Fraudulent!! do not trust this place!! Extremely unprofessional. This place allowed someone (a man) to drive off in a brand new car in my name (a woman) without me being present. The salesman failed to confirm the person signing the loan contract was the person on the ID they had. I was served paper work to appear in court for non payment of the down payment. I called groppetti and spoke to the salesman and he stated "don't you remember I went to your house you were sick and you signed the paper in bed". I went to groppetti and brought this to their attention, the sales person who sold the car approached me and try to sell me another car!!! They did hear me out, and I was told I no longer had appear in court, however when I asked for something in writing to support that I was told multiple time no. I called the bank and asked for a copy of the contract (groppetti refused to give me a copy of the contract) in which they sent to me via email. The day that contract was signed I have proof from my time clock I was at work. When I called to explain that to them they basically said they had washed they're hands about it and my only option was to contact Visalia PD and report identity thef. read more

Hi Don, If this were a one-off situation, I'd be more understanding. But I've now called Visalia Honda Service three times over the past three months trying to get my 2013 Odyssey, with all major service at your dealership since new, scheduled for service. The first time I was told by a service representative that there's a policy against scheduling repair appointments for vehicles more than 10 years old. I asked her to confirm that with her manager, because I found it hard to believe. She came back and said she had confirmed it--no repairs on vehicles older than 10 years. The second time, I was calling just for an oil change and tire rotation, thinking perhaps maintenance might fall under a different category than repairs. I was told: no service at all on vehicles over 10 years old. I called a third time, hoping to speak directly with the service manager for clarification. I was told she was out and that my information would be passed along so she could call me back. That was nearly three days ago now, and I haven't heard anything. I appreciate your response to my Yelp review and your effort to clarify the policy. But at this point, it seems clear that your service team is either misinformed or applying their own policy. I hope you're able to address this internally, because it's been a frustrating experience trying to get a straight answer--let alone any service. read more

Seaside Cadillac has been negligent in resolving an ongoing issue with our purchase of a Cadillac Escalade V. This is the most expensive car on any Cadillac lot and we have had the worst customer experience. They first claimed they had both key fobs onsite at time of purchase but couldn't find one of the two that night. No problem we had a due bill to correct a small scratch on the rear bumper that we could come back for and pick up the spare key fob. Once Seaside contacted us stating that they where ready to complete the due bill scratch repair and provide us our key, we took a day off to bring the car to them and have these issues resolved. Unfortunately after hours and hours of waiting to hear from them we called and they then informed us that "the weather wasn't cooperating to fix the scratch". Ok no problem we need the car back so we will reschedule that repair. We headed down to the dealership to pick up the car and asked for the spare key. Turns out they NEVER had it AGAIN! Frustrated we left but they promised to be in touch after the Thanksgiving holiday. Rodney the salesman even promised to come pick up the car so we wouldn't be inconvenienced again. No one called, no one picked up the car, and we still have the scratch on the bumper as well as no second key fob. To add icing on the cake they incorrectly submitted the VIN number to the DMV. We received a letter in the mail from the finance company notifying us of the mistake about a month after we purchased the car. We still to this day do not have our license plate and it has been over 3 months since we made the purchase. I have given Seaside Cadillac numerous opportunities to correct these issues and have had no resolve. I am at my last straw and I want someone from Groppetti Automotive group. I want my service contract moved to a reproable service department and I want nothing to do with Seaside Cadillac. read more

Ford issued a recall on our Ford Escapes. We called and made an appointment and took the car in...no parts!! Okay no worries we'll reschedule. Three weeks later we made another appointment. Took the day off of work to get the work done. Guess what no parts... this time I went off on the service manager. He's excuse was that the call center should not have made the appointment. No complaints about the work itself as it was done in a timely manner and advisor kept me in the loop via phone. What ruined the experience is a dishonest staff member. Change in center console was gone when I picked up my car. While the amount was less than a dollar, staff shouldn't help themselves to customers' change and think it's ok to just take people hard earned money. The worst service i have ever had. Would call and leave messages and got no return calls and they only tried to get a hold of me twice in two months. Was told I was #5 on the waiting list for a rental two months ago and never got one even after I left a message about getting one. Found a 2017 Hyundai Tucson Sport for $16,000 online. I went to the dealership it was advertised at and test drove it. The salesman was super nice and informative. He was laid back with no pressure and listened to what I wanted. During the test drive, we talked price and stuff and I mentioned I was already approved through my bank. After the drive, we started the paperwork and I told them again, I'm approved through my bank and they wanted to run the numbers and I said ok. Then, they told me the car actually isn't that price and it was a third party that runs the website and they have no control over the prices they pay. They said they would work on price, but before even running my credit, they gave me a down payment estimate and monthly price. They said couldn't fit their price into my approval even though it was very, very close. I was very disappointed to leave without the vehicle, but also feel bad for the people they said they have driving from the bay area to also look at that same car. I am extremely disappointed with Visalia Honda. My family and I have purchased all of our cars from Groppetti because we want to support our community however, after today I will no longer go to any Groppetti dealership. I went in to have a part replaced on my 2018 Honda. I dropped off my car at 9:30am and picked it up at 2pm. When I got my car the entire front grill and part of the hood was scratched! My car was in excellent condition! I told the service manager (Kevin Van Pelt) about it and in the beginning he tried to help. It seemed as if he tried to get it buffed out which was NOT okay. After being unable to do so, he returned with my car and said that he was unable to figure out who worked on my car. I asked Kevin what would happen to my car because it was unacceptable. Kevin replied "we'll get it taken care of" and that is all. Kevin expected me to leave and assure that he will take care of it? I was not happy. I asked if I could get that in writing so to have evidence that it WILL be taken care of. He said that he couldn't do that because he was not sure if Honda was responsible. At this point I was furious. I felt like Kevin was accusing me of lying. I told him that they did an inspection of my car prior to having it worked on that day and to check that paper work to see if any of that damage was on there. After that, Kevin agreed to write me a paper stating that Honda would repair the damage to my car. I may be young but I am not dumb. After an hour of arguing with Kevin I left to quality paint and body with the paper to get an estimate for my car. Quality paint and body told me they would contact Honda and Kevin, so I hope to hear from them both soon because I want my car fixed the way it was before today. read more

They don't communicate, one guy tells you you can have the truck by a certain time if one customer doesn't want it and when the time comes you don't get it because they said they're coming to get it, but an hour later not show up and you still don't get it. I have never had such a bad experience and bad taste in my mouth in a long time. If your considered a manager than you should act like and manage cause mike you act like a child. I have been a customer for the past 7 years, and I'm sorry to say that my 3rd purchase will be my last. When I first purchased a car with Groppetti, the staff was not only knowledgeable, but helpful. They worked within the constraints of my financial situation and made me feel like my business was valuable, despite not being able to afford much. This experience was repeated on my 2nd visit, and both times I walked away in a brand new Toyota Corolla. Cue my 3rd visit in Feb 2017. I was extremely disappointed to see that the service had gone waaay down. It was nothing like I remembered it; in fact, most of the staff had changed. The fact that so many had moved on is very telling, in my opinion. I can only guess that the management must not be the best to work for. That being said, I was ignored as I walked into the dealership. In the past, a salesman would hold the door open as a welcoming gesture, but this time, the salespeople stood outside in the same huddle I had found them in when I pulled up. I actually had to walk back to the cashier seeking out someone to help me, and instead she gave me a confused look. This is completely unacceptable. I am by no means an entitled snob, but when I'm paying more than 10 grand on a single item, you can bet I demand excellent customer service. It gets better. After getting nowhere with the cashier, I stopped a man on the sales floor to see if he had the time to show me some new Toyota models. He said he was sorry, but he was with another customer and I could have a seat if I wanted. I didn't want to, and asked him if he could point me to someone else who wasn't busy. It was clear that I was a burden to him and as I walked back outside, I had remained cool up until that point, but I'd had it. I expressed my unhappiness to the group STILL talking in their huddle. Finally, one of the saleswomen said she could help me. I was pretty fired up, but told her the reasons why and she seemed to understand. It's not fun to feel like more of an inconvenience rather than a valued customer. I should mention that I had been going back and forth with my original salesman over the phone for several weeks. I had let him know I'd be coming in that day to make the purchase and he said he would for sure give me "his undivided attention." He was nowhere to be found but finally emerged later after the other salesperson had taken over. After this long, drawn out process, I finally left with a Toyota Yaris iA. What pissed me off is the surprise on my final bill: they had tacked on $3000 worth of over-mileage fees that I had understood would be waived with the purchase of a new car. The first 2 times I came in, I had leased both vehicles, and they actually worked with me and waived the overages. I expected that they would do the same on the 3rd, especially since I was buying instead of leasing, but they didn't. And what makes me angry is that I was NOT told they would be assessing an additional $3000 charge. Pretty underhanded. The other thing I REALLY didn't like was the whole back and forth numbers game they play. Basically, they present with you an exorbitant offer to buy the car. The first number they threw at me was over $900 per month. I asked the saleslady if they were kidding, and said of course I can't afford that. So back she went to the office, coming back with a $700 and some odd number offer. This process was repeated 4 more times, each time taking up to 30m. Cute, considering I had told them I was a busy working student with not a lot of time to play these games. But let's back up a little bit. From the time I had went on a test drive, to the time I found myself sitting in the office, they had assured me the whole process would be done in about an hour. I left the dealership at the three hour mark. RIDICULOUS. It is my hope that someone of importance will see this review and reach out to me. I'm not sure how strongly I have conveyed my disappointment, but it is the reason I will NOT be back and I will no longer recommend this place to my friends or family. After signing the paper, found out that what they said they were giving us was not true and we end up paying more, Lesson learned. Go to the service department and the guy informs me that nobody has worked on my car. So I'm been waiting 2 hours for nothing. I feel like I was very much taken advantage of. I bought a used Buick enclave 2011 about six months ago. Within the last month, I paid for $2000 worth of repairs, and , In addition,they wanted to charge me $1500 to change the brakes. They gave me a very long explanation about why the rates are so expensive, which was a total lie. I ended up taking my car to a nice business in Dinuba, thanks to my dad. We bought the parts at Smith auto, and Pacific tire installed. They charged us $70 to install and it was done within one hour. In total with parts and labor, we paid $250. There is absolutely no excuse for this type of behavior, anyone who reads this needs to take their business elsewhere! I would like to know how much of my money was stolen from me with the previous two repairs that they did for me! read more
