Bought a ticket for my special needs Adult sister to ride from Eugene, Oregon to Idaho with a stop to switch buses in Seattle. the Driver was very ride from the start so much so she called me because she was upset at his yelling at people for nothing. They arrived at 10:45 pm 15 minutes late but the driver assured her and 1 other lady being transferred that their bus was still there and wouldn't leave them. Well it did leave before they got there and then at 12am they were kicked out in the cold (30 degrees) and freezing and left on a bench for 7 hours overnight scared to death ( have you been downtown in Seattle at night?, she had not.) She was scared at the drugs and fights she was seeing. I lost contact with her after an hour and tried calling customer service, what a joke! Marco (a supervisor) told me after no solution was available I should take better care of my sister in the future and not buy a nightime ticket! That's all they had for Christmas week folks. Then after calling back another supervisor "Bill" told me if I was so upset maybe I should drive the 8 hours myself and take care of her myself because they cant do anything about leaving her outside freezing and scared. I'm appalled that he said this happens often and I should just understand their policies about late buses. you would think communication between the drivers of these buses would fix this, but apparently it is common place. NEVER use Greyhound and never call their customer service because they aren't even in the US! Both times I got India and couldn't understand them very well except their insults. they couldn't even tell me what time it was where she was and wouldn't admit they weren't in the country but it was very obvious they weren't. Greyhound should be ashamed not of just kicking her out in the cold, but telling me I should take better care of my sister when I wasnt even there to do so. read more

Multiple stalls in the women's restroom had compromised locks, so users have to keep pushing the door closed while using the toilet only for the door to bounce right back open. This isn't safe, secure, or comfortable. On the bright side vending machines are fully stocked in case you want to give your money away to sugar, sodium, and/or caffeine. I prefer to speak only when Spokane to. The Spokane bus station has gorgeous rounded walls and silver trim just like a lot of other stations in Washington state do. It looks like it's from the 1950s and it's absolutely adorable. I don't like that the Border Patrol steaks (I mean stakes, but they probably do that too) this place out and scares people. They should be ashamed of themselves. It looks old and a little dimly-lit on the inside but there's plenty of waiting area which is good. It's lovely for Spokane and works perfectly. read more

I took the bus from Lewiston to Spokane. It was pretty much empty and clean. The Spokane Bus terminal was also clean. I just walked from the back to the front so didn't see much. read more

Today I called and the message said they close at 12:15pm 12/19/2018. I drove from the valley and got there with 20 min to spare. They had a sign saying they close at 12:00pm and she had already close everything down. I'd get fired for leaving early and at the same time being rude about it. About a month earlier they stranded my 16 year old son down in Seattle a day . The bus driver refused to let him on although he had everything he needed. That's including the chaperone charge. He also refused to talk to the manager at his own station or his operating manager we had on the phone. I can't help feel this is racist based. read more

Greyhound overbooked a bus and refused to refund the ticket I bought weeks in advance. Their problem and their issue caused my 16 year old nephew to be stranded half a state away. They also don't allow you to start the process to get a refund until 2 hours after this incident occurs. They steal your money! I spent 200 on a ticket and got nothing. Liars and cheaters! read more

I've taken the train and it was ok, not comfortable at all for someone with back issues. I've taken greyhound and it was ok unless you get strandand due a storm then you have to pay for a expensive plane ticket home. Took a lot of talking and convincing to get my money back on that return round. And today I'm trying the FlixBus. First off we all got booted outside in the cold for an hr. I was in a call to a claims case manager when the rude security guy interrupted me causing me to make the important voicemail short/weird and in finished. That is VERY unprofessional and I told him so and he chuckled and didn't seem to care. Why would I even want to give this place a 3 chance? Also air quality is in the moderate zone and I shouldn't be exposed for a long window of time without a mask. Thank you security guy for my chest pains when breathing! read more

Worst experience ever and will never consider this place again. The lady was very rude and the bus driver was very unprofessional. The driver closed me in the door so I called the head offices. They are very dirty and let people do drugs in the bathroom. I am not going to recommend anyone to the place. If I could give a negative five I would gladly do that. They discriminate against people and they need to get their customer service in order. I wish I never bought a ticket here. If only plane tickets were cheaper I would've flown with my dog with me. read more

Dangerous business practices! GREYHOUND NEEDS TO CHANGE THEIR STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURES IN CASES OF AN EMERGENCY. Friday Aug 3 my bus left Spokane bound for our first stop in Pasco, wa. About 90 minutes out of Spokane (1pm) the bus started beeping. It kept beeping for a while and then I noticed we were losing speed and the bus driver was gearing down. This kept up for 5-10 minutes. Finally the bus pulled over on the shoulder and stopped. The bus driver got out and went outside to the back of the bus to investigate. As she stepped back on the bus we expected her to do an announcement.....nothing. She looked disgusted and was shaking her head but was not giving us any information. She went back outside to the back of the bus again followed by passengers who wanted a smoke break. Still no info. One of the other passengers came in & told us that the oil had blown up & it was all over the back of the bus. When the driver came back in and was asked what was going on she finally said we had an emergency and that Greyhound wouldn't just leave us there....BUT THEY DID!!! The break down occurred at 1pm, in mid to upper 80 degree weather, on the side of a sage brush covered hill, with no shade, no water, no air conditioning, no ventilation, no food, no nothing. About an hour after we broke down one of the passengers was asking if any of us had any water. We didn't. But one of the passengers who was outside walked by and told us that an RV had dropped off a case of water and it was outside....sitting next to the driver.....who DID NOT inform anyone inside the bus that there was water. After sitting alongside the road for about 3 hours I finally asked the driver if we had a rescue coming. She said yes, they were sending a bus from Portland! PORTLAND!!!! Mind you, we are 90 minutes from Spokane and 50 minutes from Pasco (our destination). Portland is at least 4.5 -5 hours from where we are by car, let alone by bus. And to make it worse, that bus coming from Portland was going to take everyone BACK to Spokane instead of Pasco. Several of us had been on our phones (which there was no plugins to keep anything charged on board either) trying to find rides or solutions for our destinations. 3 of us found people that could come and get us and at least get us to Pasco to meet up with rides. At 7 pm that same night my husband was driving the same route and texted me to tell me that not only was the bus still there but so were all the passengers!!! He said many of them were outside sitting on their luggage and looked exhausted and hot! After being told that Greyhound was sending a bus from Portland and knowing it should've been there by then I did a little research. They WERE NOT sending a rescue bus....they were waiting for the Portland to Spokane bus to show up at that location on their regular route and pick everyone up on the way to Spokane. That Portland to Spokane bus left Portland at 5pm Friday night with a 12 hour duration from start to finish....which would've put that bus in the area of our broken down bus at 3am!!!!! Which means the bus I was on and the passengers still there were stuck without food, water, etc for 14 hours!! THAT IS UNACCEPTABLE AND DANGEROUS!!! There were SO many other ways this could've been remedied and the drivers lack of customer service didn't help any either. And after all that, we get a refund and a $30 voucher for future use...I think not!!! GREYHOUND NEEDS TO CHANGE THEIR STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURES IN CASES OF AN EMERGENCY. read more

This is a laid back country bus station it's a little dirty but the service is quick and easy the people are nice so don't worry

Whole place is disgusting, stalls in the bathroom are somehow soggy and bend when closing, main area looks like it hasn't been cleaned in months if not years. read more

I took two buses, one going to Everett and the other going to mount Vernon. The first one was on time, however, it was a very hot day and there were no curtains on the large pane windows nor ac was functioning. Felt like an oven for 6 hours. It also had no USB port so I could charge my phone on the long journey. They had tvs but didn't bother turning them on....I wonder what they use them for. The second bus was 4 hours late. Extremely displeased. Train would probably be a better option. read more

This bus line is pathetic. They were once a high class line that had good intentions now every time I or someone I know uses them all I see is how sad they have become. Their customer service is disgusting, their busses are disgusting, they are never on schedule, I have been stranded half way through my travels in a strange random city for 24+ hours twice now with no offer of hotel or transportation accommodations and in some instances they close the terminal so you are left on the streets. Want a refund? Thats funny! If you can weave your way through the maze of service agents over the phone and complain enough to talk to someone with the " ability to authorize" then your refund might be available in 8 weeks. I refuse to use this company again. read more

Not sure what others are expecting from a bus......However.....I have taken Greyhound back and forth from Spokane to Seattle 6 times since April. Not once was a bus late. The buses have never broke down. They are clean. I love the Wi-Fi on the bus. I'm a fan of the train as well but the schedule for it is horrible. The only thing I have to really complain about Greyhound is that they do not run more often. read more

During the past year they really did a great job moving the office upstairs which makes it difficult for the panhandlers to go up to the passengers and begging them for money, I feel a lot safer ever since they've moved the office upstairs and I am so glad they're finally doing something about making the place more comfortable for the bus passengers and less comfortable for the panhandlers. read more
