They made a stressful situation so much easier! Plus, when I turned in the car, they drove me to the dealership to pick up my new car and saved me an Uber ride fee! I don't like dealing with companies that start out by lying to me. I reserved a compact car. When I went to check in I was told that they were out of compact cars and wanted to charge me an extra $7 a day for an "upgrade". I refused as I already had a reservation and a reserved price. After several back and forth tries to get me to agree they agreed to "upgrade" me into another car for no extra charge. (They've upgraded me previous times with no hassle.) Then they proceeded to put me into a Mitsubishi Mirage which IS a compact car according to the manufacturer's website and several other automobile based websites. That seems to be out-and-out fraud to me. The car handled badly on the highway. About the only good thing I could say is that it gave me great gas mileage. I hate to sound so negative, but that was my last experience with Enterprise. I have rented many times with them in the past and never had a bad experience before, but I'm afraid that next time I'll try someplace else. read more

you waited until the literal minute you closed your store last night to ensure you could charge us $300 for a day while our insurance is already trying to fix our issue because our car isn't out of the shop and so you send an automatic message a MINUTE after you close the store last night and charge our card before 8am and your website LIED you aren't open at 7:30 you're open at 9 and you can't be bothered to not take $300 from people who's insurance would have back covered it. you're scum and I'm tired of shady people shady employees and bs companies such as yours. read more

Gavin, Anthony and Rebecca were amazing. I was a tad nervous after reading the reviews but this was in walking distance of our Air BnB so I just went for it and I'm VERY happy I did. They went above and beyond with their customer service bc I goofed up and actually rented the car for the following day but they still accommodated us! Rebecca had great suggestions when we told her where we were going for the day! They all communicated extremely well with each other and us! Even though Gavin and Anthony are both newer managers they didn't miss a beat and I could not tell they hadn't been there for longer than a fess days and a month. My car Audi was in the auto body shop, so my insurance sent me to enterprise to rent my car. I was picked up by a very respectable young man, and overall The staff was very kind, professional and efficient. Sydney, the manager ran a tight ship. They were able to give me a comparable rental. Not only did they give me another Audi, (that now has me questioning my mom Audi suv) they worked with my insurance to make sure I paid nothing out of pocket. Renting the car here was not a bad experience, other than the sales guy being very "salesy". It does always feel like the cost ends up being way more after weird taxes and fees, deposit, etc. I had to park my own car somewhere so I asked if I could park it in the Enterprise parking lot for 2 days. The sales guy said that Enterprise does not own it, (but they use it to park their cars??) and that homeless people may break into it. He seemed like it happens often. I took the chance since there was really nowhere else to leave it. When I returned after 2 days, my car window was smashed in and every single item was taken, including some camp gear. Now obviously it was my call to leave it there but the Enterprise people acted like it was no big deal and could care less. I feel like the parking should be a service of Enterprise since I'm spending $400 to rent their car. Never again. Drove all the way back to Seattle sitting on glass in a completely ransacked car. Downtown Spokane Enterprise. Had a car for 5 weeks due to an accident. Horrible experience. Staff was rude going in, uncooperative in dealing with insurance company and repair shop. Several hours after I returned the car they left me a message saying they were going to charge my credit card $150 for detailing due to pet hair. They did this before they used a vacuum to clean it. (There was some pet hair that was tracked into the passenger foot area, but nowhere else in the car). Kim the manager was especially rude. Thru the employee who checked the car in under the bus. She told me it is within their discretion to determine condition of rental and to charge a detailing fee if they deemed it appropriate. Very frustrating. Avoid Enterprise if you can. read more

The driver who picked me up was wonderful. Alec, who rented the car to me was kind and helpful. The manager who checked my car back in was not my favorite. After telling me when I rented the car the walking back to my hotel would be a horrible/dangerous idea, there was not a ride available when I turned the car in. He was nice enough to help me with my wheelchair, but I was a little nervous after his cautions from earlier in the day. It would have been useful to let me know in advance that you needed to be there by X time in order to get a ride back to the hotel. I'm 62 and use a wheelchair, so I used Enterprise especially to avail myself of the ride feature. read more

After another 20 min called local office and they said they didn't send anyone because I hadn't called to confirm I was ready (even though I had confirmed the day before that I would be picked up). Went in the day after my car was hit in an accident and got in quite fast. however, the car we had picked was completely unprepared despite making the reservation 2 days prior. after half an hour, we pointed out that the passenger side tires were low pressure. they filled them and we were on our way. however, by the end of the day the car broke down on the freeway with a complete flat tire and no spare. roadside assistance had me on wait for over an hour. i drove the flat to my destination 4 minutes away, a very open neighborhood. called again, another hour i finally got a hold of the tow truck through enterprise. they told us 45 minutes to wait, so we got a ride to the nearest enterprise and quickly got a good replacement car. however, back at the flat car we ended up waiting 5 hours, until midnight, for the tow truck. Later, once insurance declared my car totaled due to the cost, enterprise cut our time down from 3 weeks to only one. i talked to insurance and they said they would reimburse us for the time with the rental before we got our check for the totaled car. enterprise however claimed that we now had to pay full price for the full time and charged us $500 without telling us. The check came in 7 days and we had the rental for 8 days. still charged us $500 instead of the $270 insurance said. read more

Worst customer experiences of my life. I'm in absolute disbelief of the call I just had with Yaz and his manager Justin at Enterprise on 3rd ave. They acted like flat out gangsters trying to shake me down. As instructed, I turned the car in last weekend at 9 am prior to their employees arriving at 10 am so I would not be charged another day. I was well aware that I had a balance owed but I was under the impression that this fee had been waived (due to first car having iffy brakes and a smell that was outrageous due to what might have been a bad air filter) or paid by my insurance. I did not receive a single call this week and when I just missed a call on Sunday I immediately called them back to see what was going on. I had also left a couple messages with my adjuster to discuss the claim and had no return call. When I called them back as mentioned, I was immediately attacked by Yaz and called a liar and threatened with collection action. I tried to explain my understanding of the situation and got nowhere due to him talking over me and threatening me. I was so shocked, I could not gather my thoughts. Yaz then out of nowhere, went on to tell me that they would waive the balance if I went on and did the satisfaction survey and rated them a 10 out of 10 and say how awesome my experience was. I told him there is no way that I can go on and do that after this phone call and that I have no problem paying an outstanding balance if there is one. He immediately sent me to his manager Justin and I got much of the same. Sounded like the same guy frankly. Justin went on to tell me they are force charging my account and effecting my credit and hung up. I called right back and he hung up again. I called back a few minutes later after I gathered my thoughts and advised Yaz to contact my insurance and everything should be taken care of. He told me that the balance had been waived due to the way the conversation went. What???? I'm so dizzy right now. I cannot believe what just happened. Funny thing is, if they had called my insurance company they would have been paid because it was deemed a UM claim due to the other party not having insurance. What makes me more upset about the circumstances is that in the work that I do, we have a direct relationship with Enterprise and I have to direct customers their way. How can I in good conscious do this? As of now, I can't. I will be in contact with my management team and Enterprise's corporate office. I'm very disappointed and I feel like I just got mugged in an alley. read more

Explained everything very well and the process was very quick which i loved. I ended up getting a Nissan Sentura for 8 days and it worked perfect for me. I'll admit that my usual rental company is Enterprise and generally I rent away from the airport to avoid the extra fees that go to the airport. That said, this was another great experience and confirms my decision to use Enterprise. I arrived that location, a couple of blocks from my hotel, walked in and within just a couple of minutes the friendly and polite agent had my paperwork ready (I'd prebooked). As I was using a email discount coupon he made sure to double check to make sure I had the lower possible rate. And yes, he did offer an upgrade, but honestly I almost never take them; I like smaller cars for their convinience. The car itself had CA plates in Spokane so it likely had been a one-way drop off at some point in the past, but for all that it was in good shape and I had no mechanical issues with the vehicle. It was very clean and no one had been smoking in it at any point in the past as far as I could tell. I used the car sparingly for the 5 days I had it with no trouble. I like to walk a lot so while I generally have a car when I travel, I tend not to drive unless there's bad weather or I need to haul things; groceries, paperwork, etc. My rental return was equally pleasant with another friendly agent. He checked the car quickly and gave me my receipt within five minutes of my returning to the site. Clearly it wasn't that busy which helped but this agent was very familiar with what needed to be done and didn't dally. I was offered a ride back to the hotel, but I was headed to the restaurant across the street for breakfast (Frankie Doodle's - big, big omelets btw), and a final walk around Spokane. BTW - this location is on a one-way street so be sure to plan your return or you may end up circling a block or two to get the right heading. No, this didn't happen to me. I remembered from my first visit and passed the place on my way to the hotel (Quality Inn) every day. Mahalo for the great service! read more

Zero stars if I could. Fiancé and I were up in Spokane visiting family. We had pre-reserved a car for a road trip. We were unable to get there for time scheduled when we called, enterprise offered to have someone pick us up. We ended up finding a ride to the enterprise so we called and canceled the ride. When we showed up to enterprise, Nicole "Nicky" Nickeson the assistant manager immediately gave us attitude and stated that she was pretty pissed that her sent driver, that was offered, was gone for an hour and that they would not be able to get the fuel "wasted" back and it was a waste of time. We told her it wasn't our fault as we were trying to find rides and they were the ones who offered. We asked her would you like us to go rent somewhere else and she proceeded to say "sure if you'd like!" Never making eye contact, in front of her other employees. So unprofessional. Guy helping us looked uncomfortable. He apologized for her behavior when he walked us out to our car but doesn't make it right. If we had another option to rent a car from we would have from somewhere else. read more

So I don't leave very many reviews, but I feel this particular individual working at this location changed a potentially terrible experience into a good one. So here is the story... my wife and I flew into Spokane for a friend's wedding and we rented a car from Alamo for the weekend. They gave us a 2017 Chevy Malibu, not my first choice but it would suffice for what we needed. We drove into downtown and parked in a garage for about an hour. After starting the car to leave leave the check engine light popped up and a message saying " reduced engine power" came on. Great. We limp it out of the parking garage and onto a 1 way street. We find a place to park and called the customer service line (which was worthless) after about 2 calls and several pre-recorded messages, we get through to an agent that says our *only options are either to 1: Wait over an hour for a tow, take us back to the airport and switch out the car or 2: Wait 2-4 hours for them to drive out and exchange us cars, neither of which were convenient in the least. After several more frustrated calls the, local office at the airport directed us to their sister company Enterprise in downtown, and was only like 1 mile from us. We limped the vehicle over and Grant Deniston came out to us seeing what we needed. We explained what was going on and he was very sympathetic to our situation. In about 10 min we were switched to another rental (sequoia) at no cost. ( not to mention the airport office was suppose to call ahead, but didn't). So for Grant to go out of his way to accommodate us was above and beyond. They were very booked because of graduations etc this weekend, but he still handled it professionally. We would like to extend our thanks to him, and he made the difference between what could have been an evening ruining experience, to us getting back onto the road. Thanks again Grant! read more

I can't say enough good things about this branch they deserve 10 stars****. I took my rental car (from a different branch) out, took a wrong turn and got stuck at the bottom of a hill in a snow storm. Alec and Sebastian came down and tried to drive my car up the hill but it just slid back down. Alec offered roadside assistance but I decided to use AAA to tow me. The AAA tow truck showed up and said that my car was too heavy for him to pull up the hill so he left me stranded. Alec saved me, he sent Sebastian to pick me up, brought me back to the office, got me another car and said he could figure out what to do about the car I left at the bottom of the hill. This is is the meaning of customer service. Thank you Alec and Sebastian for being my heroes in green and black. read more

Nice people initially, but beware of aggressive upselling. I went to pick up a car and declined the $25 daily insurance fee, since my regular insurance covers it. This is when the transaction went from friendly to upsetting. First, they tried appealing to convenience: "Wouldn't it be handy in case of an accident if you had our insurance? Then economics: "How much is your deductible? This would save you the deductible." Then intimidation: "Show me your insurance card." (In many years of renting cars, mostly from Enterprise, I have never been asked for this and didn't have it.) Then implied threat of what might happen: "You'd better get your insurance card in this car, or the police could give you a citation." "I don't have it. Won't the rental paperwork suffice?" "We don't give you paperwork; it's all electronic. lf the police stop you, you'd be in trouble without your own coverage, but with our coverage, it would pop up on the record." Also, just a random shot: "I never heard of an insurance company telling you to decline insurance." Up until then, it had been a pleasant exchange, but I couldn't wait to get out of there. read more

Just got back from a trip to see my daughter's in California. Overall everything wasn't to bad. Had some unfortunate episodes with the rental car. Ended up paying twice as much more than if we would have just flew instead. I think there could have been better service for my fiance and myself. One of the customer service representatives Alec could definitely work on his arrogant attitude, especially when a customer is seeking empathy, but maybe he's just a racist. So I get a reservation set up for an upcoming Washington Trip and I call in to get confirmation and details. Amber (Sales Rep) picks up and you can already tell she is not liking her job from the moment she starts to talk with this obnoxious attitude. Not customer friendly at all. I continue to ask about my reservation details and find out that during summer months Enterprise's practice is to remove the option for "one way" trips meaning you can't pick up in one city and drop off in a different city. News to me, would've been nice to have that stated somewhere on the website or be informed by the sales rep when I called originally the first time right after making the reservation. Amber proceeds to tell me this and I'm not in a good mood about it, she then suggests to switch the reservation over to the Airport sales office which does allow "one way". I clearly state that I would rather look at my options first before making that decision and that I would call back. I guess she has wax buildup, because she repeated her "suggestion" back to me verbatim like a scratched vinyl recording as if I didn't hear her. So I made it very clear to her and even slowed my voice with distinct intonation to ensure proper pitch levels so she would understand, then quickly hung up, because I was beyond annoyed with this woman who had to have been 21 and doesn't care about getting fired. After finding a better deal elsewhere, I quickly called back to cancel and got Amber again. I asked her to cancel the reservation and she said "ok, sorry for the inconvenience". The call ended and I didn't think much of it until today when I was flipping through my emails and came across the Enterprise confirmation I clicked on the Cancellation link just to see and lo and behold it was NOT cancelled. Thankfully, there was no money transaction involved so I didn't have that headache to deal with, but seriously Lying??! I'm not through with you Amber, expect a call from your Corporate offices soon. Lying to a customer does not sit well with me especially at my expense. Good luck with your future endeavors as a McDonald's cashier, because I will make sure you get fired from Enterprise. read more

The employee are very sweet to work with but the only reason I give them a 1 star is because I called Enterprise 25 minutes before arriving to return my rental car and ask if they could call a cab to have it there when I arrived. The gal at Enterprise assured me that they would call a cab for me and have it there when I arrived. But the cab driver named, "MJ" showed up 25 minutes late from the time I requested so I missed my flight which cost me an extra $262.00 to rebooked the next flight out to the next nearest airport to my destination. I hope that Enterprise does not continue to loose business because they use an unreliable cab service. read more

I rent cars here all the time and I am put through the hassles of doing so. first off they give you zero choices except for coming close in size. if im driving someplace I want a car we are comfortable in , not one that is somewhat close. they will not guarantee anything so they stuff you in a mid size when you ask for a premium . a mid size Malibu is 2 inches longer than a Nissan versa ! the hours to drop off on Sunday are by 2 pm . no night drop available ? hmmmmmm well it can only be this way in order to stick you with another day rental . you can enjoy looking at their car in your driveway over night though that's nice I guess. and yes they will charge you! only after you get transferred to customer service to somebody who speaks 6 other languages but English will they waive the overnight charge . just thought why not say something this time for all to see, im moving on to what i hope will be a better place with at least a stitch of customer service . read more
