Lots of dogs & cats available for adoption (ONLY $30!!! AND, they come already micro-chipped & spayed/neutered.) No admission or parking fees. We've been to a lot (check my "Dog Friendly Adventures" list) and for a spur-of-the-moment decision to attend, this was a really good experience for us & our little Ruxin. Venue's great at William S. Hart Park. Grassy & shady. Accessible restrooms. Parking wasn't a problem since we came early. Found a public lot 2 blocks away. Our Ruxin is apparently tired of his current dog food so we wanted to pick up some samples to see if he'd show interest in something new. Came home with all kinds of food & treats. The various vendors were great about explaining their products & letting us know where we can buy them locally or online. We pup-sit our son's Corgis often and these samples will be shared with them. One of them has a really fussy tummy & most of the samples are organic. Several veterinary offices also had booths there if you live locally & want to meet the staff. There was a shots clinics also which had a long line. Someone told us the various shots were low-cost or possibly free. There's also pet-themed art & crafts being sold. I bought some dog toys at very reasonable prices. We seriously considered adopting another JackChi, but Ruxin was being a weenie. He wasn't being nice to the other dog at all. Additional notes: Dogs must be well-behaved and on leash. Please bring poop bags. Small dogs should be carried or in a stroller. It got crowded very quickly. Our lil' guy got his tail stepped on, so the hubby carried him for the rest of our stay. There's donation boxes situated here and there. The donations help to keep this festival free for all of us. We had a great time and will definitely want to come back next year.

We are so grateful and glad that we called them to help us in our time of need. We have had to sadly say goodbye to three other kitties, always at the vets- and we can say that this time was much better; saying goodbye in the comforting familiarity of our home was the best experience we could have hoped for. Just a note: we are in Valencia, Not Hasley Canyon. Don't know why Yelp decided to locate us there.

Hi Jeanette, Sunnie and the Peaceful Pets Family-…read more I just wanted to say thank you from the bottom of our hearts for what you did for our family today. Saying goodbye to Ace was one of the hardest things we've ever had to do, and you and Sunnie made it as peaceful and loving as it could possibly be. The way you cared for him--and for all of us--meant more than I can put into words. You took the time to talk with us and our kids. You explained everything in a way that made sense and bought calm. You made our children feel safe and supported no matter what they were feeling. That meant everything to us. You gave us space and time to say goodbye to our good boy in a way that was meaningful and kind. And the little touches... the blanket under his head, the pets and love you gave, the fur you kept and boxed for our children, the invitation for our kids to write a letter that will be with him forever, the calm and warmth you created--it didn't feel clinical, it felt like family. You gave us a moment we'll always be grateful for in the middle of so much heartbreak. Thank you for the love, compassion, and dignity you gave Ace and our whole family today. We will never forget it.

I cannot say enough good things about bouquet kennels. What…read morean absolute blessing it is to have a safe space for my Luna. We rescued Luna in February. And soon came to learn a couple of things about her. 1-she was a jumper 2- she has pretty severe separation anxiety. For the first couple of months, I took her almost everywhere with me. When I couldn't take her, there were times when I had to struggle to make arrangements for her. As mentioned with the jumping and the separation anxiety, the arrangements would have to be very specific. Making sure that it was with people I could trust. Which usually meant Family because they would be the most available. Well, when there was family events, it was even harder for me to figure out what I would do with her. I knew that a very close family friend regularly uses bouquet kennels. So I spoke with her about them. She said amazing things and highly recommended. So I reached out online and let me just say they were amazing from the beginning. Incredibly receptive and Patient especially with my many questions. I was able to get Luna in for an overnight within two days of first reaching out. Of course, when I came time to drop her off, I was incredibly anxious and worried about leaving Luna. That anxiety and worry started to fade the minute I pulled up and Jessica and Kayleah came out to greet us. Within minutes, I was secure a confident in the choice to bring Luna to Bouquet kennels. I was able to go and spend an entire day out with my family and not worry once. Of course, I thought about Luna and hoped she was doing OK but I didn't have to worry at all. I knew not only was she safe and secure, but she was being loved and cared for. When I arrived the next morning to pick up Luna, I was given a wonderful report about her. And again, I must stress that I knew Luna had had a great experience. In speaking with Jessica and Kayleah I learned that bouquet kennels accepts dogs of all temperaments. I think that's wonderful. I know that all dogs have different personalities and some of them are not as easy others. And knowing that there's a place that accepts those that aren't so easy is such a relief. Every pup should have a safe place to go where they will be accepted. I cannot recommend Bouquet Kennels enough. Needless to say, I will be using them whether it's for the day, overnight, or multiple nights. It is such a gift to have a wonderful safe space for my dog. Thank you Bouquet kennels!!

No matter how simple or complicated the issue, he always takes the time to answer with patience, clarity, and genuine enthusiasm. He helped me set up my 20-gallon long heavily planted community tank from the ground up and even guided me through setting up a hospital tank when I needed one. His advice and expertise have been invaluable every step of the way. You can tell immediately that the aquatics department at this Petco is different. It's beautiful, meticulously maintained, and every tank is absolutely pristine, including the saltwater systems. The health and quality of the fish reflect the care and effort Lupe puts into his work every day. Thank you, Lupe, for giving me the knowledge and opportunity to allow my tanks to thrive. I am forever grateful for all of your help, guidance, and patience. Petco is lucky to have someone as knowledgeable, passionate, and caring as you.

We are single family homeowners with years of experience owning Huskies and other dogs. We are financially stable, active, fenced in yard, and always home to be with a dog. However, after speaking with Rhonda, she didn't feel as if our home would be safe for a dog since we have an open in-ground pool. I have read the negative reviews on here about Rhonda and I need to clear some things up. 1. This is an independent person running a rescue. This is not a breeder. This is not a pet store. This is not the shelter. Rhonda is dedicating her life to do something she is passionate about; caring for unwanted and abandoned Huskies. 2. Being a rescue, which doesn't euthanize animals, and without taxpayer funding, they are running on a much smaller budget than your local shelters are. As such they can't rescue every dog that is turned in. Anyone on here ripping Rhonda for being unable to rescue your neglected animal is just sounding entitled and awful. Do you have any idea how it must feel to have to turn away neglected animals because you simply can't save them all? Shame on you for bashing someone who spends their time helping the best they can in a sad situation. 3. Rhonda is picky in finding homes for her animals. Why shouldn't she be? My families application was denied for a reason I particularly don't agree with. But I 100% respect her decision. Instead of assuming a stranger knows you and your integrity, try to imagine how hard it is to spend your life seeing abused, severely neglected, and unwanted animals come in over and over again. Try to imagine how painful it is for a person to do their due diligence to find a good home, only to find out the dog was ultimately placed in an uncaring situation. An animal they tried to save. An animal they loved and cared for. I'd be picky as Hell who I adopt to as well. 4. I didn't experience Rhonda being anything but polite with me. But I took the time to be polite with her up front. I'm willing to bet all of you saying Rhonda is rude didn't give her a chance to be polite. At the end of the day what Rhonda and Husky Haven of LA is doing is a service towards animals who don't have a lot of people looking out for them. If you have an issue with that then I'm glad you didn't get a dog. This is about the animals, not Rhonda.
