Happy Abi eating lunch and on her way to get raspberries at Grocery Outlet!

I love this Grocery Outlet, I have been to several and the quality, the customer service and selection is the best in Downey. Every Saturday I get my granddaughter and we make our routine to go to the dollar tree to get a present for her. Then we go to grocery outlet to get her mini watermelon, raspberries and whatever we can eat for lunch. When the associate Alex is working, she notices us before we notice her. She lights up when she sees my granddaughter and is so very very personable. Alex is like a ray of sunshine, she always is professional, efficient and quick. you will never see her ruffled or anything but just plain ol' Positive Energy and a pure delight! Kudos to whomever hired her, she is a wonderful asset to your store!

Last-minute birthday party for my cousin Nikki and I was asked to bring the fruit salad. Lucky me I also had some friends give me a $20 grocery outlet gift card perfect. I was really prepared to go to two stores. They just happen to have everything that I needed such a score! I got all the delicious fruits off my list. A trick to making a spectacular fruit salad is my secret dressing . I will only share with my best friends on yelp . It's a mixture of honey , The zest of the lime and of course the juice . Then just pour it all over your fruit salad adds for the most delicious kick ! I have the cutest little pistachio outfit I'm wearing so I decided to bedazzle it with a side order of my favorite 50s dessert Watergate salad. Cause I'm just a little bit more fancier than just a fruit salad. Even though Watergate salad is like the easiest no bake dessert you can make . It's still super scrumdiddlyumptious ! Very easy recipe kind of just toss it all together . two cans of crushed pineapple two boxes of pistachio Jell-O one tub of Cool Whip 2 cups of marshmallows Half a cup of crushed walnuts I like to mix them in Instead of put them on top Walking in the party looking like a 50s queen!!!

Hi I avoid shopping at your Downey store, because your carts are not working and if I find a somewhat decent cart it will stop working while shopping, I have pictures of people exchanging cart full of groceries because they stop working. I have put my whole strength on dragging a cart through the store and to the car. I don't know if you can comprehend that, with one hand arm because I can't lift with my broken healing arm. it horrible, I dont even know how you don't care. fix you carts PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE. This is a picture of a couple who had to exchange their cart cause they couldn't take it to the car. I watched them trying to push it. When I mention it to workers it's like I was invisible no response.

    Cool cards in there

Grocery Outlet Bargain Market is not a one stop shop for all of your needs. You can, however, find some absolute steals if you've been training for the "Price is Right" your whole life. Sometimes fliers come to our house with free items - with seemingly no purchase necessary, but I always end up restocking on frozen foods or cheese or produce. The latest freebies were for eggs and bread. Two staples in our house! Every single grocery store will try to sell food and other items nearing their expiration date. ALL of them. So this place is no different. Check your items. It's that simple. Locally owned and operated. The female owner is very nice. As are most of the staff with whom I have interacted. #557 2017 Yelp Challenge 24/100

My favorite ice cream (it's Keto friendly) and only $2.99 score!

I was introduced to Grocery Outlet Bargain Market by a client one wonderful afternoon. It's like he was a spokesperson for the brand, super excited and enthusiastic about all the sale items. I was impressed by the items and prices at the location we were at (i.e. Halo Top ice cream, Quest Bars, etc.) and thought hey there is one right down the street from my house. So I looked them up online and signed up for their emails for discounts and coupons because I love a bargain. Since the introduction I've been trying to go at least once a week to see what they have stocked since most items are here until they sell out. Here are some of the bargains I've gotten: -4 pack of Halo Top ice cream for $4.99 -eggs for $0.69 -Quest Protein Powder for $14.99 -Quest Cereal Bars for $9.99 -limes 10 for $1.00 -Green Apple Perrier 12 pack for $1.99 -and so much more! I also love that they give coupons like $5 off $20 purchase! And to top it off they are family owned and the whole family works here. They are very helpful and sweet, willing to answer questions, and get items for you.

Right in the front! Pretty cool eh?

Good buys! You do need to check the dates I've been told. A cool Burbank market. They seem to be busy and doing well.

A lot of items are on WOW pricing, which I learned it means the price is at least 50% off compare to the regular retail pricing!

Not sure it it was just a small window they had to restock in the middle of their shifts or maybe Monday night / Tuesday morning is a big day for them. Anyways the energy felt high in the place. Came for a late lunch because I missed it earlier in the day plus some snacks and an energy drink since I was in the middle of traffic heading back down to San Diego and still had 2 hours left. Got an Italian sandwich fr the deli. A Celsius. Some energy cookies. And gummy bears. It all came out to about 22 dollars. Parking is good. They share a lot with some fast food restaurants and other businesses. The spaces are slanted. Drive slow and be safe.

I pick through a few grapefruits trying to find a good one they're definitely was fruit that should've been tossed in the trash, but I bought three hoping I found some good ones. first one I opened up today was I don't know it was dried it out. Didn't have any flavor. Threw it away just like my money. The people at the store, friendly enough and the store has an inviting ambience. But I think all their fresh and perishable food is questionable.

I was actually driving and I happened to be driving by WINCO. I remembered seeing a long line of customers waiting at the small section of the butchers area. They were waiting for of all things, fried chicken! I made a right turn into the parking lot and got in line!!!!! I will never go to another restaurant again for fried chicken. It could have been crispier (I just popped it into the air fryer for a few minutes and it was perfect,

My experience at WinCo today was met with a sour note…read more I tried a free sample, came back to return the bag that I was originally going to purchase, and then explained it was because I wanted another option. They kindly told me which aisle the other options were, but they also asked me to bring back the product they ran out for samples for. I expressed I was personally in a rush because my party was at check out, also on a schedule. I couldn't find it, so I told them and they asked for me to stay put to man the station while they went to grab it. I see a few problems with this approach. Firstly, it puts a lot of pressure on me, a customer, to bring back the right product. WinCo is big and I couldn't find the product. Secondly, they should have had an employee be back up to look after the station, and not a customer that was wanting to leave. This is also a lesson learned for myself because I personally should have said "no" to the asks to begin with. In terms of groceries, I was impressed by the variety. However, I wouldn't say it's the best priced as most items are by the pound. Some items are obvious good deals, like 25lb of carrots for $11 and $0.33 per ear of sweet corn. The interior is simple with no theatrics. A huge variety of products on display. However, if you're looking for a specific product, that's difficult as evident from my experience. Lastly, they have a Pokémon Center vending machine. I purchased a few available packs but my last pack was never dropped down. WinCo doesn't manage the machine as its third party, so I had to call the number on the machine for a refund. It was inconvenient to say the least. Overall, I think this is a great grocery store for the community. However, boundaries must be set with employees' expectations of customers.
