I had some bad experiences with two different shops local to me, so I looked a little further afield for a new shop. I took my Yukon the Rusty's about a 35 minute drive from my home and explained the situations and symptoms. They took my car into their shop and in about 15 minutes came back, said the problem was fixed. It was a simple "reset" of the positions on the blend doors accomplished with a scan tool. I tried to settle up, and was told there was no charge. Very happy with Rusty's and I will come back if I need anything and I will also refer anyone else I know to them.

They charged me $315 for a diagnosis and told me the steel fuel tank had rusted through and was leaking fuel into the cargo area. They recommended replacing the fuel tank, hoses and lines, fuel filter, and sending unit at an estimated cost of approximately $7,000. I was skeptical because the fuel pump had recently been replaced, so I took the car to another garage for a second opinion. They found that the leak was coming from the fuel-tank sending-unit gasket...a $10 part. They replaced the gasket, and the leak stopped. They also determined that the fuel tank was not rusted out and the fuel pump was fine. I returned to Rusty's and requested a refund of the $315 diagnostic charge because their diagnosis was incorrect and could have led me to spend thousands of dollars on unnecessary repairs. They refused. I have taken other vehicles to Rusty's in the past. Their customer service has always been very good, but I have previously questioned some of the work they recommended and the prices they charged. After this experience, I would strongly recommend getting a second opinion before approving any major repair here.

I have spent months trying to source OEM replacements myself, and the cost is significantly higher than what the shop offered. The shop has refused to cover the proper OEM repair. This review is not about the repair being difficult -- it's about the lack of accountability and the refusal to restore the vehicle to its original condition after causing visible damage during their work. If you care about your vehicle's interior, especially OEM trim, I would strongly recommend choosing a different shop. UPDATE: Response - There was no detailed discussion or explanation of specific interior trim risks before the work. - I was never presented with or asked to sign any disclaimer regarding interior damage. If the shop has a signed copy, I've requested it but have not received one. - The wood trim, vent assembly, and glovebox panel were not damaged prior to the service and the new damage is consistent with improper removal tools and handling, not age-related failure. - Aftermarket Amazon parts offered to me do not match OEM Lexus materials, so declining those is not "declining a solution." They have a wonderful waiting area with guest WiFi, coffee bar, private bathroom, kids play activities, fresh magazines, and every charger you could ever need. I wasn't surprised when I found out Accurate Auto was owned by a woman. It's appointed like a nice Air B&B! It doesn't hurt that the front desk team of David and Mario are awesome and super friendly! One time we need a battery swapped out it's pretty hard to get to under the fender when we came to pick it up the fender and the will well were not put back together correctly, so I had to tell the young man at the front desk that the whole unit is loose and he copped an attitude and put it back in his shop and had his guys fix it. Another time we were here our car kept stalling. I told them that it seemed like it was the security system that needed to be rebooted, but they had to try every other option and kept the car for four days charging us almost $1000 to reboot the security system and give us a new key pad. Another time I asked him if they could check the brakes on the vehicle, cause they were acting strange and would offer them to pay for a new brake job when I get there the young man at the desk tells me that they have to charge us to look at it. Who charges to look at a vehicle's brake pads to see if they're good or not. I guess this place does and the only place that I could find that does. At this point I realized all they care about is the money they don't give a crap about the customers. When I found out, they want to charge me this astronomical price just to look at the brake pads and give me an estimate. Took my daughter's car to Quality for engine light a couple of weeks ago. Previously, another auto…read moreshop had replaced the gas cap in hopes that that was the issue for the evap system engine code from the diagnostics. That shop said that most of the time, a poor sealing gas cap is the problem for that system code, but to find out for sure a smoke test of the evap system would be required. Well, we hoped that the problem was solved so we passed on the additional cost for the smoke test with that shop. Soon after, the engine light came on again. So that's how I ended up taking the car Quality for the engine light a couple of weeks ago, so they could run the smoke test. Daniel ran the test (the same diagnostic code for evap system) and to my surprise, they called me in the shop area and showed me the smoke spilling out of the gas cap connection, which obviously was not fixed by the previous shop the first time. So we're happy with a new gas cap, but then a short time later the engine light comes on again - how aggravating! So, I took it back to Quality this morning and Joe remembered the car and me from the recent, last visit. Diagnostics showed an issue with the evap system again, but this time using a higher pressure system test on the evap system, they isolated the additional problem canister and completed the repair. Thinking this through, once they found the poor gas cap seal previously with the smoke test, (which I came in asking for at the suggestion of the other auto shop) replaced the gas cap and the engine light went off after test drive, it would not have been prudent at that time to try a different costly diagnostic (in this case, the higher pressure test.) I learned that the smoke test is a low pressure test, which perhaps would not reveal the problem with the evap system canister issue - at least that's how understand it (might be wrong.) Fair pricing for part and labor. Excellent service and personal attention to me - kept me in the loop on the issues regarding ordering the part (GMC problem with part number, not Quality's.) Miguel test drove the vehicle to ensure that the engine light was now no longer activated and I was good to go! I've used Quality for years for all of my vehicles and after using many automotive shops in the Spring area since 1990, Quality is the one I trust most. Mike and his team are good, honest people - just what one needs in an auto shop.

After only one day, the AC stopped cooling again. I returned to the shop, and instead of fixing the issue, they suddenly told me I needed additional parts costing $2,500. When I refused and asked for my money back because the original repair did not work, they refused and said the money was gone because the gas was already used. I feel cheated and disappointed. I paid for a repair that lasted only one day, and there was no proper solution or customer support afterward. I would not recommend this shop based on my experience. My advice don't send your car to this repair shop at all.
