DO NOT rent from Laureate property management. I did, and it was a huge mistake that has cost…read morethousands and thousands of dollars, and a TON of time . I moved into an apartment in 11/23 and moved out in 5/24. In this short time: * my apartment flooded with sewage five separate times. Each time, a plumber came and took many hours to clean and fix the weird plumbing system in the apartment (the plumbing system PLUGS IN btw). On top of having to deal with all this, they then charged me thousands of dollars to pay for the plumber. * I received a "violation" while still moving into the apartment for having outdoor items in the yard. This large yard was the main reason I chose this apartment, yet I found out after moving in that I wasn't actually allowed to use the yard. They cited lines in the lease, which did not actually say this. They just pretended it did, knowing that's not what it said. * they threatened to come steal my bikes out of my yard if I did not move them inside. I ended up having to involve the police to prevent them from taking my things. * I had to use spackle to fill the countless holes in the walls, that bugs would crawl out of. I had asked them to fix it but they said it was "part of the style". * After moving out all of my things, I spent two full days cleaning the apartment so that it was in the same condition as when I got there, yet they are refusing to return a cent of my security deposit. They have $1700 of my money that they are refusing to return. * they are trying to charge me rent for the month after I moved out. I was out of the apartment by midnight on 5/31. Asked on the 1st what to do with the keys, and dropped them off on the 2nd. They are now trying to charge me for Julne rent and are claiming that an "employee saw me there in the 3rd". More lies and attempted theft. These people are liars and thieves and this behavior is condoned by the "higher ups". They are running an unethical money-making scheme and have no remorse whatsoever about scamming a single mom out of thousands of dollars I do not have. In summary, DON'T do business with Laureate under any circumstance. They are predators who do not care about what is right or wrong. Their goal is to make as much money as they possibly can, at the expense of people just trying to have a place to live in peace.

There's been a lot of odds and ends work that needed to be done on the property that I lived in and they were always prompt to send out a repair person within 24 hours of a request being sent. They would even follow up with us when we may have let a contractor slip through the cracks. I highly recommend them and all their staff has been nothing but courteous and kind. Claire was my specific point of contact and whatever they are paying her isn't enough for how hard that girl works. She doesn't miss a beat and always makes times for tenant questions or concerns. A rockstar employee for a great woman-owned company.

Upon initial interactions with my short term (1 month rental) the process seemed friendly enough, LOTs of emails, background check, docusigns and additional ADMIN fees not part of the original listing; just to stay in an apartment for 1 month(while I was looking for a long term place). Looking back I should have just used Airbnb to make it more seamless... Upon extension of my short term lease, I was stuck in a tough situation where I needed to make an unforeseen change to my short term lease, less than 24 hours after signing. I promptly contacted Fox Management to clearly explain and asked to make an addendum to the lease. I was met with absolutely zero flexibility, a complete lack of empathy, ignored emails, ignored phone calls, unreturned voice messages, absolute disregard for people transitioning into new living situations from Tiffany and Ross. Management cited "we're a business we have to do what is best for our business" and "we are too busy, we'll look at that later". Fox Property management touts.... "smooth, thoughtful, guest centered operations" "bringing a sense of ease, comfort, and care into every stay".... I was met with the complete opposite from the short term management team. I can wholeheartedly say that this company has zero interest in helping you have a smooth experience, and is solely operating to gouge you with extra fees and maximize their return and benefit on the already overpriced properties they manage in Boulder. Absolutely shameful. Steer clear.
