We came in early, so it wasn't busy. We ordered the lunch special which was chicken teriyaki, I ordered the lemon salmon roll. That was DELICIOUS! I loved that the lemon was sliced small enough to eat it with the roll! The waitress was great! Very accommodating. I came in with my two kids and she put on a movie for them, and brought out coloring pages for them. The atmosphere was nice, quiet, plenty of seating. Holy buckets, this place is good! The ramen is amazing! I ordered a Combo Ramen with chicken and beef, and added 2 dumplings. I also got it spicy and wow--the flavor of the broth is off the charts! Hands down, the best ramen I have had in the High Desert. Not to mention, this is a quiet, quaint place with a welcoming "come to my kitchen" feel. What can I say? The best Spicy Pork Bowl I have ever tasted! The pork is tender and flavorful with just the right amount of heat from the red pepper sauce. There is Sriracha on the side if you want an additional kick but the spice level is perfect as it is. I like the way this dish is prepared here. This is definitely going to be the go to bowl meal for me from now on. The Works Bowl is a great choice, too, especially when you don't know if you want beef or chicken. Don't make a choice! Get both! The beef and chicken has a nice smoky flavor and char from the grill. Both meats are tender. The veggies are the usual mix of steamed broccoli, carrots, and cabbage but it was a good accompaniment with the grilled meats. The rice is soft enough to absorb the sweet teriyaki sauce. Portion sizes for bowls here are generous so plan on two delicious meals. I will definitely plan to come back and try the Galbi as this is one of my favorites. The lady behind the counter is the nicest person! She included a free order of deep fried beef dumplings which were crispy and flavorful. Grill and Roll is a definite return trip. Well first off they got my husband's order wrong so we had to wait even longer for his food. The rice on both plates was undercooked and dry, the salad that came on the plate was sad and the dressing wasn't anything Asian, almost 1000 Island. I got the beef ribs, husband got the spicy pork, both of them were so salty we couldn't eat them and on top of that the meat was tough. The gal who brought us our food was nice but we won't be going there again or suggesting this place to anyone. We spent good money and ended up going somewhere else to eat. read more

I wasn't disappointed with that. However, I'm a texture kind of foodie so the beef (kind of fatty gewy ) and the chicken didn't seem like chicken . They were off to me for some reason. I couldn't really enjoy it as I thought I would. The customer service was nice and no issues with cleanliness. It was quiet.
