The Buffalo chicken was tasty, but the whole salad was onions and sopping in dressing. We then found a black molded rotten tomato and honestly we were sick to our stomachs after that. Like I was insisting the salad at that point and ended up finding that but what else did we already eat that was just totally rotten ?? 2/10 only for the chicken salvaging the flavor for this dish. When we told the waitress that this was distressing, like we came out to get our of the house with our baby and this was the meal (so disappointing) she did not automatically offer to take the rotten salad off the bill. And there are straw wrappers and bits of food on the floor, kind of like the Texas Roadhouse peanut situation, except it's not peanuts. Shortly after I was seated, they swept the floor, so I'm assuming it wasn't intentional lol. So, yeah. First Watch on crack? Maybe? First watch's angsty step sibling? First Watch with obnoxiously loud music and a little harder of an edge. And honestly, First Watch and Morning Fuel are part of the same genre. You know what you're getting. And the genre is over priced diner. As far as the food goes, I got the stuffed French toast with blueberry drizzle, and it was really good. It did its job. Nothing spectacular, but a perfectly good breakfast. Overall, I'd say Morning Fuel is pretty average, but these places are kind of a genre unto themselves, and I can see why people like them.
