We adopted our dog Ellie back in September 2021. She is a 115lb Anatolian shepherd mix with longer, sheddy hair. She is also very terrified and nervous in car rides so we've been looking for a mobile groomer for some time. Everyone is either booked/not accepting new clients OR not taking dogs over 100 pounds. Ellie was getting really stinky and dirty but luckily we came about Carrie's business through a few other groomers that had recommended her. She is the best!!! She texted us back right away and was very accommodating to our schedule. We were able to book something and she came over with her big bus/van. She came inside our house to meet Ellie first and get her comfortable (and had lots of yummy cheese to give Ellie for treats!) and then we all went out into the bus/van. She let me and my daughter come in the van first and Ellie followed us shortly after. Ellie was a bit nervous but from what Carrie said, she did great!!! Carrie was very gentle and sweet with Ellie and went as slow as needed as to not scare her. This was truly a lovely experience for myself and my kitty! It's quite hard to find cat groomers in general and I was so glad to find Carrie! First of all Carrie is a badass! Upon arrival, she straight up jumped out of her vehicle with a pair of pruning sheers to trim some branches(obviously she checked in with me first, so freakin considerate!)that could have caused a problem for her amazing business on wheels! Anyway, she arrives and is warm, kind and welcoming right away. I instantly felt at ease. AND so did my cat!!! Don't get me wrong,my cat is not ferocious in the least, she's just a scaredy-cat! And there she was, chillin on Carrie's lap while we chatted! Carrie finished the haircut quickly and meticulously. My cat looked like a new woman! We have a miniature poodle that requires regular grooming. In the three years that she's been with us we have been to several groomers with unsatisfactory experiences. After calling Groovy Grooming the owner, Carrie, sent us her only employee (Sean). I wasn't exactly sure about having a person come into our home for this service but it only took one time to know that we have found our groomer. We see Sean on a regular six week schedule and our poodle looks fantastic. Groovy Grooming (Sean) is professional, courteous and above all else a very knowledgeable and skillful groomer. The rates are affordable and as a matter of fact comparable to the costs we saw at most drop-off facilities. Sean arrives with all the tools and materials required and he sets everything up in our bathroom. The only thing he needs from us is our bathtub and an electrical outlet. Carrie was wonderful with my longhaired older cat. She had developed mats all over her back and chest. Being older and overweight she was not able to keep up on her grooming. We decided that a full lion cut would benefit her most. She has had mats removed only one other time in her life but never a full body shave. This was a first. I stayed and observed lending my kitty moral support. She was a champ. The only time she was a little annoyed was her belly shave. She is touchy about us even petting her belly so this did not surprise me. We were also 45 min to an hour into the groom by then, but in Carrie's wonderful air-conditioned unit it was so comfortable. My 11-year-old LeeLoo will be comfortable for months now, and Carrie's prices are reasonable and competitive. Too bad I can't give her 10 STARS! read more

Carrie did an incredible job cleaning up an over weight, elderly rescue shepherd mix dog! The poor dog was very dirty and matted, hadn't been brushed in years. Carrie is the best groomer ever! She has groomed our two Shih Tzu's since they were puppies. They are eight and ten years old now. She truly loves animals and treats my pups as her own. She comes to groom them every five weeks and will let us know if she feels they have any health issues after their grooming. We recently went on a three month trip with our dogs and upon our return, Carrie was able to groom them right away. After their grooming, Carrie suggested I take Sadie to the vet to have her ears checked for infections and to have a urine test done as she could smell an odor that may be a UTI. Sadie was at the vet a few days later and it was discovered that she did have two ear infections. I requested her urine be tested even though the vet didn't feel it was necessary as she had no other symptoms. I received a call the next day from the vet saying that Sadie did have a UTI and to come by for some antibiotics. Carrie knows my pups so well that she detected something was wrong. This was not the first time Carrie detected a health issue while grooming the dogs. I feel that being proactive with their health issues have kept our vet bills to a minimum Thanks to Carrie and the love and care she provides my dogs. I would recommend Carrie to anyone that needs to have their dog or cat groomed. Carrie groomed my neighbors cat for years and they have always been extremely happy with the results. Everyone that uses Carrie in my neighborhood feels that she is part of their family. To stay on top of her profession, Carrie has been trained and received the designation of Master Groomer. My mom has very specific ways on how she wants her dogs cut done and Carrie always does exactly what she wants.
