As I looked around the area looking for a shop to install a couple of upgrades on my hard tail trail bike, I stumbled up Grizzly Cycles on Yelp.. and I am glad I did! Very friendly staff and helpful discussing my course of action with my new upgrades. They didn't have an issue with me bringing in my own parts to be installed and were more than happy to service my bike. I'm happy to know I have a shop I can rely on with having maintenance done to my MTB and any questions answered since I'm a beginner to the sport of MTB.

If you need bike repairs, this shop is far better than Action Sports. It's a smaller local shop, but that means you get real attention and genuinely great service. They take the time to help you and make sure the job is done right instead of rushing customers through like some of the larger stores. Very happy with the experience and would definitely recommend them. read more

I don't know who needs to hear this - I recently had the crew go through a few of my bikes and I have the following - the Pompino rides better than when new. The attention Mitch put into the brakes and setting up the levers was like a whole different bike. I originally installed those levers and never knew they were adjustable for canti / V pull length. The Kona front brakes are no longer howling like a whore that didn't get paid, the GG was flawless at Keyesville and was instrumental in my 2nd place finish. The electronic shifting was next level and suited my riding style perfectly. The new bars and bits on the Stormchaser and the Pompino are just We often get distracted when I'm at the shop and scatterbrained conversation takes over. Just know that the crew at Grizzly Cycles are all knocking it out of the park right now and I owe you all lunch or dinner or something. Lmk Thanks for being the bike shop that no one realized they needed. read more

GO ELSEWHERE! These guys used to be great! I've been dealing with Kevin for years. I don't know what happened... These guys arnt the stand up shop they used to be. They boxed up 2 bikes so poorly that both were cracked when they arrived and parts were missing. They would not follow through with filing a damage claim. Im very let down and disappointed with my experience with Grizzley Cycles. read more

Great and friendly service and staff! Took my bicycle in for maintenance. I was told it would take about a week due to the amount of customers before me, they were able to complete the maintenance in 3 days and gave me a courtesy call. They cleaned up, lubed, adjusted and tightened all loose hardware. Shared tips. They also helped me with other questions and helped me pick out the best products for my use. Grizzly Cycles is the culmination of his many years working in the cycling industry, and it truly does show. Kevin will bend over backwards to ensure each and every customer gets the best service he can provide, whether you have a flat tire on your Huffy or need your $10,000 full suspension bike serviced. Grizzly Cycles volunteered to support the "Rock Cobbler 2018" gravel ride. During the ride several issues came up with my bike. Without Grizzly Cycles (Sorry I forgot your name) I would not have been able to finish. The work he did keep my going for another 40 punishing miles. read more

Due to some stubborn plantar fasciitis of both feet, I depend very heavily on my bike for my entire exercise program . I used to hike and do yoga but now my bike is my best friend! So, I was alarmed to find my tire very, very flat one morning and anxious to get it fixed. Luckily for me I saw the Grizzly Cycles bike booth at the Sunday Farmers Market and decided to check it out. Kevin impressed me with his passion for bikes , his professionalism and his friendly manner. Then I find out he makes house calls with his Mobile Bike Service and I made an appointment immediately. Kevin showed up on time and fixed my bike and made sure that I was all set. He even helped me with adjusting my bicycle seat to the best height. Now my knee doesn't hurt when I ride, hey that's big! This has been a tough year for me as I lost my Teddy Bear in March and I turned 70 yrs of age in July so I really appreciate these extra touches of service . I told them at the service department that the bike would not shift gears going up, that the shifter only worked right when downshifting. Imagine my surprise when they text me less than three hours later saying my bike is ready. It seemed OK, they asked me to ride it in the parking lot. It was 5:50, and they closed in ten minutes. The bike shifted OK for a couple of cycles up and down. As much as I was happy to get the bicycle back the same day, I was not happy after riding it several time and from gears five thru eight still trouble upshifting. I truly wish they had kept the bike until Tuesday, maybe the bike would shift properly. I did not need to get my bicycle back fast as much as I needed to get my bicycle back FIXED.

I am leaving this review not because of the move-out cleaning itself (as that is still to be…read moredetermined and this will review will be updated accordingly, if necessary), but because of the deeply unprofessional, coercive, and ethically sloppy conduct of the owner/manager, Kimberly Gonzalez. I paid $150 upfront as agreed. Prior to the job, I was explicit--in writing--about my maximum budget and that any flexibility was conditional on being informed beforehand. Instead, once the team was already on site, the price began to escalate in real time. First, I was told the total needed to increase to $250 (an additional $100 over the $150 already paid). When I objected--because this exceeded what we had discussed--I was then pressured for "at least $50 more," framed as unavoidable because the workers were "overtime" and the clock was running. In other words: the terms changed after work had begun, and my consent was treated as irrelevant. The justification for this escalation was frankly bizarre. I was suddenly informed that the kitchen sink "drained straight to the bottom," implying a plumbing issue--and then implicitly accused of previously managing this with a bucket or bowl. Let me be clear: I have been accused of many things in my life, but secretly concealing a fictional plumbing failure with a bucket is not one of them. There was no known sink issue, and in any case, plumbing problems are not a cleaning surcharge, nor are they something a customer should be financially ambushed over mid-job. What followed crossed from unprofessional into coercive. I was repeatedly told that if I did not immediately pay more, Ms. Gonzalez would have to "come out of pocket," that there was "no time to go back and forth," and that payment later was not acceptable--despite the fact that the back-and-forth was initiated solely because the business changed the price after the service was underway. At one point, Ms. Gonzalez explicitly stated that she does not care about bad reviews because she has plenty of good ones. So, respectfully: if you don't care, then here it is. Small businesses deserve support. Workers deserve to be paid. What customers do not deserve is to be pressured into paying more than agreed upon, blamed for unrelated household issues, and emotionally cornered into compliance while being told their prior boundaries no longer matter. I ultimately paid the additional amount simply to end the interaction. If you choose this company, understand this clearly: -- The initial price is not final once workers arrive -- New "issues" may appear without advance notice -- Budget ceilings may be disregarded mid-job -- Communication becomes pressurized and inappropriate Proceed with caution.

Met Kevin out at the Keysville Classic 2017 this past weekend. I brought him my stumpy that had a bent derailleur hanger, no problem he says. Minutes later, its fixed. But of course when I got home I took my bike to my local bike shop. Which my bike shop said my derailleur hanger was PREFECT......unbelievable!!!!!! Do not under estimate Kevin at Grizzly Cycles. He's one of the good guys. Knowledgeable and fair. Oh, and did I mention, upon getting my bike back it was cleaner than when I brought it to him.....but the best part of this, he didn't charge me (well except for a couple of breakfast burritos that I brought him), he said it only took a minute. read more

I had a badly damaged wheel, and a friend told me about Grizzly Cycles. I haven't had the beat experiences at the other local shops, so I gave them a try. I couldn't be more pleased with their customer service, knowledge, and prices. There were some shipping delays on the parts that were needed, and Kevin went out of his way to keep me updated. I guess YELP didn't like my first review so I'll leave another. These guys have been nothing short of amazing. They'll have your bike in and out the same day and you'll still have time to get a ride in! They also sell several top name brand bikes and are more than willing to find the right sled for you. With several shops in town to choose from this is my first and only choice. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed. read more

The staff at Grizzly Cycles are top-notch. It can be hard finding consistent service when it comes to bike shops but you can count on the Grizzly staff to get you back on the road/trails. Aaron, Mitch, Zach, and Kevin are all as friendly as can be so make sure to stop by. read more
