They were Amazing! Didn't have to wait for a cut as I found with other shops. They were A-One! Definitely coming back!

I've brought my dog here a few times and haven't had any trouble till this last visit. My dog is 13 years old and a collie, so his joints and legs aren't the strongest. I'm sure the groomer has had trouble grooming him because of his age, which is understandable. However, the last time I brought him, I thought everything was normal and it wasn't. I got the call, like usual, that he was ready to go. So, I drive up there, walk in and see him sitting there. Everything seemed normal, the groomer ran my card and I go to get my dog but he won't get up. She then finally says, "he's been like that since his bath". Now I don't blame them or think that they purposely hurt him, but what made me mad was that it was never mentioned to me till I tried to get him to walk with me. Why wouldn't they say something over the phone or even while I'm checking out? Makes me feel like they were trying to hide it. One lady ended up helping me carry my dog to the car, and I ran him to the vet. I think they just wanted him out cause I barely saw any concern for him from them. He's better now and it probably was just his old bones he was having trouble with but I feel like they were trying to deceive me by not saying anything. I won't bring him back there again, and I am so disappointed because I did like this place and have referred people to them. Anyhow, I've learned my lesson and will now ask if a groomer has experience with older dogs because this place does not seem to. read more

We have used Groomingdale's for years and love them! They are quick and efficient and do not make you drop off at 8 AM only to return at 5:30 PM. Our pup has never been there longer than a couple of hours which is unheard of in most establishments. They are priced incredibly fair and take great care of our fur baby. Highly recommend giving them your business! read more

Do not take your pet to this place if you love your pet. The last time we took our dog, she came back with sores and cuts all over her belly and neck. It looked like she had been burned also. It was red all over. I took her back the next day to show them how she looked. All they could say was "give her some benadryl or something". No apologies or nothing. We will never go back to this place. I hope they go out of business. They should not be allowed to treat pets or people this way. Any positive comments you read here are probably from employees. Would NOT recommend this place. They are incredibly unprofessional and rude. A friend of mine was cussed out and they shaved her dog without permission to do so, which is not okay considering the breed of dog. This place is hands down the worst to go to in town and I will stand by that for forever. Do NOT go to this place or you'll be dealing with getting cussed out by employees and HORRIBLE service. read more

This makes the second time we've taken our fur baby here and it will be the last. Not only did she not do as I asked, but the girl who helped me was rude when I asked if they kept our info and preferred cut for our dog in a file like most groomers do. They completely butchered my dog's hair and made her look nothing like a shih-tzu should look. Completely disappointed and would never recommend this place to my worst enemy!! read more

the worse groomers i have ever been to! they are very rude and don't listen i brought my shih tzu in to get a haircut and i come back and she is completely shaved and her ears were left very long and tail as well, when i asked to get her fixed they were so rude and i even tipped them to fix her worst costumer service ever! do not take your dog here read more

They are wonderful! They are friendly and the location is extremely clean. They are extremely good with my 4 standard poodles, which is not always easy. The groomers are fast and efficient. My dogs are always ready within 3 to 4 hours, which I find remarkable. I like my poodles longer than most people do, so they are more work. I have to say it is nice to have them smile when you come in, they are all very sweet. I think their prices are very comparable, but their customer service and connection with the dogs is superior. read more

I have two small dogs that we take them to Groomingdale's often. I have been totally satisfied with the treatment of our pets and their grooming. They do a great job cutting the fur very short on both dogs. They also honor my special requests for a mohawk on the male dog and long hair on the ears of our female dog. The owners Cindy and Joe both have gone the extra mile for us. Once Joe even picked up my dog at work because I was too busy to take her in! Now that is exceptional customer service! ABSOLUTELY THE WORST!!!!! One star is too generous. I took my standard poodle in for a puppy cut. I was specific on a couple of simple things, I wanted her to be about an inch all over, clean inside her ears, & trim her face. After 4 hours, I picked her up to find they had done nothing I asked. As best I could tell, they made an effort to trim her feet & gave her a bath. Frustrated, I left, & followed up with a call to the owner, expressing my concerns & frustrations. Joe, the owner, was initially sympathetic & asked to "make it right" and to bring her back in. Reluctantly, I agreed & returned a few days later. Joe was there & we again outlined a few simple but specific requests for attention for our dog. As we stood with Joe at the counter & observed him WRITE down each of our requests, to include: 1 inch puppy cut all over, trim her potty area, clean her ears, & trim her face. We left our puppy, returning again about 4 hours later to find our puppy butchered!!!! She was cut down to about 1/4" all over, not the 1 inch we requested. She is so uneven with longer hair in many places & bald or scalped places in others. They did NOT clean her ears at all, and even left a wound on her back leg from the clippers. Her face was never trimmed. I'm confident she wasn't even bathed. I DO NOT recommend this groomer. They ignore simple requests & the quality of work is horrible. read more
