The space is clean,they ask specific questions to make sure your dog's needs are addressed..mine is good with other dogs so is able to socialize a bit after her bath & cut. She relies on my voice to calm her and I wanted to be nearby at least at first. This isn't something the nearest groomers would allow, so a mobile groomer seemed ideal. I decided to give a spa day to my second dog at the same time, in part because I wanted to make it worthwhile for this company to come to my house. My second dog doesn't like other dogs so we avoid situations like a groomer's. It was a wonderful experience for all three of us. The groomer had been a vet tech and she sincerely liked my girls. My blind dog, who is shy, trusted her right away and that's unusual. She was sensitive to their personalities and needs and so gentle (yet effective) with them. The groomer was really able to focus on each dog and personalize the grooming experience to them. For example, one dog was afraid of the blow dryer so she skipped that. She was sensitive to their needs, and that, as well as having the van come right to our house, was well worth the cost. I'm so pleased to find a service like this in Humboldt. I'm from Honolulu and we didn't even have one there. My special needs rescue dogs have endured a lot and it gives me great pleasure to treat them well and support people who do the same. I also got a big kick out of the bows on their collars after they were bathed. Generally I see little fluffy dogs with them after grooming. My sweet girls, although vastly different from expensive purebreds, looked even better. I hope this business is successful as I look forward to utilizing their helpful expertise again. He gave her a lion's head cut, trimmed her nails and foot pads beautifully, and shampooed and conditioned her coat so it feels wonderful! She looks so cute and she was strutting around like I've never seen her do before! I guess all that mass of fur was actually weighing her down, poor thing! Rob said as soon as he got him to the vet they gave him painkillers to top the pain while we decided what to do. It was apparent that the damage was so great that we needed to euthanize him. By the time I got of work he was already euthanized. They brought him out for me to see, he was still warm so I kissed on him and cried for about 15 minutes. The staff was very compassionate. Let me take my time. I am grateful to them for that.

Instead of helping me get on a waitlist for tomorrow to see the vet - the actual vet came out - ( seemed to have the time to do so) to tell me to call tomorrow at 8 am to get on the wait list because it's only fair. Even though I explained my dog has open tick sores that are getting infected. Zero help and zero heart. Even the other vet clinics I've called have been kind enough to put me on a waitlist for tomorrow. Would never go to this heartless logic less vet.
