Tami is the kind of small business owner who genuinely loves what she does, and it shows in the way she interacts with each dog. I've brought four schnauzers to Tami over the years, and they have all been excited to see her every time we pull up to her shop. Sure, they might not be thrilled about the bath part, but they *love* Tami and that's a big deal in the dog grooming world! My parents used Tami for their dogs before they moved out of state, so she's been part of our family's routine for a long time. Tami is incredibly skilled and always ensures my dogs look and feel their best. She's reliable, friendly, and runs an exceptionally clean shop. You can really tell she has a special bond with the dogs she works with, and that's something that can be hard to find. We've sent many of our fur friends and even strangers who stop us in stores to her, and we would continue to recommend her without hesitation. It's bittersweet, though, because we recently learned she is beginning the process of retiring. While we're happy for her, we're really sad to think about finding a new groomer when she's fully retired. No one could replace her warmth, expertise, and the bond she's built with our dogs. I've attached pictures of my current miniature schnauzer - please excuse her non-flowy beard, it got a little messy after she got an opportunity to play Tami's mini! We've taken puppies & senior dogs to her, SPCA rescues & strays that we scooped into our lives. I still remember taking a stray found late August after running away from his first home probably after being traumatized during fireworks on July 4th. He was malnourished & felt matted, so much so that he couldn't raise his back leg to do his necessary business. Tami was called & she immediately stopped what she was doing & clipped him down to bare skin! Oscar was our love muffin that blossomed into the best companion for my mom during her later years. I have an easy heart bringing my best fuzzy friends to her as I know they will be loved & professionally groomed. She has a great sense of humor & is very straight forward in her guidance to me caring for my pups!

He was ready to be picked up after 1.5 hrs, which was unusual as it's usually a 3 hr minimum for a bath and groom. When I picked him up, he had uncut hair, dirty paws, and had not even been brushed. I was assured he had been washed, with water and shampoo, and groomed. He definitely had not been. I'm not sure what Kim did with him for the 1.5 hrs, but he/we won't be returning to this business.

I hope the owner is able to read this, and I will most certainly repost this message on review sites, to warn others about this so-called "spa". It also has a bad smell as soon as I walked in and everythihg looked dirty. Just so unprofessional and unclassy. I will never take my precious fur baby to an unhinged groomer like this. Manager was an uncaring, nasty woman with a chip on her shoulder. I feel very sorry for the employees working there, and the other pups who have to be scared of that chaotic environment. When we picked up our boy he looked fantastic and was so so happy! He was showing off how good he looked and felt. With the cooler weather this summer, and our boy's age and arthritis, we haven't bathed and groomed him at home as much as we'd like as we groom outdoors and prefer 90+ degrees so he doesn't get chilled or his arthritis aggravated. So the old boy's coat was a bit impacted and needed a good professional grooming. The Paw Spa gave him 2 treatments of deshedding conditioner then blew out the impacted fur. When we got home our boy was dancing and prancing all day just running around showing off. And for 2 days he would stand next to us for us to pet him - I think he was showing off and letting us enjoy his fully deshedded coat and soft silky fur. A week later and he's still walking up to strangers to let them enjoy his fresh, clean coat. The staff at The Paw Spa were nice at drop off and especially friendly when we picked up our boy (he loves charming folks and wins over everybody). As our old boy needs to meet new people every day or he gets very grumpy his clean soft coat draws everybody who sees him to pet him and be charmed by him. Our clean boy is getting so many new friends we haven't heard a grumpf or grumble or complaint in the week since the grooming. So, so nice for us! We're planning on becoming regulars and will be bringing both dogs in the future for regular grooming. One funny thing is the way we tell these 2 dogs apart is the color of their heads, dad is darker. Well, after dad's grooming he had lightened to match his son's color and for a week we couldn't tell them apart. But, this breed is known to change color often, and after a week he's starting to darken again.
