If you have food allergies, DON'T go to this restaurant! When I asked my server to make sure that what I ordered didn't contain my allergen, the cook came out and TOLD ME TO LEAVE. She said that they cook with that vegetable a lot and they couldn't guarantee that the cutting boards or knives weren't cross contaminated. The Serve Safe laws in this state specifically require all items to be thoroughly washed before be used for a different ingredient. Obviously the cook wasn't sure that they follow this law or she wouldn't have refused to serve me. I have lived with this food allergy for over 50 years and have traveled the world, never once having any establishment treat me this way. I went for the Cukes special which blended black eyed peas, quinoa, peppers, and other fresh ingredients into a wonderful dish. Grazery has been a breath of fresh air in the Carlisle area. The fresh Mediterranean style cuisine is delicious, healthy and reasonably priced for the quality of the food. It's clear that the owners have put some thought into the recipes and items on the menu which presents enough options to switch things up while always getting consistently tasty food. The methodology of providing an easy way to order half sandwich/salad combinations is something more restaurants should embrace.
