I didn't really know what to expect as this was my first time doing anything to my eyebrows (besides over plucking when I was a teenager). I have been trying to grow my brows out and get that full, fluffy brow look without microblading. Sandra was a wiz, she knew just what to do with my brows. I got a shape and tint and she knocked it out of the park. The shape, the color, everything. The tint lasted a few weeks, which I was quite surprised. I had a great experience at grey artistry. I am new to eyelash extensions, so I asked a ton of questions on yelp. They were able to answer all of my questions and help me decide which extensions were best for me. I went in and was treated kindly, brought back right at my appointment time, and relaxed during the service. My lash tech was Tia and she did an amazing job. Coming back to give full 5 stars, I was so scared to go in again because the first time I had a full set of lashes they fell off quickly. Grey Artistry is under new management, the owner helped me schedule an appointment and greeted me so kindly upon arrive the 2 days I went in. I first went in for brows. The artist was so professional; Ashley did my eye brows and answered questions I had about eyelashes (I've had too many bad sets) I went in the next day for lashes and I am in love. I have has them on for 5 days, I wanted to wait at least 2 days after getting them done before writing a review because I was scared they would start falling off again. This salon was very clean and well kept. Chrissy was amazing. She was the first artist I went to in a year because my last lady quit and the only other time I got them done they fell off in 3 days completely (different salon). My experience here was very unprofessional and very unpleasant one of the lash artists was raising her voice and giving me attitude for the smallest reason other than I wanted to cancel my appointment because of miscommunication the attitude I had to deal with was extremely unprofessional the owner sat there and let her employee disregard my feelings so if you do come beware of Chrissy maybe she was upset because she was getting clients back to back but that gives no reason to be rude read more

I love Grey Artistry and Stephania! Everyone is so kind here and took care of me. I had a flight at 1 pm but they were so flexible and took me in at 9:45 am despite opening at 10 am. They kept time for me but still made sure I had an amazing set of extensions to show up in Hawaii with. I've never had lash extensions before but they make it so approachable and lovable. My lashes stayed on despite the Hawaii beaches, hikes, and insane wind. I also went to EDC a week later and my lashes still stayed on despite a wind storm. 3 weeks later, I had 25% and 15% left which is pretty freaking good considering everything I put them through. This place is quality AND they care that you are a student because they provide discounts. I will only get my lashes done here in Vegas! read more

I love it here. I got the Mixed, Cateye, D Curl. This was my first time getting lash extensions so I was very nervous. I have bad allergies and very sensitive skin. With that being said. I didn't have a reaction to the products they use. My eyes were red afterwards but that was expected. Keila was very patient and gentle. The atmosphere was professional and relaxing. I think Keila did mine, she was amazing. Took the time to describe and show me different types of lashes we could do, I forget what we ended up doing except I wanted "volume and wispy" and longer in the middle. They came out great and look super natural without too over the top. I also want to call out that i got VERY antsy and moved around a LOT and she was so nice and accommodating about it. Nothing on the service- I just had a hard time laying still for so long. Definitely come check this place out! And they offer a student discount too so for $100 lashes and $25 removal of old lashes it was 100% worth it! Oh and they gave me an after care kit, with wash, brush, wands and a cute little bath bomb. Thank you again ladies! read more

Tbh I didn't expect to leave a bad review for this establishment. However, after 3 months of coming consistently, and having lost the majority of my lashes as a result of poorly trained and inexperienced lash technicians, I have to. The lash technician I have been going to is completely inept at lash isolation and fan construction. Regularly, she has placed fans on 3 lashes together, resulting pulling and tugging... and eventually the lashes ripping out. I huge clumps of glue used for each fan, and honestly, for $100(inclusive of tip) for a disappointing fill , just isn't worth it. I would highly recommend helloXmary Lash Boutique instead. They are absolute perfectionists and have been helping me resuscitate my damaged lashes from grey artistry UPDATE: The arrogant manager and owner attempted to get me to take down my review and told me it was "unfair" for me not to give them a chance to correct it. However, seeing as I've already lost most of my lashes as a result of their inexperienced lash techs (I know, because the technician I had told me herself that she'd only been lash-ing for 2 years), I cannot and will not take the risk of returning to this establishment. I told the management that I am under no obligation to continue my patronage of her business because I am unsatisfied with the service I received. I also stated that it was perfectly fair for me to review my experience at their business (the entire purpose of yelp). I am also not surprised that the owner claims not to know who I am, a further indication of their lack of customer service and crappy business practices, as I had been a customer for 3 months, religiously. read more

After showing me to a room Mailove gave me the preparation instructions and provided me time to undress. When Mailove returned to the room she asked specific information regarding my service. She began the process and everything went well. She spoke to me during the process in a friendly and respectful tone. Mailove made sure I was comfortable during the waxing process. She went with a 90 minute Swedish massage with Weeya and I opted for a mix of Swedish and Thai massage for my 90 minutes with Linda. We showed up just before our allotted appointment time and we were taken into our separate rooms right away. I let Linda know that I'm pretty sensitive when it comes to pressure, and though there were a few times that the pressure did feel a little too strong for me, she did adjust once I reminded her that I'd prefer a lighter touch. I really enjoyed the stretching portion of the massage, it helped me to relax more deeply. There were times that the room did feel a bit chilly at times, and for some reason though a certain area was not being worked on there were times I was not covered so that made me feel colder some of the massage. Over all I feel Linda did a really nice job and though there were times it did feel uncomfortable, I did leave with a lot less tension and I felt so sleepy and ready for a nap which is a great sign of nervous system reset. My daughter also enjoyed her massage with Weeya, and said she also felt so tired and relaxed after. The ambiance of this space is very relaxing, minimal and clean. There is a stamp card on offer for services so that's a nice perk. Overall I would come back to Lavish Thai massage to experience the unique techniques that Thai massage is known for, and their prices are reasonable especially compared to other spas.

I was kind of desperate because I wanted to maintain my Brazilian, so I decided to search up other good rating and affordable sugaring specialists. Nisa's business popped up as one of my top 3 places, and when I inquired with her, I was able to book an appointment right away :D the price was almost as good as the original place I'd go to. I believe Nisa has her own website that will show how much she quotes on her services, but you can always text/call her to ask as she's super approachable and friendly. I specifically came to her for Brazilian sugar waxing only, although she is more well known for lash extensions. In order to book an appointment with Nisa, you'll have to put a down payment of $50 + tax first. Only contactless payment because of COVID, so she'll take Apple Pay, Venmo, or Cash App. The $50 booking fee is non-refundable but it can be used towards either the service or you can leave it there and use it towards booking your future appointments. (For example, I Venmo her $50 for booking fee, once I meet her to do my $70 Brazilian sugar waxing, I only have to Venmo her $20 after our session is done.) It is cheaper when you are doing maintenance on your Brazilian sugar waxing (coming in every 4 weeks), and it does grow back very slowly! Nisa is super flexible with scheduling appointments, and she'll always text you a reminder when your appointment date is near! I love her sense of humor, she's like a cool mom hahaha. Upon arriving for every session she will check your temperature and have you fill out a COVID checklist form. Make sure you don't book an appointment with her if you had travelled or was exposed to COVID in the last 30 days or so, it doesn't hurt to ask first about it. Wearing your mask is required throughout your session and she sanitizes every single thing, just incase you're wondering how her business is operating during COVID! Currently (from my knowledge) she is only operating her studio at one location, on Dillingham Blvd and another location in Ewa Beach. I'll continue to visit her for as long as I can since I'm always satisfied with her work :)

There are very little options of sugar services here in Hawaii. What I like about sugaring is that my it leaves my skin smooth and my skin does not react like it would with wax. I love that sugaring is made of natural products too. I reached out to Nes to see if she had an open appointment and thankfully she did. What I liked about my first interactions with her was that she had really good communication, let me know what the Covid protocols were, and also had options of contactless payment. This was my first time getting sugared here and I definitely will come again.
