We have adopted 5 retired Greyhounds over the years from Greysave. They do have an interview process that is designed to protect the dog and potential adopter from a mismatch that would cause the dog to be returned to Greysave and have to be re adopted. Greysave has perfected this process to minimize trauma to the dog in bouncing in and out of a home that was not the right fit for that dog. There are rules that must be agreed to in adopting a Greyhound. The rules are in place to first and foremost protect the dog... They are not arbitrary . Greyhounds are a unique breed that require special management by their Owners..GreySave is a great organization that will help a new family gain the knowledge they need to be successful with their new Greyhound . I highly recommend GreySave if you are interested in adopting a loving, sweet . If you have questions, contact GreySave There are hundreds of satisfied Greysave Greyhound adopters out there and we are just one...

The staff is so communicative, the instructions are clear, and they even provide all the materials for the initial foster period. Moreover, the mission of this organization is so amazing and we are honored to partake in their vision.

I saw Harper and went to one of the adoption fairs. I first signed up as a foster. Fostering was free and I had two week periods to foster and help dogs socialize at home peacefully before being adopted. Food was provided and one of the responsibility is dropping them off at the adoption fairs. As you can assume, I went back to the adoption fairs only to start the adoption process. The organization truly cares about their dogs, making sure they get the best medical treatment and are placed in the right homes. There is no pressure in adopting the dogs so if you are only capable of committing a short amount of time, they express nothing but gratitude. They finalize the adoption by doing a home inspection, making sure the home and family are suitable for their rescues. My parents have also adopted a dog a few weeks later and the whole experience was organized, comfortable and smooth. I highly recommend fostering, donating to DWB and/or volunteering in this organization. Their staff and network of volunteers are truly angels .

So for anything you notice that may be off, weird odors in the mouth, etc, an option is just to check it out with your primary vet to save some time. Just want to give y'all a heads up.

The organization loves the breed. I don't have anything personal about the members. When I…read morecontacted them they said that they don't get many dogs in Northern California. Miniature schnauzers are a popular breed, so there's likely truth to this statement. My gripe pertains to the dogs from China presented over the last year. They even posted pictures with names, ages and bios. I submitted an application for the Northern California chapter in general, not specifically for the China dogs. I know they didn't make me a promise for one of the dogs from China. The delay in getting the dogs to the USA during the COVID pandemic was a challenge and probably involved factors beyond their control. I have a problem with advertising the dogs heavily on the site, then giving them to Aberdeen Scottish Terrier Rescue (ASTR) the state of Washington. Aberbeen does not allow adoption to people outside of Washington. This was the response I got when I emailed ASTR. I wish CMSR could have made an arrangement with ASTR to make an exception to this policy. Then the Northern California folks who already applied for dogs from CMSR could at least have a chance to get one of the dogs from China. The whole situation felt really unfair.

I found out a former family member put up our cat for adoption and was then later sent to this location. when I arrived there was a volunteer by the name of Kate who helped me out and I was able to get my baby girl back. Kate was so lovely and Wan so thank you for taking good care of my princess. I would also like to recognize a worker by the name of Adam who was truly such an angel and he slayed. Not only was Adam so happy for me but it was nice to get to know a little bit about him and how he loved his job because he loves animals so he felt like he was in the perfect place which honestly melted my heart. He was able to help me out with my coupons and get me the best deals for my baby girl. At the end when we said goodbye he told me "I'm so happy you got your baby back" and I was just so touched because I knew he meant it and that's how I truly knew he's an animal lover, I could just tell he was one of my peoples and he is that betch lol. I cannot recommend any other store but this PetSmart location, the kind Souls here are just everything.

After waiting 3.5 hours, I called to check on the status and was informed that they offer a "VIP service" for an additional $20, which allows those customers to be prioritized. As a result, my dog's appointment was delayed while others were taken first. If I schedule an appointment for a specific time, I expect my pet to be serviced accordingly unless there are unavoidable delays. This policy feels frustrating and inconsiderate to customers who plan their time around these appointments. If higher pricing is necessary, it would be more transparent to adjust base rates rather than introduce add-ons that delay standard appointments. Overall, this was a disappointing experience, and I will be looking for another groomer in the future
