It was wonderful to be able to call Big Trees and set a time to see their trees. Daniel took us around and also helped us as we considered several types of trees. We determined that a Somerset Red Maple would be large enough and that it would be relatively easy on yard maintenance. The tour helped us decide that we really needed a tall (30' feet) to enjoy in the next few years. Big Trees was excellent at setting up a date and delivering the tree. It was amazing just to watch the equipment as they dug the hole and planted the tree (see pictures). Now we just need to follow their directions. Felix and the staff planting the tree were easy to work with. They helpled take down and reinstall part of our fence and they cleaned upt he site very well.

Their main customers are nurseries and landscapers. The great thing for us home gardeners they have bagged potting soil or you can bring a 5 gallon bucket or container of choice ie barrel or pick-up truck or they will deliver! The prices are amazing! So much less than a big box store's bags!! I have been getting supplies from ProGro for over 25 years. I have had a dump truck load delivered when we were doing major landscaping projects. I start seeds using their product, transfer seedlings into larger pots for the warm house then move them into the garden. My raised beds are filled with the veggie mix + all the years of adding the plant starts. I have large 5 gallon hanging baskets on a deck, I refill them every year....great flowers! I have taken barrels of mix to the senior center, my garden club maintains large planters of flowers, veggies and herbs for them to use. Again, terrific place to do business with....definitely a 5 stars business!
