Great service and friendly staff. No Atmosphere or inside dining or outside; but a tidy fun and fast grill for the essential speed run on falafel and more, noticed decent portions shown on other photos, got super quick service on a falafel app too. Prices are handsome for Purdue students but anything is a massive bargain compared to The Lawrence! I love Mediterranean cuisine, Americanized or authentic. This isn't anything near the origins however good warm spices always go down easy. Will hope to get back! read more

I have tried their food several times. Both their chicken and gyro over rice is pretty good. Their rice is flavorful and sauce is amazing. I also felt their gyro feels a bit different in a good way. Best Mediterranean food in the area!! I wasn't expecting much when I first entered, as it is a small little spot and somewhat unnoticeable. There are two doors, and after the second door you can order. I ordered the Grilled Chicken Sandwich. Food was 10/10. The lady was super kind and handed me my order at the table I was waiting at. The food was AMAZING! It truly exceeded my expectations. I put the tomatoes and veggies in the pita and doctored it up with the dressing. The chicken was so tender and juicy. The pita was so soft and was the perfect complement to the chicken. This was so delicious! I'm not sure what the dressing was, but it totally elevated the meal. Chips (possibly just Lays/Ruffles) came on the side, and were not bad. Overall, this unassuming spot has got me hooked. You have to try it out! This is an up-and-coming business selling Middle Eastern Street food. Happened to come across it after seeing their food truck outside. They only do take-outs and deliveries and are in the process of establishing their kitchen. The owner and staff are very friendly and provided us with great service whilst chatting about their new establishment. They have a lot of vegan options (hummus, falafel, tabouleh etc) and sandwiches/shawarmas. Whilst waiting for our order, we got to try some of their falafel (complimentary!) which was really delicious and crisp to the touch. The tahini sauce accompaniment was okay, I personally felt the Tahini flavor was a little too overwhelming and may require other flavors/sauces to bring it more into balance. To go, we got the Beef (steak) shawarma. This came in a paper box (which I really appreciated, rather than a foam/plastic container). The shawarma was pre-made and then toasted as they are still in the process of setting up their full kitchen. I'm a huge shawarma fan and it is almost always my go-to item when I'm at a Middle Eastern place. I'd have to say their steak shawarma wasn't quite what I hoped but does have the makings of a great shawarma. The beef has good seasoning but could use with some more, and although there were little bits of pickled vegetables in the shawarma, it gets drowned in all the meat. The shawarma was pre-made, and because it was heated up on one of those sandwich toasters, it really flattens out the wrap when technically it should be full and juicy. It came with Tahini sauce on the side & a coleslaw like salad with potato chips. Prices are very reasonable for take-outs and delivery. Would I go back? Yes. I'd like to give their shawarmas another go and see how they come along as they establish themselves. read more

Got a small chicken & rice, 1 pita, side of grape leaves, and a side of tzatziki sauce. Chicken & Rice (and the garlic sauce) was awesome! Grape leaves threw me a bit because they were refrigerated but I looked it up and that's pretty common for non-meat ones. They were a little too strongly mint flavored for me. The pita was good, but cold. Next time I'd stick with the chicken and rice and maybe try some gyro meat. Building space was pretty gutted- no ambiance to speak of, the gentleman who took my order and made my to-go order was very friendly. Definitely a student-only or carry out option only. read more

I don't know what the service is like out of the physical restaurant, but I can tell you we won't be buying again after the service from the food truck. The food truck was scheduled to be at the local church in Battle Ground and we preordered food two hours ahead. We got confirmation that our pickup time was 5:30. We showed up at 5:20 just to be sure we got good hot food. They told us they were a "running little" behind when we arrived. I didn't get my food until 6:45. (2 Gyros and 2 shawarma shouldn't take more than a few minutes each to make.) I watched people walk up, confused by the lack of a menu on the truck, be told they couldn't order at the window (BTW, what food truck can't take orders right at the window?), had to order using a website, and still get their food before I did. When we did finally receive our food, the shawarma was bland. The hummus had a very thin consistency and was without much flavor. The gyros were passable, but I've had better in town. All in all it was a not only disappointing experience, it was an angering expedition at having to wait well over an hour for food that shouldn't have taken more than 10 min to prepare. read more

First time here, probably won't go back. Ordered chicken shawarma, grape leaves, babba ganush, gyro sandwich and falafel. I wanted to try a bunch of options. Gyro sandwich, babba ganush and grape leaves were fantastic, absolutely flavorful, generous portions too. Chicken wasn't great, dry, a lot of tumeric, but probably was just sitting around too long. They didn't give me my falafel so I can't tell you about that. I should have checked the bag before I left, I was the only customer so I didn't think it would have been an issue. There aren't a lot of food choices on that end of campus so if you want Mediterranean food, or don't want pizza or a burger, that's what you're gonna have to get. I probably won't go back though. This place does not seem sanitary nor appealing at all. For starters their food comes out of buffet style party treys. I've never seen then cook anything fresh upon ordering and if that isn't gross enough, they'll go get left over food from their food truck to serve to customers. We had their food truck come to a nearby church. We preordered our food at 4pm and set a pick up time of 5:30pm. An hour and a half later of waiting and we finally had our food. The shawarma was bland, as was the hummus. The gyro was adequate but definitely not the best in town. If you are looking for gyro's I'd suggest Christo's or the Akropolis. Got the grilled chicken and rice, along with a falafel sandwich. The grilled chicken is flavorful, juicy, and like the rice, well-spiced. But I feel like the portion I received didn't reflect the price: there may have been 6-8 conservative bites of chicken. The fact that I can estimate that at all is kind of a bummer. It came in the regular kind of takeout entree box, which was only half-filled. More rice in the box would have been better--after all, I'd get the psychological satisfaction of being full (despite lack of enough chicken), and the restaurant would just have to invest a few more cents. The falafel sandwich I had was pretty good, though the diced tomatoes were so-so and seemed unnecessary. The hummus or whatever sauce came with it was quite unique. Very thin but with a fairly powerful earthiness, I assume from a chickpea? I thought it was good, but it's also not what I'm used to. Whatever yogurt sauce came with that grilled chicken was DIVINE--don't change a thing on that! I guess the only thing stopping me from a better rating isn't the quality of the food, because it's flavorful, but the portioning and price situation needs work. read more
