She said no my wife then asked if she could get the lab results from last Thursday to take to the emergency vet she rudely said I had already received the results, my wife stated no we did not, the receptionist rudely stated well maybe u should check your messages. This kind of behavior towards a client during an emergent call is unacceptable. We took our dog to another vet who was kind and compassionate. Sadly our dog passed and it was devastating to be treated like this!

Showed up Saturday morning with no scheduled appointment. Had a horrible night with my girl with her panting and breathing uncontrollably the whole night. No sleep for either of us. Davies was able to accommodate us and see my little girl. I do wish collecting an emergency pay could wait til the end but I'm sure they have dealt with a lot of no pays so I get it.. the doc looked her over, prescribed a small pharmacy of medicines but she is so much better now. Kudos Davies. Thanks for taking care of my gremlin again.

Overall I think this is the best vet you'd be able to find in Yuba…read more You can get an appointment pretty easily for a dog not as much for a cat from my experience They helped me with both my cat and dog and send texts and emails reminding when shots are due or when appointments are made Everything here is clean and up to date They did shave part of my dogs head once which I asked them not to because he has a hot spot there I told them " you can shave wherever just please not on his head" because he's very fluffy and I didn't want him to walk around looking crazy and they still did and then charged me for it and it didn't up not even being a hotspot there.. They gave my cat some ear meds that turned his ear purple and then when I contacted them about it I had to wait a couple days before I could take him back because staff was out of town that could help my cat Then they prescribed a new ear meds for him I took him home and he just started going to town itching them I called Davies they said " oh yeah just get him a cone he shouldn't be licking that" I lived 45 minutes from anywhere where I could get one.. why tf didn't they tell me when I was there I have no idea Other than those experiences I'd still say there a good vet I just hate seeing my pets uncomfortable due to miscommunication on behalf of staff

She said yes, she can see the resemblance and that was the end of it. The next month, I picked up insulin for my dog without any issues and again the month after that, I picked up insulin for my dog, yet again without any issues. Then a few days ago, I called in his prescription and they said, that they would fill it. It was his last refill, before needing blood work done again. Then just 2 days ago, I received a voicemail, while I was asleep, saying that I am no longer a serviceable client, due to an incident in their office. If they are referring to the conversation that took place 3 months ago, it wasn't an incident, it was a conversation and if that's what they are referring to, why is it now an incident, 3 months after the fact? Regardless of their reasons, if they don't want me as a client, that's fine, but don't let my dog suffer without insulin, over a 3 month old complaint. They are the only Vet, that had my dog's records and therefore, it would cost me hundreds of dollars, just to have him seen at another Vet and to have a Blood Glucose Curve done. No new Vet, will just give you insulin for your dog, without an initial screening and without a Blood Glucose Curve. I work long hours and 6 days a week right now, so scrambling to find a Vet, that would see my dog in the next day or two, was gonna be a challenge and that's not even considering the monetary aspect of it. I had to come up with a few hundred dollars and find a Vet that would see him immediately, just to get his insulin, which he hasn't had in 2 days. I still had 1 refill for my dog, so I suggested that I pay over the phone and send a friend in, to pick it up, but they refused to release, his last refill. Diabetic dogs shouldn't go more than 2-3 days without insulin, as it could cause life threatening issues. So whatever the issue was, which wasn't bad at all, they blew it out of proportion and they were willing to let my dog die, all because they took the word of one of their staff members and didn't even hear my side of it. Professionally, they should have let me know, what the complaint was and allowed me to share my side of it. I am only guessing, that it was the conversation that took place 3 months ago. I was able to round up enough money and I found a Vet that would see him today, so I took him to the new Vet and paid for the initial visit and a bottle of insulin for my dog. They scheduled an appointment 2 weeks out, to do a Blood Glucose Curve for him, but they gave me a bottle of insulin anyways, to save my dog's life. Whatever the incident was, I can assure you, it wasn't inappropriate, or sexual in nature. Even if she felt uncomfortable about it, why complain about it 3 months later? Why choose to not treat my dog, over something that I may, or may not have said, without hearing my side of it? I still don't even know what's it's about. Either way, they were gonna let my dog die, because if I wasn't able to come up with the money, or find a Vet that would see him immediately, he would have continued to go without his insulin. Not wanting me as a client is fine. Letting my dog suffer, or die, is not fine. I was even willing to pay for the insulin, over the phone and have a friend pick it up, but even that was denied. Luckily, I found another Vet, that was able to see him and they gave me a bottle of insulin to take home and scheduled the Blood Glucose Curve, for 2 weeks out. They saved my dog's life. I won't mention the Vet that saved my dog's life, not in this negative post, as I don't want anyone to be confused on who the negative post is about. I will write about, the positive experience that I had with the rescuing Vet, in a separate review. I don't usually write reviews, but this was about my dog and his life wasn't valued enough, to even get his last refill. I get defending your staff, but I did nothing wrong and still don't even know for sure, what the complaint was about. Even so, my dog could have died, because of the complaint, that if I am right, wasn't even an incident.

A couple brought in their elderly dog to be euthanized as I was leaving, and the tenderness with which she treated them was what I would like to see from everyone in the world. Just true kind caring people. There were no unnecessary procedures or expenses. Just the office visit plus the medication's that I needed for my cat. Much appreciated. Just one thing I would like to see done differently in the office is for the synthetic fragrance dispensers (plugins and candles) to stop being used. They are toxic to humans and animals.

I had to ask for information regarding the shots that the puppy had done so far, what kind of food he ate and so on. Which is not normal from what I hear most people experience when getting a new pet. Even though the delivery date was confirmed several times by the seller and paid for in full by me, she still cancelled less then a week before the arranged delivery date. When I pointed out that it in fact was a breach of contract not to deliver on the agreed date confirmed in writing, and without offering any kind of solution - I was told that she was not dealing with "people like me" she offered to return my money. I accepted and was then told that I would have my money back right away. This however was not the case, the seller had the audacity not to provide financial coverage for the return, so her bank kept on declining it. Thankfully the transfer was made through Paypal who then got involved and made sure that I got my money back. I cannot recommend doing business with this place if you do make sure to use PayPal.

Ryan got yelled at for whispering to me while she was talking. The second week she became a bully towards me she yelled at me two times. The first time was, "You better keep your hands together and not touch the rope with your right hand or I am going to come over there and tie them together with a rope my f'ing self" "You better pay attention and do it right because your stupidity is wasting class time". I think you get the idea. It was horrible and no way to treat someone that paid you $200. I no longer recommend Daughterty Dog training.
