She began the process and everything went well. She spoke to me during the process in a friendly and respectful tone. Mailove made sure I was comfortable during the waxing process. It completely exceeded our expectations. The massage and stretches were exactly what we needed. It was that "hurts so good" kind of pressure where you can actually feel all the tension releasing. I've had massages before that left me feeling more sore afterward, but here it felt therapeutic and intentional. They really know what they're doing. What I appreciated most was that it didn't feel rushed at all. Every minute was used well, and it honestly felt longer than an hour in the best way. She went with a 90 minute Swedish massage with Weeya and I opted for a mix of Swedish and Thai massage for my 90 minutes with Linda. We showed up just before our allotted appointment time and we were taken into our separate rooms right away. I let Linda know that I'm pretty sensitive when it comes to pressure, and though there were a few times that the pressure did feel a little too strong for me, she did adjust once I reminded her that I'd prefer a lighter touch. I really enjoyed the stretching portion of the massage, it helped me to relax more deeply. There were times that the room did feel a bit chilly at times, and for some reason though a certain area was not being worked on there were times I was not covered so that made me feel colder some of the massage. Over all I feel Linda did a really nice job and though there were times it did feel uncomfortable, I did leave with a lot less tension and I felt so sleepy and ready for a nap which is a great sign of nervous system reset. My daughter also enjoyed her massage with Weeya, and said she also felt so tired and relaxed after. The ambiance of this space is very relaxing, minimal and clean. There is a stamp card on offer for services so that's a nice perk. Overall I would come back to Lavish Thai massage to experience the unique techniques that Thai massage is known for, and their prices are reasonable especially compared to other spas.

I was kind of desperate because I wanted to maintain my Brazilian, so I decided to search up other good rating and affordable sugaring specialists. Nisa's business popped up as one of my top 3 places, and when I inquired with her, I was able to book an appointment right away :D the price was almost as good as the original place I'd go to. I believe Nisa has her own website that will show how much she quotes on her services, but you can always text/call her to ask as she's super approachable and friendly. I specifically came to her for Brazilian sugar waxing only, although she is more well known for lash extensions. In order to book an appointment with Nisa, you'll have to put a down payment of $50 + tax first. Only contactless payment because of COVID, so she'll take Apple Pay, Venmo, or Cash App. The $50 booking fee is non-refundable but it can be used towards either the service or you can leave it there and use it towards booking your future appointments. (For example, I Venmo her $50 for booking fee, once I meet her to do my $70 Brazilian sugar waxing, I only have to Venmo her $20 after our session is done.) It is cheaper when you are doing maintenance on your Brazilian sugar waxing (coming in every 4 weeks), and it does grow back very slowly! Nisa is super flexible with scheduling appointments, and she'll always text you a reminder when your appointment date is near! I love her sense of humor, she's like a cool mom hahaha. Upon arriving for every session she will check your temperature and have you fill out a COVID checklist form. Make sure you don't book an appointment with her if you had travelled or was exposed to COVID in the last 30 days or so, it doesn't hurt to ask first about it. Wearing your mask is required throughout your session and she sanitizes every single thing, just incase you're wondering how her business is operating during COVID! Currently (from my knowledge) she is only operating her studio at one location, on Dillingham Blvd and another location in Ewa Beach. I'll continue to visit her for as long as I can since I'm always satisfied with her work :)

What I liked about my first interactions with her was that she had really good communication, let me know what the Covid protocols were, and also had options of contactless payment.
