them my cell number not my wife's. So I tell him I understand that you had issues with your designer being out of town. But I brought the ring in 30 days before my anniversary with the plan of giving the new ring to her on our big day. The owner looks at me and says do you want your ring back?
