Definately not worth the $40 I paid. If you like a lenghty history lesson coupled with watching tv by all means go. I can jave both done for free. While I usually do not engage directly directly to the tour creator, I felt it had be done as I was thouroughly dissastisfied with the experience.  Firstly, it started with the poor signage and the difficulty of finding the place. I had to go next door and ask numerous people where the tour was. In the rain. Definately set the mood for the evening.  Next, I was so disappointed and aggravated at how late the actual tour started. 9:53pm was when we were given the equipment to begin exploring. A WHOLE HOUR later. Not a good sign. Before said time, we just sat and talked pointlessly when that time should have been suited for the exploration itself. It speaks on how amateur and inexperienced the tour is.  Next during the actual exploration more time was spent watching a tv program (GHOST ADVENTURES of the Travel Channel) regarding their investigation of the property. If I wanted to watch the show I could have just tuned into the Travel Channed and watched the show and not have paid $$ to do it. The investigation itself I feel it could have been so much better. My Ovulus kept repeating the same words of one other customer. Perharps a sign of outdated equipment or a pre programmed glitch?? My dissastifaction got so bad I had to actually leave before the tour was over. I left at 1040pm. After all was said and done, after talking pointlessly and watching a tv program I could have done at home, I only got less than 40 minutes of proper investigation. Definately not what they advertise as 90 MINUTES. Further, after talking to the owner his response was, and I quote " we have done this thousands of times so we must be doing something right" and "that is your opinion". Arrongace my friends is the enemy of change so I hardly think this tour will continue for much longer if they do not listen to their guests. While I am entitled to my opinion, I also feel the people should know exaclty what to expect- which is disappointment and an unorganized tour. Pass. Savannah's Best Bet for a Ghosty Experience. My husband and I recently ventured across the country to check out Savannah, one of the country's most historical and architecturally beautiful cities. Being interested in anything ghostly on television, I searched for and found The Gribble House Paranormal Experience. Even better, I got a great deal on tickets through Groupon which is a free service, you really need to check in to. Our taxi dropped us off 15 minutes before our 10 p.m. reservation time. Tracey greeted us at the door and we were introduced to Gaary the head investigator. They were very knowledgeable of the equipment and considerate to everyone's level of ghost hunting. We were told the history of the building and it's surroundings and then we broke up into two groups to start investigating. All of the tools you see on the Ghost Hunters and Ghost Adventures were used...it was totally cool to actually hear words coming from the Ghost Box and Ovilus X. It was actually kindof creepy, but in a good way. Be prepared to have a lot of questions to ask, and be prepared to be patient to hear the answers. It was a blast 'talking' to the ethereal beings. I wish we had a Gribble House Paranormal Experience company in our city. Bottom line: Just Boo it... I mean just do it you won't regret it. Went on 7/27/2015 My boyfriend and I decided to do this our first night in Savannah instead of the ghost tours, and we are so glad we did. We arrived at about 7:45 and it started at 8 pm. There were 13 people who came total; one group had already been before, so they went on ahead while the rest of us learned the history of the place and listened to some recordings taken. There was one skeptic in the group. Kelley was our guide for the night and she was super sweet and very informative. If you ever got stuck on what to ask then she'd help. She always checked in on all the groups and also took her own recordings. We also talked to her afterwards about personal experiences with paranormals. Anyway, they have a wide range of equipment and if you want more advanced stuff you can ask for it. We were paired up with a family of 3 which two of them were too scared to do very much and the father did ask questions. My boyfriend and I asked most of the questions which some included asking them to touch his hand which then did get significantly colder and asking if they could tell me what color my hair was which was responded with orange (my hair is pink so it's pretty close and kinda freaky). Kelley did explain no one has gotten harmed except people who were belligerent and provoked spirits. Although, a couple weird things happened... Like she brought some more chairs to an area so more of us could sit, and one of them just fell over. Someone asked if a spirit had done it, and there was a distinct yes... And then a few minutes later one other person and I heard a chair bang but no one else did... And then there was a loud slam on the wall behind us which was brick with a small wood piece in front of it, so it was really freaky. We all went somewhere else, haha. Anyway, slave house was the best room lots of activity. we got a ton of recordings and it was a really neat experience. The skeptic of the group was super hyped at the end of the night as he asked to use some of the more advanced equipment and he got great results. Apparently one of them spelled out his daughters nickname from when she was a kid, super weird! Anyway it was a great experience and Kelley was awesome. We'd really like to go again if we ever visit Savannah in the future. read more

I went to the gribble house 8/11/16 and it turned out to be only six of us. It was a nice intimate group. We got there at 8:45 and started right up around 9. You learn a lot of really neat history and background about the location (I.e the gribble house itself, general store, slave quarters). They show you a really cool clip from a ghost adventures investigation done there as well. Getting into the warehouse at first is a little nerve wrecking but as the night goes on it got better. Our group stared in the general store. We interacted with multiple spirits and got a lot of activity on all our devices. The most activity was in the slave quarters. It was definitely an experience. What's so unique about the gribble house is 1. You absolutely cannot beat the price. 2. You get to use real equipment that you see on tv which is definitely awesome. I would most definitely recommend doing this while in Savannah if you're into paranormal things. I would even choose this over most of the ghost tours in the area! read more

Stopped by the kiosk in Market Center to look at some of the different ghost tours and stuff the wife wanted to do on our weekend trip to Savannah. There we met Willie who said he was leading the Gribble House Paranormal Experience that evening. He is a good sales person if nothing else. The wife decided that she wanted to do this instead of a Ghost trolley tour. It was about twice as expensive as the trolley tour, but hey you only live once and Willie was a great sales person about it. So we arrive at the warehouse about 10:30 PM and are let into the building at about 10:45 PM. There was about 15 people there in total for the Saturday night event. Of course many are excited and one lady just had to start asking questions and go off on tangents. Willy was nice enough to answer questions and spend the next hour telling ghost stories. What did place my mind at ease was basically being told that the event would not end at 1:00 am but go well on to make sure we got our monies worth. After waiting on the trolley cars to stop their tours we headed into a hot open warehouse. After given a short history of the area and events we were given "professional" equipment and let out to "investigate". They swapped us from place to place, in small groups of 4-5 people to talk with the spirits. All in all we investigated for about 2 and a half hours. I was pleased with the time allowed.. So what was I not pleased with? 1) My first MAJOR complaint was "spirit boxes" that they used... There is a belief that spirits can talk though the "white noise" in the AM or FM channels of the radios and if your scan the channels quick enough you can here what is being said. However, the spirit boxes used by the Gribble house tour go slow. They had them set at about 600 milliseconds (about 1 channel per .5 - .6 of a second). This is similar to turning the radio dial on your car stereo system quickly. What will be heard, are a combination of stations broadcasting music, commercials, news, talk shows, and some static noise. These ongoing broadcasts communicate names, places, times, dates, and numbers, and other wordings. When the Ghost Box is used, typical questions are asked, such as, "What is your name?" or "Where are you from?" or "How did you die?" and so on. As the Ghost Box scans through these AM channels it will produce jumbled names, places, and numbers etc. that are commonly broadcast. This is not even "white noise" from which the so-called spirits of the dead. It is merely the broadcasted signals providing the words as they are quickly scanned. The staff says that the answers they receive are not random, but are very specific responses to their questions. But that is not true and more than a few rational explanations can be provided through psychology. So what happened when a few in our group upped the scan rate to 250 milliseconds? It still was not white noise (You need greater than 1000 times per second for that) but no "words" were coming through and parts of songs and the spirits quit "communicating". So, while I believe in "spirit boxes" I also believe that the tour is not using them right and passing off the almost 1 second broadcast of the AM station that says the name "John" as the spirit talking to the John in the group. Furthermore, they guides like to say that some spirits speak in Spanish to people. Funny, we had a native Spanish speaker in our group. Yes, there were a few random Spanish words that came through We were told, "See they are speaking Spanish to you!" by Willie. BUT there are several Spanish AM radio channels and so we watched what channels were being scanned when the Spanish words came across and they were in the range of the Spanish Channels. So "Si" is not an uncommon almost 1 second word to be spoken on a Spanish AM channel when you radio is only canning just under 1 second per channel. Bullocks!!! I can say that I had fun. The experience will be different for each person because it depends on how much you believe when it comes to spirits and stuff. I wish more would have happend. I did manage to get a cool picture of what is suppose to be an "orb". The tour guide was very helpful and funny. He was the best part. read more

Great experience, something a little different then the average ghost tour, you are conducting an investigation with a group of people, my group was great (6) people, I heard a few choice words through the ghost box that the instructor says may be a spirit named Paul who does not take to well to strong women, very intriguing. Some of the people in my group had chills, dull headache etc, I did not feel that, but what I did feel was when the investigation was done, we were all walking back into the (safe) room ie. meeting room, I was the last one to file in, totally black behind be, no one on the sides of me, I felt a tugging on my pocketbook, maybe it was Paul saying good bye. read more

Not worth the $50 I paid on groupon. Kelly was nice, but the experience otherwise was boring. You pay to sit in a warehouse and play with an electronic that scans radio channels. The other toys were just toys that lit up whenever a "presence" was near. read more

I've never experienced anything like it. This was truly an incredible experience and I encourage everyone (including skeptics) to go and investigate. The guides were very kind and enthusiastic, I enjoyed every minute (even the scary moments) and I would definitely do it again. read more
