We came here for a birthday party and it was so much fun. My son loved the barnyard area so we were there for most of the time but it had so many things to do! Between the animals in and our of the barn, the giant sandbox, and the tetherball, this was a great little area to hang out in. They also had a fun basketball hoop in a wagon which sent your ball back every time. That was fun! They had wagon rides, plenty of food and drinks available, and for the birthday party we got a couple of their homemade cinnamon donuts which were delicious. We didn't do any blueberry picking but we will be back for that. However they have the store in the barn which had maple syrup, jams, produce, and so many other great items. We grabbed a few more donuts and a jar of homemade jam. This is a great spot for the family or even just a weekend date. We will be coming back for more soon! read more

I love this place. They offer so much for the family! Lots in the bakery, fresh produce regularly, their donuts are soooo good. I love that they offer u-pick, which is an annual family tradition for us. We usually went elsewhere but the yield here is SO much better than other u-pick farms we have gone to. But, prepare yourself, u-pick is very expensive. For the 2023 season, we paid $4 per person to pick (yes, you have to pay to do your own labor), and then $5 PER POUND. I told my dad next year I'll go by myself, pick a quart of strawberries and then pick him up and we can go to Wegmans where the strawberries are just as good but significantly cheaper. I really do love this place, we love coming to see the animals and all the different crops they are growing. I'm just bitter that it feels like pure robbery to do the u-pick. read more

WOW! Going to Greg's might have been my all time favorite date. Bruce and I went on September 30th because I had read online they had a you-pick pumpkin patch, something I was cheated out of last year. We went at around 12 and it was not too crowded, which was nice. We bought tickets that gave us access to the pumpkin patch/a pumpkin as big as you could carry & access to the sunflower field. Tickets were $20 per person and very reasonable for the experience you get (perfect for families with children). They even take you over to the field in a tractor ride! I think we spent a good hour and a half picking sunflowers and our pumpkins. The farm also had clean bathrooms, a food shack (homemade french fries and pickle on a stick!), and a very wide variety of pre-picked pumpkins for those who did not want to go to the actual patch. To pick or not to pick -- it's only your decision. Greg's farm is a beautiful place worth visiting no matter what your needs or desires. Located in an area with open fields and a countryside vibe, it's a great destination to explore. It's an inviting space with a lot to offer. From many varieties of seasonal produce through dairy, meat and preserves. Freshly made baked goods are also available. I tried their cinnamon and sugar donuts. It was the sweetest treat. Cut your own flowers or play in the corn maze. I like to check on the goats and pigs. Walking along with chickens and turkeys is also fun. I think kids would love it here. Greg's also offers activities for groups like birthday parties, spring field trips, educational school tours, etc. Many kinds of gatherings are possible. Their Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) shares must be also popular among Clarence neighborhoods. All vegetables and fruits we tried so far were very good. I think they grow the most delicious tomatoes. I did canning once and they made me do it again this year. Opening a jar with Greg's tomatoes is like bringing back memories of summer. Here at Greg's anyone in your group picking over the age of 2 and under 60 has to pay $3 for a one time visit or $12 a season. So my son and his fiancée introduced us to this wonderful place! I've passed the sign so many times on transit Road but did not realize you don't have to pick if you don't want to - you can get a share of the crops or half share or you can buy some items separately. We got to experience what are a half share looks like as we picked up for them which they actually told us to enjoy! And boy, are we enjoying!!! The peaches, I can't even describe the flavor, it was phenomenal -,same with the tomatoes and blueberries. Can't wait to have the rest of the fruits and vegetables - and look at the beautiful flowers we got also. Great fun place to visit. Stopped there today to pick up my supply of winter squash to last me for a few months. Filled a large grocery bag for $15. There's always something in season with the u-pick. Today is was raspberries. The place has been expanded this year with the farm market on one side of the parking lot and the enclosed country store on the other. In there you can get everything from fresh baked goods (pies looked really good!) To ice cream or pickles. Also being fall there were tons of pumpkins and mums. Joined the CSA this year as a Christmas present to my husband (he's always supportive of local business). It's only two weeks in but we absolutely love it. You get so much produce that it's totally worth the money. Plus they have events throughout the season. My kid loves visiting and seeing the animals especially the baby cow. If interested in a CSA I totally recommend this farm. They also have a nice store with all kinds of food and sweets. I now am able to buy cage free eggs there cheaper then at the store, and fresh meat that's very reasonably priced. read more

Come here for berry picking with the kids several times a year. Most recently came for the strawberry picking which were a little over picked and small. The taste on them were still very juicy, the kids loved them. Other then berry picking they have homemade pies, local jellies and jams, honey, ice cream and other veggies and fruits already picked. I'm a big fan of Greg's U-Pick. They're family owned and operated, and they absolutely stand by everything that they offer 100%. Last winter I stocked up on the soup mixes that they offered, and I'm glad now that I did. Right now they're still open for CSA registration. And in light of what's happening, they're offering a free flat of microgreens for people who register for CSA by April 10. I know from past experience that Greg's farm is very generous with their CSA share. I also know from a friend who does microgreen flats that this is a great way to get reliable produce. I bring my individuals with Developmental Disabilities to Greg's two or three times a year and Alicia is always generous, accommodating and inclusive! You do have the option of bringing your own container and I think they'll probably weigh it? Unclear. There's also a shop/bakerywith already picked strawberries, veggies, pies, donuts. We bought a pie labeled as "cherry" but when we cut into it, it was apple. Needless to say we were very disappointed but made up for it in flavor. Crust was flaky, buttery melt in your mouth. This place is unbelievably lovely. My girlfriend and I chose this as our CSA because we loved everything about this little farm. Greg's was open on Labor Day so we decided to stop by and pick some raspberries. We ended up spending a very enjoyable hour or two at the farm! Upon pulling in, the first thing we noticed was the barn with animals. You are able to go over and visit with them and feed them grass through their fences. Ponies, donkeys, chickens, and goats! How adorable, and what fun for any animal lover to be able to interact with these animals (free of charge!). We then went for u-pick raspberries - you can either bring your own tupperware containers to pick into, or they offer you the little blue quart baskets. We spent quite awhile picking through their raspberry patch - not overwhelmingly large, but certainly enough rows that we were able to spend a good amount of time and find a large amount of perfectly ripe berries. They were delicious right off the bush, the rows are nicely maintained without too many weeds or long grass to pick around, and the buzzing of bees and scattered wildflowers makes for a serene atmosphere! Service was also excellent and very friendly. We also picked up a bunch of fresh veggies in their farm stand - squash, beautiful cherry tomatoes, broccoli, and green beans. We will certainly be back later in the fall to pick out our pumpkins! They have other versions of u-pick depending on the season, and they also offer u-cut flowers, which we'll be back for in the future! Their other barn has a cute little shop with some dry goods, fresh donuts, and ice cream. I had such a great time picking berries here with friends this past weekend. It's such a relaxing and tasty experience that it's surprising I don't go more often. Here's how it works. You arrive, park and go see the nice person at the counter who will give you carriers to pick to your heart's desire. You can also get a bucket if you're feeling particularly ambitious. After, the fields are yours to roam! Toward the end of August, they had raspberries, blackberries, blueberries and even strawberries available to be picked. The blackberries were to be picked by adults only and no kids were allowed in that field, possibly because it's a bit more challenging to pick and the fear is that kids will waste a lot of fruit in the process. We chose to go for the blueberries and raspberries instead. There were plenty of raspberries to be picked, but a heck of a lot of bees trying to pollinate them. The buzzing and the fear that I'm about to pick a berry that a bee is nestled in had me a little uncomfortable at first, but I somewhat settled into it realizing that the bees aren't going to go out of their way to bother me. 20-30 minutes later, I filled up my carrier. I ate a good amount of tasty fruits on the way. The blueberries didn't have very many bees and were almost out of season at this point (August 24th), but there were still plenty of them and they were so sweet! I probably ate a good amount and still brought a full carrier back with me. Between the three of us, we had a heck of a lot of fruit and it only took us a few relaxing hours to pick them. As we were checking out, we noticed they sold a lot of different produce. Bushels of tomatoes, fresh onions, farm eggs, red peppers and much more! I picked up a mix of small red peppers and tomatoes and along with my large amount of blueberries and raspberries paid only $15 for it all. I would totally recommend this; there's still some tasty berries left! read more

I like the option to pick my own blueberries and tried Greg's for the first time. My former go-to went out of business and was definitely less pricey. Just to enter the picking area, it's $3pp and you bring your own bag or can pay $2 for a basket. $5 per pound once picked. There was plenty of picking area and we left with a little over a pound. On site they have many animals and my daughter really enjoyed seeing the goats, chickens, pigs, donkey, and kittens. Inside the store they have fresh baked doughnuts to include my daughter's favorite cinnamon sugar doughnut. There was fresh lemonade and bottled milk along with many other farm gators favorites. We would probably return as there was more than just berry picking. read more

CASH ONLY! There is a sketchy ATM on premises but I wouldn't use it unless you're desperate. We brought our Girl Scout troop here as a fall activity to pick pumpkins. It was windy and cool, had rained prior to our arrival. We loaded into the tractor to ride out to the pumpkin patch. That was the only way we could get to the patch. Walking wasn't allowed. Not sure if that was just because of the rain prior & mud or a regular thing. Overall the experience was okay for me, BUT... 1. Pumpkin stems are very prickly. The pumpkins we had to pick from were pretty big, so it was a struggle to get the squash off the main vine not only because of size but also because of the prickles. They should provide gloves or warn patrons prior. Maybe they did and I just didn't see that info but I would have brought gardening gloves and maybe even a Swiss Army knife. 2. There were TONS of yellow jackets. This may sound spoiled because uh, we're outdoors, on a farm, and so... BUGS... but one of our mom's got stung and ended up in the hospital since she was allergic. They were especially bad when the troop was enjoying donuts and cider. 3. The market was expensive from what I could tell. Maybe I'm out of touch on farm market and pumpkin prices but I've seen less expensive in Niagara County. For kids, this is an entertaining visit. Just make sure they wear their wellies and bring a jumbo pack of wipes for clean up. Maybe towels down in the car too, if you're anticipating a muddy visit. And maybe a change of clothes just in case too. Haha! I'm suggesting from experience. There are live animals to observe, a corn maze, a cool corn crib which the girls all really enjoyed, and of course pumpkins to pick from the patch! For the kids' sake, it's a 4-star. Odds are, your kids will love this autumn visit. From a cynical adult's perspective, I thought it was okay. I wouldn't have visited without the kids, and I probably won't again in the future. But for being a close hop from East Amherst & Clarence, it's a worthy visit with the kiddos. read more

Let me break it down: "pick fees" are $3 per person over age 2. Baskets for picking are $2. Berries are $5 per pound. I went with our three kids and just spent $40 for a few pounds of blueberries! Oh, and cash only (ATM on site). Yikes. Drive a few more miles in the country and you will pay $3.50 per pound with no basket or "pick fees". We won't come here again. read more

Just a happy little Saturday Blueberry picking. I had no idea there would be ponies, chickens, goats, and pigs!!! Beautiful, well kept farm. You can tell the family takes pride in their work. Delicious, ripe berries. There's a farm store for dry goods, baked good, and various fresh produce. We picked just over 2lbs of berries and it came to $11. Yes, it's a lot for berries. There were a lot of strawberries to pick (despite a very cold spring) and it was pretty easy to grab a basket, pick, pay. No need to get on a wagon, walk long distances or do a lot of back and forth. The patch is right there. They told us there was an area we shouldn't pick from but it was really unclear where we should/shouldn't pick. Could have been better marked. I went to Greg's with a friend and my grandson. I had read glowing reports about this farm as well as recommendations from two friends. My grandson was excited to pick blueberries for the first time. The farm is clean and set up for social distancing BUT there were a couple of kids without masks and I saw no parents or workers to correct this. The animals were enjoyable and in clean surroundings. My disappointment is this.... i was charged $9 just to pick!. The berries were sweet but very picked over, even though we went where the worker told us to go. We finally managed to pick 2 pounds and with the picking fee, those berries were $10 a pound! Ridiculous. The produce was overpriced in the farm store and the home baked pies were made with factory stamped crust. I would gladly pay $15 for a home baked pie but NOT with a Betty Crocker pre made crust. I chalked up the outrageously priced blueberries to a fun experience for my grandson as he did enjoy himself. However, we will not be returning. read more

Sunday afternoon at Greg's where fresh fruit and Veggies are waiting to go home with you. Was looking forward to finding a fresh farm stand this past weekend and thought, I've lived so close to Greg's for 20 years and have never been. Picking fruit was fun when my kids were a lot younger and now I was just on a hunt for AIP friendly fruit & veggies. Greg surpassed my expectations, as they had plenty of product to choose from. I will expand what I saw to purchase in my pictures. I wasn't able to capture the entire farm or everything Greg's has to offer as other people were walking around, and I'm respectful with eliminating people for the most part in my pictures from public places. Let's just say, Greg's has you pick fruits, flowers, CSA's and fresh produce, animals to visit, if you need an afternoon of peace and relaxation, just need to get out, take the easy drive to Lapp Road. If you are driving on Route 78 heading North to Lockport, look for the big strawberry pointing down Lapp Road to your right. 3 miles up and you can gorge yourself eating strawberries while you and your family and friends pick the ripest and freshest for dinner or desserts. These are the only berries I make my signature Solstice Strawberrie Jam with. Greg and his family are helpful and friendly and even provide a small petting zoo for the younger types to check out the animals they have on their farm. Good parking and hay, on anyplace that gets muddy with the weather, make the way to the berries very easy to get to. We come here every 6/21 so the berries are ready NOW. Signs posted says that Mid July the blueberries will be available. We have not done that before but will try it out this year. Suggestion: Bring comfy clothes you do not mind getting dirty and practical shoes. A great time to not wear perfume to keep your experience bug free. Sunscreen and Bring Your Own bottled water and you are ready to pick. Greg and his family provide carriers that hold up to eight quarts of berries and you can buy the little cartons that the berries are sold in the the supermarket for a mere 10 cents each. What I like the best? Chilling out in any kind of weather and knowing that every berry I paid for is a good one and no nasty surprises of spoilt or moldy or underripe berries to be dicovered as can sometmes happen at the market. Price hike! Too expensive!!! For pick your own blueberries they charged us $3 per person just to walk in to pick your own (in addition to $5 a pound). That was not the case when we visited in 2019. Insanely expensive pretty, ridiculous to pay per person w/ a family of 4. It's $3 per person including children older than 2 years old! What?? As if children ages 3 or 4 picked a lot?! This makes zero sense. We don't plan to return. Very disappointed. Never again. It's too bad we really enjoyed visiting yearly. read more

One of my favorite WNY finds. When we first moved here I often went berry picking. Now We are CSA members and Love our selection each week. It had encouraged us too explore some vegetables we do not often purchase. We get so excited to get our weekly email on Sundays letting us know what we are getting. The berry picking is amazing.
