Food was drab. No real taste place seemed dirtier than I prefer. Went once, probably won't return unless it's just for drinks or appetizers.

We had the smoked prime rib which was tender enough to cut with a fork and almost the perfect amount of smoke. Maybe a bit too much but still tasty. It was next door to a gonja store so as you walked thru the front door you got a big whiff of smoke. My gps took us to the back door for some reason but we drove around the square and found parking in the front. I wasn't sure exactly what to expect, but after reading through their menu and other information on their website, I was pretty sure I would like it. Upon arriving we were seated within 5 minutes by the sweetest most personable server I have delt with in many years. The interior of the restaurant is so pretty, with white table clothes and fresh flowers on every table, it was absolutely breathtaking! My friend and I tried the empanada, and it was brought out in a timely manner, and OH MY GOODNESS it was soooo good! Then I ordered the Salmon, and my friend ordered the Chicken Cordon Bleu. The presentation of the food was so upscale and beautiful! And again, I was shocked! The food was soooo good, definitely worth every penny I paid for it! Then, for dessert we both tried the Affogoto. I was sooo surprised at the quality of the espresso! As a barista of 2 plus years, I might be considered a little bit of a coffee snob My words after my first sip were, "Oh wow, this is really good!" Nearly every single item on the menu is handcrafted in house, and what isn't is sourced locally. The chef even personally came out to check on us, and see how we liked our food! This place is AMAZING!! I 1000/10 recommend!

Great atmosphere and the entrees were delicious. Service is great every time. Great restaurant.read more

My husband made reservations two days in advance over the phone, but when we arrived, there was no record of it. We were seated in the back, which wasn't ideal but we tried to remain understanding. We started with the gator bites ($15.99), and were surprised by the very small portion -- mostly crumbs with just a few small pieces. It did not feel representative of the price. After waiting a little over an hour for our entrées, my Cajun Buffalo shrimp arrived. The flavor was very good, the portion was generous, and the price felt fair for what I received. However, my husband ordered the 1/2 lb crab legs, 1/2 lb shrimp, and fish bucket ($39.99), and unfortunately that dish was very disappointing. The crab legs were acceptable, but the shrimp were soggy, gray, and mushy in texture. He only tried two pieces because the quality was concerning. The fried fish portion was also extremely small -- three pieces roughly the size of a quarter, not even half of a fillet. Service was also very slow. After being there for about two hours, we had to go find our waitress at the bar in another room just to pay our bill. We truly wanted to enjoy our experience, but based on the food quality and service, we will not be returning. I wish I had gotten pictures.

On the phone the woman tried to claim that I lied about the items missing, only after I stated that I had a video of the bag unopened did she tell me that she would put the missing items in the bag upon arrival. Had to drive all the way back and the woman immediately had an attitude when I expressed that I would like the entire thing remade because by then the food was already cold. She then proceeds to offer 10% off of the next order ... what next order? I will not be returning. Wtf is $5 off of a $55 order gonna do after I drug my pregnant homegirl at the house to get her craving. I have never in my life been so utterly dissatisfied with an establishment. Absolutely distasteful behavior from the employees and the manager who was ZERO help on the phone. Then the girl claimed that she threw away the previous order so that couldve just been given to us anyways. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. Dont waste your time if you have an issue because they are useless asf.

I always get the half order of catfish fillet, usually with a baked potato, and I have NEVER been disappointed. No joke, some of the best catfish I have had in my life! I was able to go last week while visiting, and tried the spicy catfish fillet for the first time. The breading was a little thicker than their regular fillet, but crisp and full of flavor without being overly spicy. The sides are served family style, which is dangerous for me, because I could easily take down a family's worth of creamy coleslaw, white beans with red pepper relish, and hushpuppies before my catfish even has an opportunity to get to the table. Those hushpuppies..... soooooo good! Nice and crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Large parking lot out front with the iconic Catfish statue alerting everyone that they got the right place for catfish. The interior is unassuming, and according to my dad, hasn't changed much in the last 50 years. It's clean though, and in my opinion, if you have a good thing going, then why change? The staff is super nice, and they take cash and card. Please NEVER change Catfish Kitchen!
