Here's why I put Corley into my strongly trusted set of service companies... 3 guys from a DIFFERENT company stopped by saying while working on a neighbor's roof they saw a flashing on my roof that needed to be nailed down. I told them to go ahead and when they came down, they said my chimney cap was cracked and there was a good deal of rotting of the wood frame inside it. They had photos and quoted repair options from $7K to more than 3 times that amount. I called Corley to get their opinion, they came out within a day or two, and they said my chimney cap was 100% fine! It turns out, my chimney from my 100+ year old house doesn't even have a wooden frame inside it. And they pointed out a different problem, a real one -- I had a metal chimney flue and they saw it was rusted/cracked, but that wasn't in their menu of services . So not only did they save me from the fraudsters, but they saved me from potential damage from the damaged flue which I had fixed. And they didn't charge me a dime for this roof check. There was a time also within the first 5 years of my roof that some flashing or something slipped, and I did have a small leak. I called Corley, the roof was still under the 5 year warranty, and they fixed it promptly. So thank you Corley. When I hear people needing a roofer, I refer them to you.

However, a few days later some debris/garbage from one of WGH's neighboring jobs ended up in our yard as it was a windy day, and the cleanup wasn't as thorough as it should've been so debris was left in our yard. Not a great situation, but what happened next really stood out. Martín, the owner, responded quickly, took full responsibility, and even came by in person to make sure everything was properly cleaned up. He was thoughtful, professional, and clearly cared about making things right. We appreciated the follow-through. Overall, it left a really positive impression. It's clear they take pride in their work and stand behind it. I'd definitely use them again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

My roofing quote included the statement-- Replace 38 sheets of plywood at a cost of $80 per sheet (if needed) for $3,040. While the workers replaced less than 15 sheets of plywood, I was charged for all 38 panels. After 2 months of trying to get this resolved, the Area Manager for CS1 was to come out for this and other issues. No one EVER showed up or called. I have texted CS1 numerous times, with zero resolution. They even scraped my brand new picture window and front railing. I had to have another company come out and do mold remediation in my attic as they did not even replace panels that should have been replaced. I also never received an itemized bill or warranty for the new roof. VERY DISAPPOINTING and would NEVER recommend this company for anything.

Apparently they are unfamiliar with the fact that they are on Groupon so I had to call back when someone from the company was in the office to get on the schedule. They had availability for two weeks later. I wasn't in a rush so I don't mind the wait. I wasn't scheduled for the 12-4 time window. On the day of I had a work commitment that came up last minute. They were very accommodating when I called so I was pushed further back on the timeslot till after 3 PM so I could be home for the service. The technician Isaiah arrived and informed me what he was going to do. Afterwards he sent me a detailed report with photographs of my gutter system. Thankfully, everything looked good and I did not require any additional services after the cleaning and tuneup.

For the first time I realize I had been hearing a fair amount of outside noise (which I'd apparently gotten used to), because these windows/doors are soundproof; now I don't hear anything at all from outside! And even better, the windows are easy to open, and my sliding glass doors actually slide well in the track, and are not shaking and drafty when it's windy outside -- major improvements from my old, builder-grade, 20+ year-old windows/sliding door. Further, the service crew was excellent -- careful, kind, professional, efficient, and they cleaned up everything afterwards. Roger, the foreman, has been doing this work for almost 30 years, and Jose, who single-handedly carried in/out the windows/doors, has been doing this work for 10+ years. I didn't get the name of the quiet third service person who was mostly outside and on the ladders, also very efficient. fyi, they did mention that working on the 4th floor of our condos from ladders was a bit more challenging as the original builder-grade windows had been made to fit by being packed/taped in place from the outside, which necessitated them having to actually break some of the glass to be able to pull the old windows out. But they did it - and did it well. Finally, Shaun, the project manager who gave me my estimate and oversaw the project from estimate, HOA approval process, to completion, was great.
