I don't always come down here to grocery outlet. It's a little out of my way, but I do it now and then. Wow, I am always so happy when I do! Today I was on a budget and knew what I wanted to get. He bottled of wine. They always have them at great prices. 5.99-25.You take a chance. I got a nice Sauvignon Blanc from California today. It was good. Picked up a few other items that I needed, including coffee, and juice. When I walk out of this grocery, I am always smiling. I got a hefty bag of groceries plus wine and it was only about $35. Oh. My. Goodness. Where do I even begin to talk about how amazing this store is?! It's clean, has a wide variety of products, and a clearance in the back right. And the employees?! They're my favorite part of the experience. I can never remember their names but there are two in particular who are super nice. They're both males, one is more blond-ish with blue eyes and the other is taller with dark brown hair and brown eyes. You'll know them when you see them. The prices are really cheap. I used to live right down the road but have since moved to the other side of town. It's a drive to get over here and yet I still make the drive once a week to stock up on things my family goes through weekly. The prices are better for a lot of things. Have you seen the 10-pack of grass-fed hamburgers for $10? Bargain indeed. I love that they are active on Facebook and if I have a question I can pop over and ask before I make my way over and they respond within a day or so. (hello Christmas gift I was looking for) The owners are awesome! They keep the store clean. They must treat the employees well because I know at least half of them by facial recognition they know me as well enough to say "Hi nice to see you again" Bonus GET THE APP! Great place one of our favorite stores. They have lots of offbeat types of things that really cheap prices. So I always an adventure going in the grocery outlet because you never know what can I park in your gonna fine. I purchased ten 4 packs of a protein drink at the end of June. As I was using cases I had purchased at Costco, I did not use the ones I purchased at Grocery Outlet until toward the end of August. When I realized the expiration was August 26, 2025 (not 2026 as I first thought), I went to the store and explained to the manager my situation. She said she would talk to the owners. They had a huge display of the drinks and I was hoping I could exchange for ones not expired. When I looked, all the dates on the display were also August 26, 2025. The manager just called and said since I was past the 30 day return date, I cannot return them! They were $4.99 a 4 pack so I will throw the remaining 9 packs into the dumpster! I thought they would at least give me a credit to use in the store. I didn't even want a refund. So much for locally owned customer service. Guess they were very inexpensive for a reason. The ones I had purchased from Costco had an expiration date of August 2026. Lesson learned. read more

I'm guilty of forgetting to go to Grocery Outlet often enough and every time I go I feel this way - like why don't I come here every time before I even think about going to Safeway! It's seriously so full of great deals and our local store in Washougal (Camas) especially is so nice and clean! Big thanks to whomever is running the show. read more

I've been in a few times and had reasonable experiences with their foods and prices. This time I had a frustrating experience that will probably make me not come back here. Got a tiny 12 oz jar of almond butter that was shelved in a space with a 2.99 sticker. Rang up at 9 bucks. Okay, I point this out, go back and look, the sticker on the shelf is for something else, but is clearly under the item in question. The actual label for this item is nowhere to be found anywhere. And upon further examination of the peanut butter section, numerous other items are mislabeled/misshelved. Checker is completely unapologetic, tells me $9 is the price and I can take it or leave it. Needless to say I left it, and probably won't be coming back in a hurry, since it seems like they're at best careless and unremorseful with their labeling, and at worst are being intentionally deceptive trying to upcharge folks. If you go here, definitely watch the prices and the ring-up. read more

I almost exclusively shop here for my family of 6 now that I've discovered it. The employees are soooo friendly and helpful. The prices and health food are amazing. It's not a place to bring a list of ingredients, cuz they might not always have your specific items, but I just go and see what they have for sale, I mostly buy produce and meat and bread anyway. Ooh they also carry local homemade REAL sour dough from Columbia River Sour Dough for half price! Their beer and wine selection is really good for much less than elsewhere. I love that you can always park close and the store is not ginormous. It feels quick and easy and personable. And they are not mask nazis!!! So refreshing! I went to the new one on 4th plain and 500, not at all like Washougal, probably not ever going back to that one. read more

I absolutely LOVE the Camas Grocery Outlet. It is my favorite place to grocery shop. They have such a variety of products, at great prices, it's always fun to go there. If you have a shopping list for specific items, you might strike out on a few items, so I recommend going there to browse and impulse buy. The staff is super friendly and helpful. read more

I shop at all 3 in Vancouver, Camas area. If a product is no longer at the other two, I have learned this location probably has it & lots of it. I've noticed they tend to get newer stuff after the other 2 locations have had it for a few weeks or have sold out already. I come here mostly for the frozen fruit. Unlike the other locations they always have my frozen strawberries & peaches in the big bags for crazy cheap! And also all the random healthier non GMO chips & snacks for like $1 or $2. This location you have to hunt for the healthier foods, they don't carry as much as the other two, but still have a lot of random, yummy things. The employees here are always the nicest I have ever met. Seriously, you can go in here in a horrible mood & walk out with a smile because they are so sweet & nice. read more

I can review this as an employee and a customer. As a customer, you can sometimes get pretty good deals. The non-foods aisle is fun, and there is always some odd little treasure to find. However, when it comes to perishable items, don't trust anything you can't see an expiration date printed on. As an employee, I can tell you this: There are some shady things happening here. I know that one of my managers asked an employee to change the expiration date stickers on some pastries that had expired. I know that the crunch bars we sold had been there for YEARS. When it comes to management, I was more or less expected to be on call on my days off. If I couldn't work last minute on my day off, I was being "inflexible." It's not worth it to work there. And if you shop there, do it with caution. read more

this place is pretty freakin cool. almost all customers you see in grocery outlet you will see at the dollar tree next door afterwards, due to dollar tree having a more consistant product line. I looked it up and there is nothing illegal about selling expired stuff. the white tagged items are dirt cheap like 50 cents for a half gallon of milk or 99 cents for a pound of deli meat or cheese. Alot of what i buy i plan on eating within a day or two, and ive never gotten sick off their stuff. The dollar tree has better looking cashiers though. read more

Having moved to Washougal in 2008, some of my favorite memories were thanks to Camas Grocery Outlet. Many times that winter, my parents would buy snacks, groceries, etc to cook up while spending time with us-then kids. Fast forward seven years to a complete change of heart. You see, the store alone is innovative, has decent selection at a bargain price; however, there is a lot I disagree with at this store (and it doesn't help that I briefly worked there). First and foremost, you can say what you want about good customer service, but I can only tell you it is thanks to some amazing cashiers (Jordan, Lydia, Heidi, Ruth and Leslie). The were the most well-mannered, helpful and gave a great vibe to the store. The kind of "friendliness" Grocery Outlet encourages their employees to have is emulated by those employees, but not very well by the others. The intended vibe of the store is why I so eagerly wanted to be a part of their team. When I started, the first few days or so weren't to terrible, but as my experience progressed, the attitudes from managers, the owner and some co-workers degressed. Their demeanor towards me made me feel unwelcome, worthless and no good as an employee new to retail. They do not foster the kindness they claim to, especially the owner Greg Phillips who had the nerve to degrade any other job I had as though being a Grocery Outlet cashier is the "holy grail" of occupations. He made it clear to me that I was simply a summer employee and at any moment I could be dropped (not an overall offensive statement, but it struck a nerve considering his overall demeanor).Therefore I believe he sounds no value in me as an employee or person. On top of the owners not being too fond of me, there was a manager who always punched her hand when talking to me as though I was stupid and indigent when I felt as though I was trying my best. This was days into the job. When they asked me to be aware of all aspects of the job, my goal was to work harder but when they say "Jump," shooting for the moon and reaching the stars is not ok for someone who is learning. Their inability to teach and guide causes them to lack a lot of what they seek to. When expecting someone to learn, patience is a virtue, but instead I was subject to belittling attitudes and unprofessionalism. It's one thing for a customer to be displeased, but for the managers to be equally as rude. It makes for a very negative working experience. I am grateful I gave it all I could, but I do not feel comfortable stepping into that store. Although nothing will stop me if I need to grab something, I want people to know before applying (especially being a young adult) that there is little to no regard. Even if you suffer from something such as runner's knee (which I do and it is reversible) there was no verbal slack despite my doctor's note. Which I find to be ridiculous. I am not telling you not to shop there, although they are allowed to have food on the shelves over seven days past the Sell By Date, this is a review for those interested in employment. It's very hard to fit in if you're not already a master cashier. read more

Horrible service. They had ad advertised price in store which came out was the wrong price and they flat out REFUSED to honor it. The store owner Greg phillps even went as far as to call me a THEIF, in front of my 3 young children, for wanting the price they advertised!!! I was embarrassed and shocked that he was yelling at me in front of other customers and employees. I used to shop there and for over 6 years. I will NEVER shop there again. They do not honor prices advertised even if it is a mistake in which most honest businesses do. read more
