What followed was a complete breakdown at every step of the process. Delivery alone took FOUR separate attempts: * One driver showed up, didn't call, and just left. * Another delivery was missing part of the order entirely. * I had to make four separate trips to the store myself just to try to sort things out. Then came the installation -- which somehow made things worse. The same third-party team that measured my kitchen showed up to install and then told me multiple cabinets don't even fit. How does that happen when THEY did the measurements? At this point, I'm out hundreds of dollars on a project that should have been straightforward. After I raised these issues, I was contacted and apologized to, and told they would "make it right." Since then? Silence. * I called the Pro Desk again yesterday and was told upper management would call me back -- no one did. * Tonight, at 10 PM, I received an automated email saying my cabinets are being canceled because they've been sitting too long. No resolution. No follow-up. Just canceled. So to recap: * Multiple failed deliveries * Incorrect/missing items * Installers who mismeasured and caused cabinets not to fit * Out-of-pocket costs with no resolution * Broken promises from management * Zero follow-through, ending in an automated cancellation email This has been a complete waste of time, money, and energy. If you're considering using Home Depot Schererville for a full kitchen project -- especially involving delivery and third-party installation -- I strongly recommend thinking twice. I'm still waiting for someone to actually take responsibility and fix this. I bought a 3 inch Korky toilet flapper for $17 for a Mansfield. It snaps on to the front, but a…read morevery small plastic piece broke off. I did not understand how the black rubber replacement piece fit on...but Korky Co. places a rubber connector to adjust size and probably when that plastic piece breaks off which the flapper swings from. I decided to go back and ask for a replacement flapper since the box says 5-year warranty. I explained to the guy I tried to put the flapper on carefully but the plastic piece broke off not knowing what the black rubber piece was for in the box or knowing how to use it. I asked why Leeps would not just give me a replacement since there is a 5-year warranty on the box. Shady, isn't it?? He was doing something else on his computer and seemingly did not want to be bothered. BTW.....It was 430pm and I was the only person in the store. I replied..."I didn't want to offend you by lying. I was respectfully being truthful with him because I've always been a loyal customer." I even asked him...."so are you saying I have to touch base with the Wisconsin based company to get a replacement?" He didn't respond. He looked stunned...because I questioned him. I then took a pass on buying the other flapper, left the store, and told him.....I'm going to light it up online. Hence this post. Random isn't the word for the assortment of merchandise: some furniture,…read moresome clothing, lots of men's shoes, few women's shoes, area rugs, toilet paper, some decor, a larger appliance section, a few toys and games, small appliances, single cans of soda, sparkling water, Monster, even some pet items. And dozens of suitcases of all colors! If you need luggage you will love the variety here. I'm working in the area this week and happened to see this store which is near my hotel. The furniture is very nice and extremely reasonably priced. I found a couple of couches that I would have considered purchasing IF I wasn't 3 hours from home and IF I was driving a truck. There were men's Land's End shoes for $5 a pair. A great deal! In fact everything I saw was a very good deal. I've never seen a store like this before. A fun place to shop! If I lived nearer I would stop in frequently! We definitely don't have a store like this in Carmel where I live. I'll add that everything was well organized and prices were clearly marked. Last Chance Overstock sells the things that didn't sell at other stores. It's the Island of Misfit Merchandise, if you will. (Will you?) My children had a fun time sitting in all of the chairs and couches around the store. A big portion of the store is dedicated to furniture, and the store-people are 100% OK with you and your children sitting on every couch and lying on every bed. My kids wanted to find the most comfortable couch, and they chose the one with plush corduroy that had cup holders and a USB plug. They wanted to buy it, but we live many miles away, and also, there is no way I'm inviting a couch with cupholders and a USB plug into my home. Get bent, kids. You need to look at the products carefully, because some of the things are a little worse for the wear. But for the most part, most of the items I saw at Last Chance looked perfectly fine. I wouldn't come here to find something specific, because inventory changes frequently, but this is a good place to browse and find a treasure.
