I wish I could leave a review on food but unfortunately we never got to try it! We were never greeted by the two hostess as they were to busy talking and giggling so we seated ourselves as the sign stated. After about 10 minutes we realized we probably were not going to be served (or at least not in a timely manner) we got up and walked out! Again the hostesses never said a word. One perk about living in this neighborhood is Grille 26. Their primo margarita is second only to the one I had on my honeymoon in Mexico. I am never disappointed with the food, we've been going here for over a year now, and it is one of our favorite restaurants! The tuna sandwich is my husband's favorite for lunch, and their creole penne is my own guilty pleasure. If you decide to check out grille 26, I recommend that you also save room for dessert. Just walked out. What a disappointment. Ambience felt like a fancy Denny's. But my primary gripe is the food and service. I ordered the pork tenderloin. Arrived luke warm as it evidently had been sitting for some time. The server took it back and after 5 minutes the same plate was put in front of me including the meat I cut in half and sent back. Even the server was surprised. I went ahead and ate part of it. It was of course tougher because of the reheating. Did anyone besides the server apologize? NO. Anything comped? NO. My Wife and I took a trip to Sioux Falls to get away for 4 days. We stopped by Grille 26 for lunch and loved it. I had the best burger I have had in years and my wife's Blood Orange Salad was amazing. The service was spectacular as well. Troy was our waiter and we couldn't have asked for more. We even got to talk with some of the other staff and every single one of them was super friendly. We will definitely be stopping back as soon as we are back in Sioux Falls. My wife and I just moved into a house fairly close to this restaurant and it has quickly become the place we have date nights or take people visiting out to as it is close and offers consistently good food. The menu is very diverse and we love to try new things, but also find it hard to stray from our favorites of the salmon, the salads, and the great burgers. After well over 15 visits to this restaurant, we have always received good service, always a great atmosphere and only one or two times was the food not up to normal standards (burgers were undesirably red in the middle). There are also times that an order of 4 burgers has taken an hour to receive--it is not always the quickest food option, but this has usually been because we come at late/off hours or at the busiest. Overall, if you are looking for a relaxing dining experience in Sioux Falls, I recommend this restaurant. My suggestion is to order some wine and an appetizer and enjoy the atmosphere of this venue. Summer Sunday nights have live music, hopefully they keep that up as it makes for an enjoyable vibe! read more

My wife and I, since finding this gem a few months ago, have returned twice. The food is very good and unique. They have seasonal options, as well, that give a good variety. We have only lived in Sioux Falls a little over a year and have found restaurants a bit lacking (compared to our hometown of Denver). But this place would be a regular spot for us even back home. The prices are a little high - especially for the steaks, but overall worth it. The environment is also very nice (parking a bit tight when busy given the limited square footage of the lot) and service has been excellent. We are aware that this is owned by Minerva's (which we also enjoy very much), but we prefer Grille 26 as a more affordable alternative that doesn't make you regret paying too much. read more

Stop them my wife with my wife at 2:15 on a Sunday not very busy I ordered a Cuban sandwich it is delicious I came with fries 5 minutes later in the waitress brought them out and didn't seem to care that they were late I'd say stop in service usually isn't this poor but that's sad! My daughter and I have found this place to always be our go to when she comes home from school. It has always been clean, good service and the food has always been FRESH! It's generally about $30 dollars that includes an over 20% tip if service is warranted. Only once I left a lesser tip. Waitress did not seem to care if we were there or not. But, we will be back! I came here for the first time when I was back for Christmas. I ended up coming back for a second time that same week. A very nice atmosphere for Sioux York and the food was excellent. I went with the Buffalo Burger the first time and the Buffalo Meatloaf the second time. I'll be back this summer for sure. read more

Only downside to this nice restaurant is parking, especially during the lunch hour. But I recently took my girlfriend, brother and his girlfriend here and was impressed. The decor and atmosphere is wonderful and relaxed. The food, quite frankly, is prepared excellently and so delicious. Portion sizes are spot on. We didn't have to wait long to be seated at 5PM which was great, but it took an hr to get our food. My husband ordered Ribeye medium rare and it was overcooked.
