I understand the difference between buying 2000 golf set vs a beginning 300. But if I was gonna start becoming an amateur golfer AND a woman, I would've love better customer service. Because then I would be a loyal customer and spend my money here. But I was certainly dissatisfied in service. Mind you, my dad is disabled and bought me the golf set without anyone helping us. Being able to try all the different heads and shafts and then seeing the results on the Trackman makes you confident you are making the right choice. Justin at Miramar was great. He took his time with my fitting, was not pushy and literally sold me the clubs that I hit best according to the data. I am most impressed with their sugar daddy wedges. I love them. I was interested in irons and a new driver and 5 wood. I only signed up for an irons fitting but we finished that part early and Kasey kindly let me hit some drivers and 5 woods. I ended up purchasing Mizuno irons and the Taylor Made Qi10 driver and 5 wood. Kasey wasn't pushy at all, just really nice through the entire process. Front door had recently been smashed in, so starting off was already put off by the aesthetics. That's not their fault as the landlord is responsible. From there it was down hill. I came in for a new driver fitting. I only tried 4 different drivers, all at the same loft and feel ultimately leading me to be 45 minutes in. Around the 40 minute mark my coach finally was able to get some improvement on my data. Although they weren't nearly close to what we should have been able to do he recommended me a $650 driver that was not perfectly tailored or fit for me. The experience seemed slow to start, transitions between clubs took around 5 minutes of waiting. I hit more warmup shots waiting to start than I did shots evaluating my club selection. Overall, disappointed in my service and will have to book a new driver fitting elsewhere.

I stopped in at 4pm on Thursday afternoon & I was immediately greeted & helped by a nice employee. He quickly ascertained that he could buy one wetsuit & the weights, but the other wetsuit was a little too vintage for him to buy. I opted to donate it with him. After a quick check of my ID & a confirmation that I wanted cash, the process was complete & I walked out with cash in hand in less than 15 minutes. When I first moved to PB ten years ago, we bought beach cruisers here, as they have an interesting and varied selection of bikes that are well-priced. They also have tons of other new & used sporting equipment including baseball, softball, golf, water sports, pickleball, tennis, golf & more! This a a great store for both your pocket & the planet! But they suggested getting a used replacement which was newer than 25 years old and better technology! One of the staff helped find one that was closest to my old club, Taylor Made 54 degree. Cost only $50 which was much cheaper than a reshaft. They even offered to take it back if I didn't like it. Loved the new club and worked great but is now my 90 yard club...old age you know.

Apparently Aaron thought my toddler was one swing away from destroying the Crown Jewels of golf because he rushed over to tell me he couldn't use one of the putters since it was a "$300 putter." I told him, "No problem," but also said if my 17-month-old somehow managed to break it, I'd gladly pay for it. And honestly, if a $300 putter can't survive a toddler gently tapping a golf ball, it might not be the premium product it's advertised to be. Instead of leaving it there, Aaron spent the next several minutes pacing back and forth and staring me down like we were about to settle this on the 10th tee. It was one of the most bizarre customer interactions I've had. I asked to speak with the manager, Kevin Collinwood, hoping he'd simply acknowledge the situation. Instead, before even hearing the whole story or witnessing anything that happened, he immediately said he had to defend his employee. His voice was literally shaking through the conversation, and it felt like he had already made up his mind. When I asked for the corporate phone number, suddenly the apologies started. Unfortunately, that should have been the first response, not the last. I wasn't looking for anyone to get fired. A simple, "I'm sorry about your experience, I'll talk to my employee," would have resolved everything in about 30 seconds. Instead, what should have been a fun afternoon of golf with my son turned into the weirdest standoff I've ever had over a putter. Hopefully they treat the next family that walks in with a little more common sense and a little less "Secret Service protecting the $300 putter."
