Had Gross Enterprises inc. out to do some work on 2 bathrooms. Small bath needed toilet reset and some sub-floor replaced as well as new self stick vinyl installed. At the same (requested that they) review and estimate front bath floor needs. Open enough of small bath floor to investigate large bath problem. Both bathrooms are back to back so made sense to look from that side. Small bath 5 by 7 total time on invoice was 31 hours. $3694.59 total to date. Work looked good, price seems high. Larger bathroom had typical damage front left of tub and floor was very soft to probing. We knew there was an issue. When I got the estimate for the larger bathroom 6 by 10 was told that flooring, bathtub, cultured bath shower surround, sliding shower doors, toilet, wall that holds shower and tub plumbing all had to be removed. The estimate came in at $12,700.00, which seemed excessive so we asked them to stop. We did have some water under house, clearly a leak was happening. I did not have Gross Enterprises proceed. I took a 14 year Journeyman Plumber and we opened up the floor to the larger bath and within 5 minutes of being under we found the water problem (pictures below) Looking closer we found that a water drain from the kitchen was the sitting water issue. Cut and replaced 5 foot section of drain pipe, remove all water and treat ground. Then my plumber found that the tub overflow was the soft floor problem. Sealed the overflow. Removed all sub-floor that was affected and replaced the flooring that probed soft. Total repair cost for large bathroom was $900 including Plumber cost for the day at $50/hour. Picture of toilet area no sub-floor damage visible.

Before and After. Love my Kitchen!

Following a kitchen water leak that did damage to one end of my relatively small galley kitchen, I was referred to Gross Enterprises, Inc. for both restoration and ultimately a remodel of my kitchen.  The finished product is a joy, and I couldn't be happier with the unbelievably beautiful outcome. It is now a profoundly different space from before. At the same time it was also a definite pleasure working with Jeff Gross and his team.  Jeff has created a focus for his work that includes helping his customers define and achieve to their complete satisfaction their project vision . He and his team were so helpful to me, as I was gradually adjusting my vision, turning the project, which had emerged initially from water damage repair, into a complete transformation of my whole kitchen space. And I really enjoyed every part of the experience of working with Jeff and his team. He and his son, Marshall, who served as the foreman of the project, and his administrative assistant, Alison, all have a wonderfully cheerful approach to work and seem simply to  love what they do. They actually enjoy solving problems and addressing any obstacles that may arise. At the same time they are true perfectionists who bring a high level of professionalism and detailed attention to each facet of the construction process. Their skill level is profound. I highly recommend them and the high quality of their work.

Alison and Marshall being helpful and happy...as usual :)

Chris and his team did a fantastic job on our deck! He was quick to come out and get an estimate…read moretogether. His price was very fair. He is a professional, to the point, and very knowledgeable. He took all of my concerns into consideration and planned accordingly. He was communicative through the project as well. His crew really knew what they were doing. They were friendly, hardworking, and cleaned everything up at each juncture. The deck looks great and is built to last! Thank you Chris!

As a new home owner, having to do stuff for the house is still quite an unknown journey for me. And…read moreso, when we had wood rot on our balcony beam replaced, I was not excited to get it figured out. I read many reviews on Yelp, and after evaluating many contractors, I decided to use Yelp's project tool to contact Clark Innovative. When you do this, you get responses from many other companies too. Many reached out before Chris from Clark did. I ended up making an appointment with one of them to have them take a look at it. This person began has contract biz recently... and he did not seem confident. The way he was looking at it, he was reacting in a way that seemed like it's a bit of a pain in the you-know-what job and said it was going to cost a lot. He was a nice guy, but he did not instill confidence in me that he knew what he was doing. (He never even sent me a bid) After that, I wondered if I should reach out to these other companies that responded, but my intuition was telling me to wait a bit longer. Clark did eventually respond with apologies, and made an appointment to come look. They looked at it and just the way he was acting, I could tell this person knew what they were doing, and they came up with a solution to just replace the rotted portion, saving us half the cost! (So yeah, I believe the innovative part of their name!) It was all incredibly reasonable. Dates were pushed back etc, because of rain and other things, but I honestly didn't mind it. Chris tried to be a good communicator, and even when he wasn't, I could contact him and he'd respond. He was just busy. Sometimes, you can just tell with people who is being genuine. Who wants to simply do a good job for you, without gouging you or ripping you off. We need more of these people in the world right now. I'm glad I listened to my intuition, and waited for the right company to do the job. And I will definitely use them again for future work. It's really nice to have a good contractor in our back pocket.

Tim was so helpful and responsive to my requests to get quote for rescuing us from ourselves. He was friendly, knowledgeable and got over to our place right away. As you may imagine, our project ended up being more complicated than any of us anticipated, but Tim and his helper were able to problem solve on the spot, and smoothed out all the wrinkles we had made before they got there. Our project was completed super fast, and we are delighted with the results. The quality of the work was excellent, we felt confident in Tim's skills, and our bathroom was back up and running that very evening. I love finding local folks with such high quality talent, and I absolutely recommend Tim and his team.
