    Greek salad

This was a fun spot for some good Greek food! I got the Tiropita appetizer, very good, and the pork souvlaki plate. It came with a lot of food so I left with some food in a to go box. I really enjoyed the fries and souvlaki. Here you order at the counter for either dine in or to go. If you dine in, like I did, they give you a number to bring to your table and then they bring out the food. They also have staff going around to refill your drinks or bring you anything you might need. I also picked up an order of a Tiropita tray for an event. They were very accommodating with my catering order and I told them I'd eat and then grab it before I left. They checked in before preparing my order to make sure it would be as fresh as possible.

We love this place! It's one of those places that you know you will get a good meal time after time. My daughter wanted to go for lunch here over Thanksgiving break. We shared an order of the Greek fries. She got a Gyro and I ordered a small Greek salad with the Gyro meat. Everything was fantastic and fresh. I find that there is always more food than I can eat. You order at the counter and your food is brought to you. They will check in with you to see if you'd like to order any desserts or anything else. They have done such a nice job decorating both the indoor and outdoors. From the table top fire pits to the water feature inside, it's just a beautiful place to eat.

Hellenic Kouzina has been on my "must-visit" list for a while, so when I discovered their food truck at an event I was attending, I knew my moment had finally come. Their brick-and-mortar location is a charming BYOB café with traditional Greek dishes and espresso drinks, but their mobile kitchen is a sleek black haven of deliciousness on wheels. The food truck menu was small but mighty--apps and gyros galore--but I had to go big for my first Hellenic Kouzina experience. So yes, I ordered the loaded fries... for breakfast. Fresh-cut fries piled with gyro meat, crumbled feta, and creamy feta dressing. At $20 a box, my hopes were high. When I say "box," I mean box. Think Amazon-shipping-box sized, heavy with food, radiating an aroma that had me drooling before I even opened it. Inside? Layers upon layers of crispy fries, perfectly seasoned gyro meat, and just the right amount of dressing--enough to keep it rich and flavorful without turning everything soggy. Every bite was loaded with flavor, and yes, there were actual moans of happiness involved. Two hungry adults couldn't even finish it, and that's saying something. The best part? The leftovers reheated beautifully the next day--round two was just as glorious as round one. And I have to give them credit: they did not skimp on the gyro meat. The staff at the food truck were friendly, service was surprisingly quick, and the quality was absolutely worth the $20. Hellenic Kouzina knocked it out of the park, and now their brick-and-mortar location is officially at the top of my dining list.

The best Greek food and definitely worth a trip to Mechanicsburg. Amazing food! If I lived here I would eat here everyday! The chicken gyro was wrapped in a warm and fluffy pita with juicy chicken seasoned perfectly . The Greek seasoned fries were amazing. The spanakopita in the buttery phyllo dough was crispy and light with fresh spinach and feta . Don't forget the Greek coffee after your meal it's delish! The traditional Greek frappe nescafe, milk, sugar and ice with the frothy thick foam on top is my favorite. I ordered mine metrio and it was perfect.

It has been quite sometime since we last dined here and it was fantastic Service was impeccable and extremely friendly and attentive! The food was well prepared and arrived hot and well presented. The decor is very inviting and welcoming. The water fall wall is very neat ... Probably the Best Greek Food in the area

The strongest coffee I've ever had! It was delicious.

Had our lunch date here after wanting to try it for so long (approx. 5 years) and we were not disappointed! The food was delicious, the service was great, and the whole Greek vibe was amazing. Can't wait to try other foods on the menu.

Chargrilled Souvlaki (Chicken) with a side of fries and fasolia

I would give it a 3.5. Was in town for a conference and found this place with good ratings. You walk in and order your food at the counter where they have a display case with their desserts. Then you seat yourself with a number for your table. There's a decent amount of tables and booths. The room is divided by a wall of falling water. We ordered calamari for our appetizer. We both ordered the Chicken Souvlaki entree. It came on a bed of rice, a side salad, an additional side of your choice. I chose to sub the rice with a side of the fasolia (stewed green beans) and chose the Greek fries for my other side. My sister kept the bed of rice and chose fasolia as her side. The calamari came out in a timely manner. But we were surprised at the small portion. It came with a couple of lemon slices. It was crispy but not very remarkable. The salads came out fresh and had a lot of feta cheese on top. Too much for my liking, but that's just my preference. Our entrees came out shortly after. The chicken was on the dry side. The green beans were in a tomato based sauce. The Greek fries had a bit of a lemony flavor. They weren't hot. Overall, nothing was that noteworthy. And we thought the food was overpriced for what we got. Service was friendly and seemed like a family run business that cared about their customers.

Hoping that they just had an off night as the service and food were a fail. First, nearly the entire staff was teenagers. The young lady at the counter did not know the menu and showed no hospitality. The wait staff was equally unfriendly. Not a smile was to be had in the place. The entire staff seemed to be working their first day on their very first job. The Calamari looked good, but came without any sauce and upon first bite, a long black hair was found wrapped around and through the breading. Staff took it away, without apology and brought another order. No manager engagement. Grilled octopus may have been good if it wasn't cold. Overall a fail on all accounts. Given their strong following, it will get an apprehensive second chance in the future.

In town for business, decided to give this place a try based on other reviews. I really like Greek food and we have a place at home that we really love, so I was a bit apprehensive. This place is amazing! The food was delicious, authentic and freshly prepared. There were a lot of "little things" I really appreciated, I ordered carry out and the food was ready when I arrived, no waiting. The utensils provided were some of the best I've ever seen. A fork for salad and a separate one for the main course. The restaurant was very clean and I was greeted upon entering. The Dolmades were some of the best I've ever tasted. The Greek salad was fresh and the salad dressing was obviously homemade. The Gyro bowl was fresh and delicious. I will definitely visit again! The prices were very reasonable for the quality!

We have loved coming to Hellenic Kouzina for many years now. It's been awhile since we have been in the area and decided to stop in after shopping on Black Friday. Food is delicious!!!! Hellenic had new owners take over a few years ago and it's even better than it's ever been! Excellent customer service, always very accommodating. Such a nice atmosphere in the restaurant. Casual yet very nice. You can take your own wine for dinner if you choose to. Their dessert selection is always amazing! We will be back!!!!

This is our favorite Greek food in the Harrisburg area! Amazing patio for dining al fresca and very reasonable prices. Very nice that it's BYOB to bring your favorite bottle of wine to enjoy. There are also so many people on staff, all catering directly to us, not just one server. Clearing dishes quickly and checking in frequently.

Does anyone know if they still serve chocolate baklava cheesecake? I see pictures, but they never seem to have it when I visit.

Yes they do. I was there on 2-8-20 and it was in the display case.
